Ling Tian attacked with his own Soul Essence!

If before he was only on the defensive and resisting, he reached a point of rage and decided to attack the Dao itself, returning it face to face.

If the first encounter with this Great Dao he only opted for offense while trying to save himself, especially his body, then now he had more freedom and acted offensively for the first time. Although he had obviously ended up with his imminent defeat, Ling Tian did not give up despite knowing the obvious outcome.

A terrifying outpouring of force and power, blended with an unwavering will and firm intention, burst out and smashed into the light of the Great Dao!

Although it seemed like it was just some soul forces battling, a powerful energy exploded out and fiercely shook this dimension of the void!

With this energy that shook the entire space, Ling Tian's Soul gained more impact... but this also caused more images and faint memories to resurface!

Ling Tian was surprised for a moment as he saw various figures and felt a familiarity with them, but now he focused on continuing to fight.

The more he struggled, the bigger the suppression became and the more the entire void was illuminated!

The shaking of the entire dimension created ripples that spread throughout infinity!

Ling Tian was now certain that the spirit of the Great Dao was actually pushing him to give his all, pressing him toward his limits. The mysterious and subtle emotions mixed mainly between anger and expectation reached Ling Tian, expressing to him to somehow give up but at the same time continue fighting without hesitation.

Ling Tian's Soul Essence also began to emanate an intense light, competing against the light of the Great Dao spirit itself, growing and expanding throughout the once dark dimension.

Ling Tian felt that even though he felt a small crack in the depths of his Soul, it was still not enough to expel that mysterious force hidden within him. If this weak and light breath is so powerful, then how powerful would it be if it managed to extract that hidden force?

The spirit of the Great Dao seemed to have understood Ling Tian's state and that he wanted to use this to his advantage to expel a greater force, so at once, chains and shackles tried to restrain him.

But Ling Tian frowned as he felt that these shackles would easily break before slightly stronger ones fell on him, breaking them and forming a cycle.

Although it seemed that the Great Dao wanted to imprison him, it also seemed to be helping him, as the greater the pressure the greater the release of the strange breath as it expanded that crack inside him.

'Are you sure, my Lord? Although it has more than enough strength to wipe out everything, there might be some complaints and rumors...'

'If you, Great King, can't do it, then no one can...'

'I'm ready for the tenth round, my Lord! I still can't catch up to your heels...'

'The condition for increasing strength does not depend on abandoning the rest, but keeping it in there, in the heart... no wonder you are the strongest being in the realm, Your Highness!'

Faint conversations and shadows of images kept appearing the more Ling Tian struggled, realizing that he really should have had a past life. The memories came from within his own Soul, so there would be no doubt.

The alteration and formation of his Soul formed an endless cycle in a moment, gradually becoming stronger the more he continued to resist.

The Great Dao's spirit light also seemed to have reached its point, as if at any moment it would burst forth with great energy and could knock Ling Tian out.

But then, Ling Tian began to feel a much heavier lethargic feeling, as if he was beginning to grow tired the stronger his soul became and at any second he would enter a deep sleep...

But Ling Tian didn't want to give up, so he tried to gather all the strength he could from his soul, searching for every trace of energy he could use and even forcing himself to the point where he would be in a dangerous position, something that would be fatal because if he made a simple mistake he would dissipate into this dimension of the void, with his soul disappearing forever.

* Crack... *

At once, a tiny crack formed in the distance and out came a terrifying force no weaker than the void itself!

Ling Tian felt that there was a strange familiar feeling in the energy coming out of that crack, but he quickly lost it, as if he felt that he didn't have enough strength right now...

* Roar... *

Then, Ling Tian felt a vague illusion that there was a fierce and faint roar at this moment, traveling throughout the entire dimension of the void and shattering the layers around!

The strength in his Soul doubled instantly after hearing this roar, as if he received an unknown impulse!

A sharp and fierce feeling, a wild and unique sensation, coming from antiquity and ascending to divinity!

With this impulse, the Great Dao light did not stay back and also increased the suppression on Ling Tian, pushing him over the edge!

"You really deserve to be the..."

The Remnant Soul's voice was faintly heard again, but Ling Tian couldn't catch the last thing he had said. He didn't know if he really couldn't hear it or the Remnant Soul didn't say it, as if it didn't want him to know.

The light reached a climax where even Ling Tian in his soul form had to "close" his eyes and concentrate on his resistance that was getting weaker and weaker. The force in his expelled soul soon began as if it started hitting a layer of absorbent cotton, falling smoothly and effortlessly, as if encountering a strange barrier.

"Even if you come back somehow, your body is under the repercussion of the Primordial Chaos Force, so you will have trouble with your power. Even moving might be difficult for you..."

The Remnant Soul's voice reached Ling Tian as he concentrated. Ling Tian knew something was wrong with his body, but now his main goal was to get out of here. Then he would deal with it.

Although Ling Tian couldn't really see what was going on, the pressure in his soul changed greatly, as if he was moving through the void. But the suppression was still there, as if it was unwilling to leave him.

"You have many questions in your heart, which could have been answered if you accepted the opportunity, but now you have decided to be on your own path and you must be prepared..."

The Remnant Soul spoke again, but this time it seemed that his voice became weaker and weaker, as if he was fading away. This voice seemed as if it came from Linqi himself, as he had actually helped him and explained many things to him before, expressing this kind of similar feeling to him.

He was right. Ling Tian had many doubts in his mind and that he might never be able to know the answers, but he had no regrets and decided to move on. Someday he would be able to find his answers.

"But all I can tell you is to be prepared because the Heavens cannot tolerate an existence that could change the order of the universe, someone who could go beyond the Great Dao... But it could also be said that you are its only hope now..."

