"But before that..." Ling Tian looked at her seriously and said, "You'll have to start again as all your martial arts power will be lost... Still, are you willing?"

The icy woman was perplexed to hear Ling Tian, will she lose all her power? Then what good was it for her to endure all this pain to one day lose her martial arts power? But, if she didn't get cured of her illness, does that mean she'll die very young? Wait! If he can cure her, she will no longer have to suffer, and she will be able to return to training much more quickly and have her power again. Although it would take some time, she was sure she could do it again! She wouldn't let anyone decide her life!

Ling Tian saw the fight in her eyes and said nothing. He wanted to see her resolve. If she was really willing, he would help her in any way he could. He would give her the power she craved to decide her future.

Ling Tian was sure that once she started on the path of cultivation, her cultivation would increase at an unimaginable speed. Her fitness would be against the sky. He was even a little envious of her. Such a legendary body, was what the cultivators dreamed of to achieve superior cultivations easily.

No more than 30 seconds passed, when the icy woman looked up and looked straight into Ling Tian's eyes as she replied, "I will!"

Ling Tian saw that her eyes were filled with determination and knew that she had really made up her mind.

He smiled at her with a look of approval as he said, "Since you have made up your mind firmly, I will help you with this. You can even use your body's coldness to your advantage, helping you get better much faster and get the strength you want. Even with a special method that I will give you to train, you will be stronger than you are now, I assure you".

Ling Tian told her this to encourage her. He knew perfectly well what it felt like to lose one's power. He was desperate and helpless not long ago, so he could understand her inner struggle as she decided to start over. But, it seems that she is better at meditating and understanding than he is, as she made a decision right away to start over.

The woman was amazed to hear Ling Tian tell her that, she could use the cold of her body to her advantage. Even becoming even stronger than she already was?  Such a response stunned her for a while.

Ling Tian thought, 'I think I have the medicinal herbs to be able to prepare the formula to cure her meridians, but I would have to do it manually and give it to her directly as she cannot use any cultivation techniques to refine a medicinal pill.'

Ling Tian verified his little world by releasing his spiritual sense and at first he was shocked to see that the space had been enlarged and he could see the place more colorful. He would check out his little world later. He quickly looked for his things and found that several things were already available for him to take.

Ling Tian searched the jade containers for the remaining herbs he had. A spiritual dew plant, a stem of spring lotus, and a dragon-heart herb. He took them out at once, along with a clean bottle of jade, and sat down.

Since it had to be in liquid and direct form, he did not have the need to use a cauldron to make a medicine pill.

The icy woman was surprised to see Ling Tian pulling things out of thin air, as if he were working magic. She still sat at a considerable distance from Ling Tian as she watched what he was doing.

Ling Tian proceeded to carefully mix the spiritual dew plant together with the spring lotus stem, while casting a fire spell on his hands to warm the jade bottle and remove its impurities to form a liquid consistency.  He then poured out the dragon-heart herb and mixed it delicately while the liquid was refined by the fire around the bottle. The medicinal liquid changed colour, first it was green, then red, and finally it became a sky blue colour.

The beautiful icy woman was stunned to see Ling Tian mixing the medicinal plants as if nothing had happened, did he not need something called a cauldron to prepare the elixirs? She was sure that Ling Tian must be an alchemist, even a very important one since, he could make elixirs without using a cauldron. But, she decided not to say anything to avoid interrupting him.

Almost 30 minutes passed when Ling Tian finished making the medicinal liquid.

"First, you will have to take this special medicine so that it can heal your body and remove any hidden damage you may have". When Ling Tian finished, he explained to her.

"When you get home, take this medicinal liquid and rest. This will help you heal your body as it digests it for a whole day, so tomorrow at this same time, you will have to come again for another medicinal liquid and I'll check the condition of your body again". Ling Tian handed her the jade bottle with the medicinal liquid and continued, "Remember not to train martial arts these days, let alone absorb the energy in your body as it could diminish the effect of this medicine on you."

The woman nodded softly as she looked at the beautiful jade bottle that contained the elixir that could heal her body.

Ling Tian had an easier way of having her body refine the medicinal liquid, but he did not tell her that, as that required skin-to-skin contact, so he was certain she would refuse.

Ling Tian stood up and stretched a little from exhaustion.

The beautiful, cold woman got up too, and just when she wanted to thank Ling Tian for helping her, they heard a piercing noise.

GROARRR!

The woman alerted herself and looked in the direction of the roar.

She was stunned when she saw a demon beast stand a few feet away from them. It was shaped like a tiger with two horns above its head, but it was nearly five meters tall while a powerful and imposing sensation came from it.

"Dragon Tiger!"

The woman screamed when she recognized the demon beast.

"Dragon Tiger?" Ling Tian was surprised when he heard the name of this demon beast: 'It seems that they really have named the demon beasts'.

Ling Tian did not yet know the classification of the demon beasts in this world, so he did not know that they had been given names.

Ling Tian had already noticed for some time that this demon beast was coming in their direction, but he didn't take much notice of it.

The woman knew the power of this demon beast, so they had to flee, for if they stayed, it was 100% certain that they would die. 

Just as she wanted to alert Ling Tian to escape as soon as possible, she saw how he smiled weakly at her, as if to tell her not to worry while he walked towards the demon beast.

"What are you-..." the icy woman wanted to ask Ling Tian what he was up to in addressing the demon beast when she was surprised by Ling Tian's move.

Ling Tian walked normally towards the demon beast, did not even run, but one could see that he was approaching quickly while the demon beast was moving slowly.

A sword suddenly appeared in his right hand, even reflecting the moonlight on its surface, while once he was within six feet of the demon beast, with a clean swing of his blade, he cut off the head of the Dragon Tiger easily.

The head of the demon beast fell and rolled a few feet, almost close to where the cold, stunned woman was.

The woman was stunned to see how the young man in front of her easily killed the demon beast.

Just as she was losing herself in thought, she heard the voice of Ling Tian from a distance, pulling her out of her daze:

"Remember what I told you! Take the medicinal liquid and rest! Don't even try to train anymore! ... See you tomorrow! ... There's no other demon beast around so don't worry!"

The icy woman watched Ling Tian's back disappear into the darkness, while she wondered who this mysterious man was? how powerful he was? where he came from?

They didn't even know each other's names, and yet he helped her by allowing her to be cured of her illness.

She wanted to reach out and ask him his name, but, knowing that they would meet again the next day, she decided to wait for the next time.

After seeing that the young man was gone, she left too.

Two young people met in the middle of the night, while one helped the other, and in the end, they said goodbye without even knowing each other's names. Waiting for the next time the next day.
