The Feipeng-class was designed by the Suiren Department, and most of the technology patents and core components were also developed and provided by the Suiren Department.

If other express delivery companies purchase the Feipeng class, there will be many security risks. The leakage issue alone will block their possibility of purchasing the Feipeng class.

Over the past two years, Feipeng Group has been developing very rapidly in express logistics, investing a lot of new technologies and huge funds.

For example, in the super highways in Yunnan, Guiyang, and Shu provinces, in addition to the Guiyang-Bijie super highway that has been put into use and the officially invested Sichuan-Tibet super highway, Feipeng Group itself has also invested in three new super highways.

In the eastern region, there is large-scale investment in suspended light rails. In the North China Plain and Northeast Plains, Feipeng Group used the previous water pipelines to build suspended light rails directly above the water pipelines and laid solar panels on the light rails.

Among logistics companies, Feipeng’s network is second only to the postal service and has the largest transportation volume. Its unit transportation cost is only 42 to 45% of the national average.

Recently, Feipeng Group and Postal Group have reached a strategic cooperation. Postal Group will also invest in a number of suspended light rails and super highways, and both parties will share the super highways and suspended light rails.

Obviously, suspended light rail and super highways with independent rights of way are even more powerful for logistics companies.

For example, when Shanmei Express goes to Huizhou, it can be reached directly in half an hour. There is no need to worry about traffic jams, waiting for traffic lights, or paying highway tolls. Other logistics companies simply cannot do this.

Although Snail Industry represents the Suiren Group and is involved in the design and supply of some C919 spare parts, COMAC is the leading party in this project.

The real cooperation project between the two parties is actually the FL1 project, code-named "Flying Plan". The purpose of this plan is to develop a truly super-large commercial aircraft.

According to the design plan of Snail Industry, the maximum transportation capacity of Feilian transport aircraft will reach about 260 tons.

In terms of size, the length is 74.3 meters, the wingspan is 80.5 meters, and the height is 24.6 meters, which is about the same size as the Airbus A380.

The fully loaded take-off weight is 602 tons, the empty weight is 243 tons, and the maximum load is 260 tons. This load ratio is close to 43%.

The maximum payload of the Airbus A380 is 152 tons, with a full load of 575 tons, and the maximum payload ratio is 26%.

This design plan also made many engineers at COMAC feel numb. After all, the size of this flying low-cost transport aircraft is slightly larger than the A380, but its payload must be increased by hundreds of tons. This is obviously a bit whimsical.

When this project was established last year, COMAC was in pain, but Suiren invested 35 billion in initial investment, and they were reluctant to part with the money, so they had no choice but to bite the bullet and continue.

However, with the advancement of technology and materials, COMAC has discovered that it is really possible to realize a low-cost transport aircraft.

The application of a large number of new materials has caused the dead weight of the aircraft to gradually decrease. As the dead weight decreases, the payload will increase while the output power remains unchanged, causing a trade-off.

However, domestically produced large aircraft have always suffered from serious heart problems, and large aviation engines have never been able to be mass-produced. It was not until this year's C919 project that we got a medium-to-large aviation engine that was barely usable.

As for the large-scale aviation engines needed for low-cost transport aircraft, there is no trace of them.

Snail Industry, which strongly supported the Feilian project, seemed not to care and asked COMAC to complete the design of other parts as soon as possible, leaving the aviation development to the Suiren Department.

Chief engineer Yang Guang, who was worried and confused, could only follow the instructions of the funder and immerse himself in designing the Feilian transport aircraft.

It wasn't until the Feipeng-class came out that he suddenly realized it after seeing the Feipeng-class engine.

"Mr. Chang, does your company really plan to use rocket engines?"

Chang Fuguo nodded: "The Storm rocket engine we designed is not only intended to be used on the Feipeng class, but can also be used on transport aircraft."

Yang Guang has no objection to this. After all, the Feipeng class equipped with four Storm rocket engines can push the Feipeng class, which is fully loaded with 3,561 tons, to an altitude of 3,000 meters and fly at a speed of 350 kilometers per hour. It is very scary in itself. engine.

Judging from the thrust, it is more than enough to propel a 602-ton flying low-speed transport aircraft to fly at high altitudes near the lower stratosphere.

The Baofeng engine is an oblique detonation rocket engine, which not only outputs very violent power, but also increases fuel thermal efficiency by about 30%.

Coupled with the thermoelectric power generation module, the overall thermal efficiency is about 50% higher than that of conventional jet engines.

The improvement in thermal efficiency means that the unit fuel cost decreases, and the volume and weight of N20 high-energy fuel are significantly smaller than aviation kerosene.

With so many advantages, if Yang Guang is still unable to complete the design and planning, he would be really incompetent.

Jin Dalong on the side knew that he couldn't give in now. The Suiren Department provided money and technology. If COMAC didn't show some results, it would really be unjustifiable:

"Mr. Chang, I have discussed it with Chief Engineer Yang. Actual production will begin next month. The prototype should be completed in the second half of next year."

Chang Fuguo said: "Well! You should do it as soon as possible. Although the ground effect transport ship has a large transportation volume and is quite fast, some areas still need to rely on transport aircraft."

"It doesn't matter. The domestic market is sufficient. And without an international airworthiness certificate, it doesn't mean that you can't fly international routes." Chang Fuguo smiled nonchalantly.