Ling Tian was stunned for a second upon hearing the last, and before he could say anything, the world became dark, empty and silent.

He no longer felt any suppressive force, not even a trace of energy around him. He couldn't even feel his Soul form!

* SWOOSH! *

Suddenly, Ling Tian noticed that in this dark world, the stars in the distance suddenly shone.

With a glance, Ling Tian seemed to teleport and moved closer to the stars.

What?

As Ling Tian approached, he saw the destruction of the stars one by one, as if a strange and terrifying energy invaded each celestial body and altered all their laws until they collapsed and disappeared!

Like a movie, watching and replaying in greater or lesser speed, Ling Tian witnessed something again.

Space shattered and Time eroded!

Ling Tian knew it perfectly well because he had lived through similar situations before!

A world where time would rapidly pass until it disappeared and another world where space would collapse and disappear into the void!

That was how he managed to cultivate quickly too!

But it seemed that his assumptions were right when he paid much more attention this time...

The strange energy would somehow manage to "infect" the world to the point of altering it and making it collapse, eventually destroying itself and disappearing into the void without leaving any trace behind.

Ling Tian understood that somehow, the laws that governed the whole world would be collapsed, either by something or someone...

* SWOOSH! *

Suddenly, the vision changed again and this time, Ling Tian saw himself in a sea of clouds, flying among them as if he was given the feeling that he was the ruler of the heavens. A mysterious but extremely powerful force that could destroy Heaven and Earth seemed to gather in Ling Tian's Soul Essence.

A faint and almost imperceptible flash of lightning crossed the sky, traveling through the void as it gave off a strange feeling. A heavenly tribulation seemed to begin at any moment.

- "From Chaos everything was born ...

Sun, Moon, Stars.

Yang and Yin.

Light and Darkness.

Life, Death and Reincarnation.

Mortality, Immortality and Divinity.

From Chaos comes all power and force.

From Chaos, One was born. One gave birth to Two, Two gave birth to Three, Three gave birth to All..." -

Then, an ancient, celestial voice, came to Ling Tian's mind, shocking him as those words were recorded in his soul, bringing a feeling of enlightenment, as if he could glimpse and know much of the secret of the universe.

"Isn't this the voice of the Great Dao?"

Ling Tian murmured, feeling as if this voice belonged to the Great Dao itself...

Curiously enough, it had a trace of Linqi's voice and the Remnant Soul. But on second thought, it would not be strange if they were the same voice, since they both belonged to the same Great Dao, the same Heaven.

When Ling Tian seemed to "wake up" and get the feeling of coming back to life, he was surprised when he noticed that the surroundings changed and he now found himself looking up at the sky, no longer above it but now below it, watching the clouds as his vision began to clear.

* BANG! *

A fierce explosion burst out of his body as he felt a terrifying energy fill and cover every muscle and cell in it. Ling Tian couldn't help but spit out a mouthful of blood as he felt his internal organs and other viscera shredded.

"This is the Primordial Chaos Force?"

Ling Tian remembered what the Remnant Soul had said, but was even more surprised when he felt that it was only a faint, tiny breath but seemed to contain a terrifying force, even as it fought against the strength of his immortal essence along with al vitality the world tree, as if it wanted to destroy them as it could not tolerate their energies.

His body refinement technique began to run, healing some wounds as he tried to evolve and improve the flesh body.

* Whoosh! *

This strength somehow was good as he felt he broke through and his body felt stronger and more powerful.

Skin Stage of the Saint State!

The powerful flesh force burst out but again he concentrated on resisting against this energy. Ling Tian didn't know how much resistance he had gained, but he estimated that he shouldn't be weaker than a Separation and Reunion realm cultivator.

It even seemed that if he endured a little longer in such a state, he would be able to break through to the Spirit Realm.

Ling Tian was also surprised when he noticed that several layers of the Heavenly Seal had opened, releasing a large amount of power flowing into his body. But it was precisely this power that was used to contain against this Primordial Chaos Force...

If this was just a small particle of energy, then how terrifying would it be if it had a large amount of it?

Even a smaller part had also entered the Heavenly Seal, but it was also being contained by the same Heavenly Laws, as if it still didn't have enough strength to shake the shackles!

If his Immortal Essence was not being occupied to contain this mysterious Primordial Chaos Force, Ling Tian estimated that his cultivation would soar and he would directly enter the Human Immortal realm!

But now, Ling Tian was even under the enormous and powerful suppression of Heaven and Earth, while at the same time he was fighting and holding back this terrifying force in his body!

His body was a mess inside, feeling the impact and repercussions of the clash between these fierce energies. If it wasn't for the help of the World Tree's vitality, he feared that his body would be in a much worse state or even shattered...

Ling Tian wouldn't even be able to display half of his current strength...

* BOOM! *

An explosion occurred in the distance and Ling Tian looked in that direction. His eyes turned cold and filled with killing intent. His momentum slightly went up a layer, making the repercussion on his body more fierce.

Taking out many flags and changing the formation, the aura throughout the world changed and the energy gathering in this world's tree increased.

"You'll have to hold on for a bit. I will soon solve these problems." Ling Tian looked slightly at the huge tree, which was the spirit of the world.

Then he took out a Dragon mask and put it on. His Chi changed and his aura became different, but which seemed to contain a sharp and fierce trace. His energy also seemed to stabilize, as if transmitting additional strength to Ling Tian's body to help him fight the energies within.

His gaze seemed to see the battlefield thousands of miles away, coldly observing these people who dared to fight against his family.

Who was he?

He is an Immortal Supreme!

Even though he was being restrained, he could still kill if he wanted to!

If they wanted to hurt his family, then they would have to suffer the consequences!
