"Finally arrived, what a hassle it was!" Many players had tried to attack them on the way and it was getting quite annoying. Although Ye Xiu was quite happy as he had gotten quite a few items and materials.

"Boss, goddess, you're here!" Hearing the familiar voice, Snow Lotus saw Great Destiny, Casting winds and Despairing Drizzle once more.

"Oh? It's you three?" Xuelian nodded her head as she realized the dilemma they were in. With the amount of players attacking them, it would be quite brave of other players to team up with them. 

"Looks like you aren't scared! Good!" Snow Lotus gave a thumbs up which made the three players laugh awkwardly.

"Actually goddess, we left our guild…" Casting Winds spoke up in a soft voice.

"Left? Why?" 

"Truthfully, the big guilds have offered a bounty on your head and one of the groups that attacked you belonged to our guild. We had an argument and we decided to leave." 

Letting out a small sigh, Xuelian felt partly responsible as she promised to solve their problem. 

"Oh, so nice?" Ye Xiu didn't expect Xuelian to help them out, as she was quite cold to them before.

"I find it a bit relatable, that's all. But let's hop into the dungeon, I'm a bit hungry." Waving her hand she stepped into the portal as the others followed suit.

"Glacial Peak, there is only one boss. Should be significantly easier than the Frozen Palace. We'll just use brute force!"

"Ah? Brute Force?" The three players were surprised, although it was easier than Frozen Palace, it was a joke to say they were able to clear a dungeon with brute force alone!

"Trust him!" Xuelian didn't waste any more time before rapidly firing.

"Trust his a**!!" Although they all wanted to shout the words aloud, they still followed his instructions and attacked.

Although they managed to slaughter a lot of the Ice Symbiotes, the three players had to maintain an aggressive front which meant the fight was at a high pace. After a while, it was eventually wearing them down.

[Warning! You have awoken the Ice Colossus from its slumber!]

"It's here!" Great Destiny quickly buffed Snow Lotus' strength with a sword soul before attacking the goblins once more.

Xuelian noticed that the three players were growing accustomed to their pace as she no longer has to instruct Great Destiny.

Closing the distance between herself and the boss, Snow Lotus kneed the colossus in the face, knocking him back as the boss lost balance.

Punisher!

Jumping off the boss' face, Snow Lotus launched herself higher into the air before shooting down with great momentum, completely toppling over the boss.

Dozens of bullets continued to rain down onto the boss as Snow Lotus was standing stop of the boss, refusing to let the colossus get up.

With the prowess of an orange tier weapon, along with the buff from the sword soul and her skills, the damage inflicted took a chunk of health from the boss.

Needless to say, the other players all halted their actions and immediately made their way towards the boss, attacking relentlessly as well.

Although they were in a different dungeon, the methods they were utilizing were quite similar! 

Great Destiny was delighted as he raised his APM even higher. He wondered if using such a similar method as their first dungeon raid was done on purpose. If it was, these players were quite scary!

"Good! Just tank the damage of the Ice Symbiotes and focus on striking the boss!"

Although the Ice Symbiotes were annoying, Ye Xiu managed to cover them with his weapon as he also provided small heals to the party.

20%, 10%, 5%...

The boss' body erupted as the players finally collapsed onto their chair.

"Finally!" Although they had cleared the dungeon, the three players were too exhausted to be excited. Even Great Destiny didn't bother to brag about what he did.

"Hey!" Xuelian caught sight of his actions and immediately took the cigarette before he could light it.

Ye Xiu looked over at her and was speechless before reaching into his pockets once more. "You should have told me if you wanted one. Sheesh."

"F*ck! You think I smoke? I hate the smell of it!" Xuelian couldn't resist the urge to hit him as she threw a punch.

"Alright, alright, you're the boss." Letting out a sigh, he couldn't help but glance at the cigarette Xuelian took.

The three players were speechless, the man actually asked the girl if he wanted to smoke… shouldn't he be impressing her instead? As expected of the boss, so brave.

Just when Xuelian was ready to head over to the next dungeon, she caught sight of a familiar name in global chat.

"Chasing Paradise…"

Xuelian quickly opened her friends list and the name Chasing Paradise was at the very top.

"You have somewhere to go? You're just playing games! I was even worried about you for nothing!" Chasing Paradise was her best friend Ran Zhifei who claimed she had something to do earlier in the day.

"Ah? Where are you guys going?" Great Destiny wished to set another record, however he was curious as to where Snow Lotus was going.

"Have to teach someone a lesson, let's go PK!" Xuelian didn't say anything else as she immediately headed towards the closest city and teleported to the Barren Wastelands.

