The Sweetest ‘Fake’ Couple

 Lu Li found that Chi Chenyan had flown from City S and even had the time ti bring gifts to her parents, but the thought of her father who was still in the hospital made her dizzy.

“They’re not here.”

“You thought that I ran back to my parent’s house because I saw the unexplained divorce agreement. I won’t let you go so easily. I was going to settle the accounts with you, but my father was sick so I came back.”

Chi Chenyan frowned, and with a worried expression: “What’s wrong?”

Lu Li: “His heard needed stents.”

“I’ve been busy for the past two days, so I didn’t pay much attention to you.”

Chi Chenyan: “Why didn’t you tell me earlier.”

Chi Chenyan: “Which hospital, I’ll go and visit him tonight.”

Lu Li: “I was just driven back home from the hospital by my mother. He’s fine. He’s been transferred to the private ward.”

“Don’t go there tonight and disturb them. You can go tomorrow.”

She tapped Chi Chenyan’s chest with her finger: “I’m going back to frame it and hang it around my neck. If you mess with me one day, I will sign it directly.”

Chi Chenyan silently imagined Lu Li hanging the divorce agreement around her neck and dangling it in front of him every day.

The doctor said that the HCG value in Lu Li;s blood was higher than normal, which was the value during the first trimester, so they asked them to do another check.

Lu Li shook her head: “Maybe it’s because I’ve been too busy and tired these days.”

She said to herself, “I think my father is too old. My mother has been calling me to go home more often. Look, I promised to her but I didn’t really come back until Dad got sick.”

“So I want to stay at home for a few more days this time.”

“It’s good, right?” She raised her head and asked Chi Chenyan.

Chi Chenyan was stunned for a moment and then nodded, “Yes.”

He could feel Lu Li’s guilt and realized that it was not appropriate for him to ask her anything else at this time.

Chi Chenyan held it back for two days and went to the hospital with Lu Li.

Lu Hengrong will be discharged from the hospital a week after his operation. He is already in a lot of energy today. When they entered, he was sitting on the bed wearing reading glasses and watching the news.

Her father;s physical condition improved and Lu Li was obviously in a better mood.
