The Rise of the Cemetery

: DND system character basic description

The basic attributes have a great influence on the characters. For example, strong people have a greater chance of surviving after being poisoned. Sensitive people can easily find monsters hidden behind them, stupid people do n’t. It is easy to find the door to secrets buried with treasures and so on.

1. Strength (STRENGTH, STR)

Strength quantifies the character's muscle and body strength. This attribute is particularly important for warfare professions such as warriors, barbarians, paladins, and rangers.

The character power modifier will be used to:

· Melee attack hit dice.

· Damage dice (including slings) when using melee weapons or throwing weapons. (Special case: the non-dominant hand has only half the strength bonus of the character, while the two-handed weapon gains 1.5 times the strength bonus. The strength penalty will be applied to the attacks made by the non-compound bow.)

· Climbing, jumping and swimming checks. These skills use strength as a key attribute.

· Strength check (such as breaking the door, etc.).

2. Agile (DEXTERITY, DEX)

Agile quantifies hand-eye coordination, flexibility, response, and balance. This attribute is the most important attribute of the rogue, but it is suitable for those who usually wear light or medium armor (rangers and barbarians), or not (mage and warlock), and anyone who wants to be an excellent archer That said, agility is also important.

The character's agility correction will be used to:

· Long-range attack hit dice, including bow, crossbow, flying axe and other long-range weapon attacks.

· Protection level (Armor Class, AC), to ensure that the characters can respond to attacks.

· Reflex save judgment, you can rely on rapid movement to avoid fireball and other attacks.

· Balance, conceal, stealth, unlock and roll, etc. These skills use agility as a key attribute.

3. Constitution (CONSTITUTION, CON)

Physique represents the character's health and endurance. Constitution bonus can increase the character's life points, so it is very important for all occupations.

The character's physique correction will be used to:

· The throw of each life dice (but the physical penalty can never make the result below 1, that is, the character can gain at least 1 HP when upgrading).

· Toughness exemption check, used to resist toxins and similar threats.

· Focus on verification. Concentration is a very important skill for the caster, with physique as the key attribute.

If the physical value of a person changes enough to change its physique correction, its health value also increases or decreases accordingly.

4. Intelligence (INTELLIGENCE, INT)

Intelligence determines the character's ability to learn and reason. This attribute is very important for the mage, because it determines the number of spells that the mage can cast, the difficulty of resisting their spell casting, and the power of the spell. At the same time, intelligence is important for anyone who wants to have multiple skills.

Character corrections will be used to:

· Skill points gained per level. (But your character can earn at least 1 skill point per level.)

· Remove device, repair, and search checks. These skills use intelligence as a key attribute.

The mage is rewarded with the number of casts from a high intelligence value. The minimum required intelligence value is 10 + spell level.

The intelligence value of the animal is 1 or 2. Humanoids are at least 3.

5. Perception (WISDOM, WIS)

Perception expresses the character's willpower, common sense judgment, perception and intuition. Intelligence expresses the character's ability to analyze information, while perception is more manifested in the perception and understanding of surrounding things. Perception is the most important attribute of a priest, and it is also important for paladins and rangers. If you want your character to have a keen instinct, give him a high perceptual attribute. Any creature has perception.

The character's perception correction will be used to:

· Will save check (used against spells like charmed humans)

· Tests for treatment, listening, and reconnaissance. These skills use perception as a key attribute.

Priest, paladin, and ranger get rewards for the number of casts with a high perception value. The minimum perception value required is 10+ spell level.

6. Charisma (CHARISMA, CHA)

Charisma represents the character's courage, persuasion, personal attractiveness, leadership ability, and attractive appearance. This attribute is most important for Paladins, Warlocks, and Bards. It is also important to the pastor because it affects the pastor's ability to repel undead. Any creature has charm.