"Ah, sorry, you heard the boss. Gotta go!" Ye Xiu said goodbye before following Xuelian.

"What's wrong?" Ye Xiu finally asked.

"My friend dared to lie to me! If I don't teach her a lesson, I won't be Xuelian!" Hearing the words from Xuelian, Ye Xiu couldn't help but have pity for her friend. 

The Barren Wastelands was like a junkyard, filled with alot of scrap metal which allowed Xuelian to hide and cover herself by utilizing the terrain.

After walking for a bit, Xuelian finay caught sight of Zhifei and her party.

"Looks like they plan on doing a dungeon!" Xuelian smiled as she continued to watch.

"So? Which one is your friend?" Ye Xiu had Lord Grim throw a hand over his eyes in a dramatic fashion as he wondered which person was so unfortunate to anger Xuelian.

Pointing over to a female avatar that was playing a cleric, Xuelian didn't waste any more time and ran towards the group. "That one, you eliminate the rest." 

"Just so you know, I'm only doing this because you're treating me to a meal!" Lord Grim applied strength on his feet as he launched himself over to the group.

Sky Strike!

Launching the player Hundred Illusions into the air, Ye Xiu quickly followed up with Dragon Tooth, dealing a chunk of damage towards the player.

"Sneak attack!" Hundred Illusions quickly shouted into the voice chat before attempting to strike back.

Knowing that Zhifei was the cleric, Xuelian quickly targeted her first as she grabbed Chasing Paradise's neck before throwing her onto the ground.

Knee Strike!

Burst Firing! Rapid Firing! Quickdraw!

"Quick protect the cleric! Everyone else on Lord Grim!"

Zhifei on the other hand didn't know what was happening before she saw her character flung onto the ground. She quickly attempted a quick-roll, however the action was interrupted as Xuelian used a slide kick.

Although she was able to deal lots of damage, she was ultimately unable to finish her off as she had to back off and reload. But Ye Xiu quickly had Lord Grim fire a stun bullet onto Chasing Paradise preventing her from casting heals and getting up.

Pu, pu, pu, pu…

By the time Chasing Paradise was unstunned, Snow Lotus was already pressuring Zhifei once again. 

"I need help!" Although she wasn't a noob at the game, to fight a Sharpshooter as a Cleric was just suicide. 

Zhifei felt that something was weird as she felt oddly targeted. 

"We can't! Who is this guy?!" Xuelian glanced over at Lord Grim sitting there emotionlessly as he was 1v4ing.

Knowing that Ye Xiu would eventually grow tired, Xuelian didn't show any mercy to her friend as she quickly rained down another set of bullets before finishing her off. 

"It's done, you can leave them alone." Xuelian retreated as she completed her mission.

"Ah? Didn't you tell me to eliminate them earlier?" Ye Xiu was speechless, this girl is so fickle!

Xuelian didn't say anything as she smiled. By only killing the cleric, her party members would know that something was up and she was the one being targeted. They might even kick her out of the party…

If Ye Xiu heard her words, he would have gotten' goosebumps, this girl was so evil! Regardless, Ye Xiu made a note to never anger Xuelian again.

Nonetheless, thanks to Ye Xiu, she had completed her goal."Sorry, I know you wanted to set a record on the third dungeon, but I had you tag along for a personal issue of mine." 

"Hey, didn't I tell you? I was only helping you because you were gonna treat me to dinner! Since it's getting late, why not take a break?" Ye Xiu pointed at the clock.

"Okay, let's go eat! There's a restaurant that I like nearby."

Logging out of her account, Xuelian closed her computer as she paid the cost.

Just when they were leaving, she heard someone shout behind her. "Hey!! Where do you think you are going?" 

"Going to eat, I have plans!" Ye Xiu didn't even turn around as he hurriedly ran away.

"What about your job?!" Chen Guo couldn't believe it as she angrily asked.

"Later, later, busy!" Replying to his boss, Ye Xiu quickly urged Xuelian to hurry and go.

"Is this right?" Xuelian didn't know what to do.

"It's fine, there's not alot of customers anyway."

"What happened?" Zhifei asked her party members as she respawned.

She had lost her staff! It was a blue-tier equipment! 

"Uhh, Zhifei, did you anger anyone?" one of her party members asked.

"No, why?"

"They left after they killed you and took your weapon…"

"What?" Zhifei didn't know whether to laugh or cry. They clearly had the strength to take out their whole party, yet they left after killing her?

"Did any of you guys get their names?"

The voice chat was quiet until someone spoke up. "Lord Grim, Snow Lotus."
