Just when everything was heating up, another treasure flew out of the treasured cauldron.

'Plooooof.'

This time it flew across everyone and landed on the floor.

Everyone looked into the direction where the treasure landed and saw what it actually was--it was a dagger and, like the first treasure that came out, it didn't look ordinary.

Teng Hu, who was the nearest one to the weapon, quickly jumped towards the dagger and grabbed the obvious treasure.

"Ho ho, if it isn't my lucky day," he jested. "What a fine dagger!"

The Black Shadow group who had specialized in assassination had plenty of members using dagger--and Teng Hu was apparently one of them. So his looted weapon was indeed like hitting a jackpot.

"Don't tell me you scumbags have been here waiting around the cauldron and have gotten to a lot of treasures already?" Teng Hu sarcastically asked the Purple Mist Sect disciples realizing that the huge cauldron in front of them was out of ordinary.

"So what if we have," one of the sect disciples replied.

"Ho ho," Teng Hu chuckled. "I wonder how many treasures can that cauldron spit?"

"Are you guys gonna stay here for as long as that cauldron throws out a treasure?" Mo Shui asked the disciples, breaking the intensity that Teng Hu started.

The sect disciples looked at each other, not wanting to answer a thing. Although in truth, they didn't have any other plan than wait after the initial plan of taking the entire huge cauldron away failed.

"If that cauldron contains as much as we all hoped so, this place would be filled with cultivators long before that thing ran out of treasures," Hao Ren remarked.

The sect disciples realized what Hao Ren meant.

Now that the Black Shadow and Mo Clan were present, things were getting a bit complicated for the sect--out of respect to the Mo Clan, they didn't want to get rid of them. But it would be even more chaotic if the rest of the participants would also discover the location of the cauldron--but then the Purple Mist Sect had no other way to secure place or the cauldron.

"What do you suggest then?" Duan Mu asked.

'Plooooof.'

Before anyone answered the question, another treasure flew off. But this time it flew away far from everyone--and it went right in front of place where Qai was hiding.

When everyone was about to run over the treasure, a cultivator all of a sudden appeared and picked it up. It was Qai--and what he got was a skill scroll.

Qai looked into the scroll and pondered at what kind of skill it was. It was actually a sage grade unique class scroll called 'Hawkeye.'

The skill was as a matter of fact an eye technique. When learned, the sage cultivator would have to ability to make his eyesight focus on the target even from a mile apart--it was perfect for long range skills especially that of archery.

Before everyone could see what it was, Qai immediately placed it inside his spatial ring. Then he quickly communicated with Shandian to motion to Shu Liang not to show themselves. Their origanal plan was to rob Teng Hu in the first place--so Qai would eventually jeopardize everything should his big sister and his black tiger appear as well.

***************

"Hello," Qai greeted everyone.

The Mo Clan members couldn't contain their surprise seeing Qai. Their faces were showing some glimpse of excitement--obviously, with Qai's cunning tricks, their hopes of getting a share from the treasures grew a bit larger.

"Who might you be?" It was Teng Hu who asked. It was actually the first time he noticed Qai. He didn't even have the slightest idea it was Qai who killed his companion.

"I am a nobody," Qai quickly answered. "But I heard your predicament.. so I may have a good suggestion."

"Eh."

Everyone was starting to look at each other ready to attack Qai, but all of them was dumbfounded by his words. They couldn't help but wonder what could be his suggestion.

"If your next words are useless, I will turn you into pieces.. so better scram if you don't want to get hurt," Duan Mu arrogantly said who at once released his half-step sage aura.

Qai didn't show any fear before the Purple Mist Sect disciples. He instead went even closer.

He activated his 'Flash' skill and appeared right in front Duan Mu with a flare. All the Purple Sect disciples and members of the Black Shadow were taken aback by Qai's Lightning skill.

"I'm afraid I may have a chance to escape before you can even turn me into pieces," Qai softly but fearlessly said.
