The Way of The Dao

Ling Tian looked at everything silently but with a stunned and speechless expression. How come everything felt like there was a silent but extremely terrifying battlefield? With a strange tension that made his heart tremble as his intuition clearly screamed out inexplicable crises of alarm!

Although this intuition was completely different from the feeling of death when fighting or being in an unfavorable situation, Ling Tian could still feel that this was strangely somehow more terrifying, having to guard himself and keep his mouth from moving, as if he felt helpless and had no choice but to stay silent and watch what was happening. He could not help but feel strange and dazed.

He could see that of this battlefield there was a top side being that of his wives, while one side was on Xue Ning alone, another was on Ning Xiaoyi and Xi Fei, as well as that of Zhao Yu and Gu Yan, and the last was on the side of Gao Xue, Gao Yue and Zhen Bingluo. All aiming at his wives' side as they sometimes "attacked" Lan Yin and Qing Sha by showering them with gifts, but with the main aim of attacking Yun Mengxin and them. Even he could feel the sharp gazes of Zhao Yu and Gu Yan especially towards Yun Mengxin.

Ling Tian smiled with interest inside as he sensed the scene unfolding and how the balance was tipping towards his wives. His intuition somehow told him that his wives were in charge and they would deal with everything.

A woman's heart is unpredictable and mysterious, but most of all very frightening, even more so than any battlefield or powerful enemy....

Each of the women gave each other glances as they tried to impose their own auras and temperaments. The smiles were obvious in their expressions, but even Ling Tian could sense that somehow those smiles gave some fear and chills.

"Master! Yinyin has something for you!"

As the silence was becoming increasingly awkward, Lan Yin's sudden exclamation broke the atmosphere.

Lan Yin turned to Ling Tian as she directed her spirit sense toward her storage ring.

"Shasha too!"

Qing Sha quickly recalled what she and her sis had found and stored for Ling Tian.

Instantly, several breaths turned cold when they saw what Lan Yin and Qing Sha had in their small hands as they took out various items from their storage rings.

"Half Heaven Spiritual Fruit!"

"Solar Essence Grass!"

"Lunar Essence Grass!"

"Imperial Majesty Flower!"

"Seed of World Creation!"

"Spiritual Peach!"

"Perennial Leaf!"

"Pure Celestial Essence!"

"Lightning Cloud Dew!"

Mu Shuiruo, Zhen Bingluo, Ning Xiaoyi and even Zhao Yu were shocked to recognize many objects that both little girls had taken out and wanted to give to Ling Tian.

These objects, herbs, essences and so on, were natural sacred treasures so rare and almost impossible to find!

Heavenly and divine treasures that only appear after every several million years!

Even Ling Tian couldn't help but be stunned for a few seconds upon seeing this and then seeing the happy but obviously innocent and genuine expressions of Lan Yin and Qing Sha, handing him everything they both had without hesitation.

"Yinyin, Shasha, where did you get all this from?" Ling Tian asked in a somewhat shocked voice. Ling Tian was startled and muttered in surprise. Zhang Xinya and the other women were also surprised and listened quietly but very attentively to what both girls were saying.

"But at first Sis Yinyin and I didn't trust her because we didn't know her, but after talking and traveling with her for a long time we found out that she was a very good big sister and that she was also lost like us. So she said if she could stay with us so that we could all look for a way out together and find you Master!" Qing Sha answered after thinking for a few seconds, putting the words together and remembering when they met that beautiful big sister.

And then that big sister led us through the forest and we came to a place that had many huge trees with lots of fruits hanging from them, as well as fields full of flowers of various colors, very nice and beautiful! There was even a waterfall and in it there were many colorful fish as well as adorable and cute animals!" Lan Yin described with a smile the place where they had been. She then clasped her hands together with the treasures she held and brought them closer to Ling Tian.

"Master, that big sister helped us collect all these fruits and flowers for you! Sis Shasha and I kept everything for you, Master!"

Lan Yin together with Qing Sha again offered Ling Tian everything they both had, forcing Ling Tian to stretch out his hands and take everything.

Ling Tian's mind processed everything very quickly, realizing that Lan Yin and Qing Sha had fortunately arrived at a place full of vitality and energy. The treasures that both girls had could only be found in places with abundant Chi, and especially after having grown up in an average of dozens and hundreds of thousands of years.

