Chapter 59: They’re Getting Married?

When Ji Hanjiang turned over to help her wipe her lips, she couldn’t smell cigarette smoke on him. Instead, she caught the slightest hint of perfume.

Her intuition could be wrong, but she wanted to confirm her suspicions. However, he had already sat back down, so she didn’t get the chance.

After lunch, Ji Hanjiang dropped her off at work.

She decided to use saying goodbye as an excuse to hug him. Ji Hanjiang was surprised by the gesture but returned the hug nonetheless. Yan Yiren she lay pliant in his arms.

“I just got the urge to hug you…” As he held her, Yan Yiren inhaled a few times. She only withdrew from his embrace after confirming there were no traces of perfume on him.

It seemed like her intuition had been wrong.

“I’ll get going now. Drive safely.”
