The Other Side of the Last Boss

83. Information gathering

Auretta was compromised.

Neither me nor Fiona would be surprised by that information.

It wasn't if the battle was ongoing.

I throw Klau Solas back at Fiona.

"Are you sure?

"I don't think that's the case now."

Fiona is unhappy with breaking up the fight, but she loses her weapon.

"Explain what happened."

Fiona commands me, and the man tells me the circumstances.

When I say circumstances, I don't know much.

Fiona was escorting Auletta just in case.

But I don't always watch by my side.

That makes it look odd around you.

We guarded the way back and forth strictly, but within the adventurer guild we watched a little further away.

Auletta walks into the back of the guild to grab a late lunch.

Nor did the guards expect to be kidnapped within the guild.

It's time but I won't go back, so I looked for it but I'm nowhere.

There was a note on my boss's desk that I left early because I was not feeling well.

But I'm not the kind of person to do that without telling anyone.

"I guess it's like I put him to sleep and metastasized, waiting for the moment when he disappears and becomes alone"

I give my thoughts.

"It's not just an institution. Adventurer's Guild. Can you do that without anyone noticing?"

Fiona raises questions.

"Most guys can't use a guild very much. There are quite a few places where there are no people because of the large facilities. I don't care if they look at behavioral patterns."

"With that said, Auletta always said she would take the meal alone... Where people are, men get involved and it's hard."

"You must have had that information."

"I wish I was lurking in the back."

I change my story there.

"The question is, where and who took them?"

"Naturally, it's not the Kingdom of Britons. There's no way you're kidnapping your own people."

Fiona denies her suspicions of herself ahead of time.

I don't exactly doubt that either.

"Conversely, there are only a few countries in the Kingdom of Britons that so openly kidnap people."

"Maybe the Kingdom of Scottyard or the Kingdom of Island."

"If we confine ourselves to those two countries, we honestly don't know where we took them."

The world is wide.

My evil eye can be seen anywhere in the world, but it's just an act of moving a camera to see it.

Even if you look appropriately, it's not that easy to find.

"Protesting through a formal diplomatic route… is useless."

"There's no way you admit to spying on people like kidnapping, assassination, etc. Even if you have proof, you're going to poke at it."

I shook my head.

"Besides, I don't have time for that. How many hours until the limit. That's the situation."

…… I'm trying to kidnap him and talk to him. There's no way I'm gonna kill you right now. "

"If it's normal, it is. We'll start with the interrogation."

There was a letter because it considered the possibility of returning it after it was over.

If you talk to me, I'll let you go.

And I take care to get back to my routine.

"After interrogation, start torturing. Even if I confess, there's still something I might know. So they won't kill you any time soon."

But in Auletta's case, if I confess...

"Ah."

Fiona's complexion changes.

Auletta dies when she tells them what information they're craving.

"Yes, disarm it now. Come on!"

Fiona grabs my chest and shakes it with cancer.

"If you say that, you can't disarm it without seeing it."

"Duh, what are you going to do? You'll never be able to find a human being in a matter of hours who doesn't know where he is in the world."

"I'll do something."

When I answer, Fiona stares at us.

"What, if you know what I mean?"

"I told you first. Islander or Scottyard would do such a great thing."

"But I don't know where they are in those two countries right away."

"I'll look into that. I can't help it."

Fiona frowned at my words.

"If you do that from the front to the front, it will be a genuine question."

"It's already taken a lot of work. It's like half the inquisitors."

"Even so..."

Blocking Fiona from trying to advise me, I keep going.

"And Auletta is now my family, my servant. And what happens if I get my hands on it? You have to know that."

Fiona was a little frightened when she felt the creeps in my words.

Seeing it sideways, it flew with a metastasis.

The location is a luxury residential area.

Metastasis has been done before and should only be in a place that can be properly imagined.

I've never been to that house. From a distance away, I headed for the place - Vinzent's mansion.

Though there will be no Lord right now.

Open the front door of the house without even knocking.

"What is it?

Beat up the guard-like man who came in a hurry and stun him.

The man of interest has already been captured on the ibil eye site.

I went up the stairs and opened the front door.

"Hey, who are you!

A man wearing a tuxedo as much as he did in his early years.

The title of deacon of this mansion, but it actually involves a variety of other things.

Seeing several more escorts who came in were defeated one after the other, the Deacon lost his hips.

Grab that neck, push it against the wall and talk.

"An earlier Britons woman was kidnapped. You know what I'm talking about?

"And I don't know. What are you talking about?

I snap my left pinky bone.

"I'm not free enough to make a crap run for it. I know you're an important Scottyard figure."

"I still don't know what I don't know."

"The killer was vivid handiwork and kidnapped without anyone seeing him. He is also a user of metastatic magic. He's a top spy in some country."

The deacon remains silent.

"If you don't want to answer, do you want to leave me another bottle?

"Wait. I really, really don't know!

The deacon's desperate shape did not appear to be very lying.

"Spies in this town are in the process of being restructured, and they're not in a position to do that kind of activity."

"You know who I am?

That's what the Deacon seems to have finally noticed me.

"You are……"

"I'm guessing you ordered me to follow you. You're alive and well."

"Well, that's not us."

I narrow my eyes to those words.

The Deacon panicked when he noticed the silence.

"Well, I wonder who did it."

"Chi, no. but ahhhhhhhhhh"

I snap my left hand pharmacopoeia.

Even though he sweats, the Deacon doesn't talk.

Pretty shabby.

"Are you saying that besides the spies in this city you know, there are other organizations in this town that are doing intelligence work?

I don't have an answer, so I reach out my hand slowly, trying to break my third finger.

"That's right. We have nothing to do with this. So forgive me."

"If we talk properly, we will do nothing more."

"The Third Knights of the Kingdom of Scottyard are moving"

I'm surprised at the answer.

Even though it is not direct, it is quite important that the Knights are moving.

"You think it's the Knights? What do you mean?"

"There's no way I can tell that. I'm told not to tell anyone because it's just confidential and moving."

"If they took people, where would they take them?

I just can't seem to answer this question, and the Deacon kept his mouth shut for a while.

With the sound of Bakie, the deacon's left arm bent in a strange direction.

"No, no, no. Ahhh."

The Deacon's screams echo through the mansion.

There are other people in the mansion besides the deacon, but they only ask how it is from the outside.

"Next time, I'll snap your right arm"

"I understand! I'll tell you, I'll tell you, please stop already!

When I proclaimed that in a ruthless voice, the Deacon observed.

"It's the Hamilton Fortress they're based on right now. Naturally, the King's Capital also has a building for the Third Knights, but if it works in secrecy, it must be a fortress."

When I heard the answer, I let go.

"You interrupted."

"Are you going to get in the fortress? That's humanity's strongest defensive base. It's not sanity."

"It would be the other way around. It's your behavior that's not sane."

You have to make them understand that.

I transferred to the Hamilton Fortress.