And now seeing that these two little girls had many natural treasures in their little hands that were either of the same type or different, there was no doubt that they found a blessed land that had not been touched for at least a few million years.

"And that big sister you mention didn't keep any of this?"

Suddenly, Ling Tian remembered this mysterious woman who helped these two little girls. Qing Sha and Lan Yin soon quickly explained what had happened since they had been separated from Ling Tian and the others, to the point of meeting this beautiful woman and how they traveled with her, as well as when they used a teleportation formation to leave that place when what seemed like a storm began to destroy the whole place.

Ling Tian blinked and raised his eyebrows slightly.

"She said that she wouldn't have much use for the things we collected because she had already consumed these things in the past, so she said we'd better keep them..." Lan Yin added shortly, "Besides, that big sister was very strong, stronger than Yinyin and Shasha!"

Qing Sha quickly nodded what Lan Yin said. That beautiful big sister was stronger than the two of them!

Tang Wanying and the other women couldn't help but be surprised. It seemed that someone had taken care of these two little sisters of theirs.

"She told you what her name was?" Ling Tian asked.

"Ah! No!"

At once, Lan Yin and Qing Sha were dumbfounded to realize that they didn't know that big sister's name!

"But it seems she knew you, Master! Because she said she would take us with you if we followed her, Master!"

"Besides, that big sister is very kind and loving, just like big sister Shuiruo!"

"And she also smiles like big sister Wanying!"

Lan Yin and Qing Sha quickly began to describe this woman thinking that perhaps their Master would know.

Mu Shuiruo and Tang Wanying were stunned to hear the description of this mysterious woman as she had similarities to them.

Ning Xiaoyi and the others also noticed this and couldn't help but feel a little strange and sad.

"You don't know who she is, Master?"

Qing Sha and Lan Yin asked Ling Tian after describing what this big sister looked like. They wanted to know her name and who she was, since they had liked her very much and she took care of them as their big sisters.

"Another mysterious and beautiful sister joining? Hehe~"

Tang Wanying chuckled playfully, casting glances full of interest at Ling Tian. Her sisters also nodded with small smiles, looking intently at Ling Tian and waiting for new information about this mysterious sister who would be joining them possibly in the future.

Ling Tian did not find anyone in his memories with these few characteristics given by his two little disciples, from what they said this woman really should be extraordinarily beautiful. The next moment, Ling Tian glanced sideways at the little white ball in Tang Wanying's lap who was sleeping peacefully, as if she was not interested in what they were talking about, with a calm and indifferent aura, as if nothing could shock the little animal.

Ling Tian smiled as he was hugged by Lan Yin and Qing Sha when they heard his words. The habit of these two girls was simply to be with their Master and not to be separated from him, especially after being separated from everyone for a long time. The love they have for Ling Tian in their little hearts were constantly growing non-stop, smiling happily while they were with their Master and taking every moment to hug him.

Suddenly, a subtle and almost imperceptible ripple in the place startled Xi Fei, Xue Ning, Long Yuyin and the other women!

Zhao Yu and Gu Yan's spirit senses expanded all over the place followed by the other women looking for any strange traces!

"Brat, you still don't come out? Everyone already noticed your presence, haha."

Ling Tian raised the corner of his mouth teasingly.

Hey there my fellow cultivators!

Now I really offer you a mega and gigantic sincere apology for not having updated and much less having warned that I wouldn't be uploading chapters for a while, although before my times without uploading chapters reached 1 month now it was much longer :(

I just had been down due to some personal issues, so much that I didn't feel like doing many things, affecting both my personal life and work, making that in the end I had no energy and inspiration to write chapters (although I could have written one or another to keep you updated but it wouldn't be the same, since I don't want to write empty or meaningless chapters, so I took a long break at the end. Even writing the first chapter took me almost a week, but in the end I deleted it because I didn't like how it turned out and how I had written it.). And then I read some novels that were recommended to me until lately I got that energy and inspiration to write again and get out of this dull state. My Dao of the Heart stabilized, my demons vanished and my bottleneck disappeared, reaching a new Realm, hahaha.

And here I am back, I took a little vacation these last weeks after thinking about it for a while, so I'm back to work again (and I'm only 25 years old and the famous problems of the great adulthood have caught up with me haha).

So, I hope you'll excuse me in return for this little massive release :D

I will try to offer another apology this weekend with another little massive release, but it all depends on the workload I get delegated due to the fact that I come "fresh and new" from my vacations haha.
