The Way of The Dao

Yun Mengxin was currently resting in her bedroom.

She had returned from meeting Ling Tian, so she was about to sleep.

Looking at the porcelain bottle on the bedside table, she reached out and grabbed it.

Yun Mengxin remembered her behavior that night in front of Ling Tian. She was embarrassed and could not stop a slight blush from appearing on her cheeks.

She immediately drank the medicinal liquid.

Ling Tian nodded: "You should have slept, you didn't have to wait for me."

A disappointed look briefly crossed her beautiful eyes while she moved her lips. She wanted to say something, but in the end, she hesitated.

Ling Tian could more or less discern what she was feeling.

He waved his hand and patted her head gently: "Little Shuiruo, thank you for waiting for me, but it was not necessary to stay up waiting for me, it is already very late. Now, go to sleep. I will rest too."

Then, he would use one of the natural teleportation zones that exist in the cultivation world and travel between the worlds until he returns to the immortal world.

"But in the meantime, I could enjoy my stay in this lower world a little. It might be interesting for me to stay here... to live as an ordinary mortal..." Ling Tian became interested in this tiny world. He had never been on any plane where there is apparently only one city in the world, fighting a constant battle against demonic beasts. The worlds where he traveled in search of immortal crystals to cultivate more quickly were always abandoned and their laws of time were greatly altered. He never found human life in those places. Occasionally he encountered demonic creatures, nothing more.

Besides, he felt that he should not leave this lower plane for now. He didn't know why he felt that.

Ling Tian swept away his frustration with determination and hope. He knew that someday he could return to his peak, even if it took a little time.

In less than two more hours it would be dawn, so he decided to sleep.

Ling Tian woke up early again and took a bath.

Mu Shen got up at once.

"Mmm? My sister's not up?" He didn't see Mu Shuiruo up, so it was strange.

Ling Tian subtly released his spiritual sense and found that Mu Shuiruo was still sleeping.

Shaking his head with a helpless smile, he said: "Maybe she went to bed late yesterday, so she is still asleep. Don't disturb her, let her sleep peacefully."

He could be a good brother later on.

Ling Tian knew that this was not the immortal world, where hypocrisy and evil existed. The malice that existed in this place would be child's play for him. But the evil in people could still grow inside them. He would wait a little longer.

"I'll go to the city, I'll come back later." Ling Tian warned Mu Shen while raising his hand in farewell and heading for the exit of the house.

"Okay." Mu Shen nodded and continued his warm-up.

Ling Tian arrived quickly in the Star City. He circled around and finally found himself standing in front of a large building.

Ling Tian wanted to know the level of knowledge of alchemy in this lower plane and how much they knew, so he entered the building.

"Welcome, would you like to buy any elixirs or order any?" A woman in her twenties approached Ling Tian and asked politely with a smile.

A man was carrying a middle-aged man on his shoulders. Next to him was a young woman in a dress that highlighted her figure.
