Evelina’s lips fell the moment he bit her lips, as the kiss seemed to be too long to be rational.

“Will you do as I say?”

Gazing at Evelina’s lips, he sighed softly and said.

“Aren’t I enough family for Lina?”

“If it were me, yes. But that’s not the case for our children. They need grandmas and aunts.”

At her words, Kaiden seemed to agonize for a moment. Then he frowned as if he was dissatisfied with her words. Soon, he leaned back on her thighs.

“Please pat my head more. I’ll do that when I feel better.”

Evelina didn’t know that he was doing this to use her.

It was really weird. She was terrified and had a hard time thinking when he scared her. But when he was friendly to her, her head eventually got cold.

“Show me your eyes, Kaiden.”

Her words raised his downward gaze and looked at her again. Evelina touched his chin with her hand patting his head.

“Ugh…”

After that, he came closer and held her chair. Evelina closed her eyes involuntarily as he approached her as if he were about to kiss her.

His lips were close enough to reach, and his breath made the fluffy hairs on her cheeks stand, but his lips couldn’t.

When Evelina opened her eyes, she saw a beast waiting for her with an affable expression.

“Why not?”

“I think you’re afraid.”

She said with a smile, recalling what he expected from her.

“I was just looking forward to… Ugh…”

His arms stretched out into the chair locking her body like bars. Evelina accepted his invasion, thinking she couldn’t run away. Looking at his thick arms, his neck-like cry, and his large body.

The rumbling of her ears should have adapted by now, but she couldn’t every time she kissed him.

She’d rather adapt at once, and accept this little kiss as if it was nothing. But she couldn’t as her body bothered her in a new way every time they kissed, let alone adapted.

The prevailing teasing remained. However, the act of coveting inside was not the same every time as the way of domination changes. Evelina held her breath, feeling that he was pressing his lower teeth with his tongue, and soon entangled again.

The moment she forgot to breathe and gasped, he was touching her earlobe. She seemed to have a fever with tickle and  the movement of the beast craving her mouth.

– Knock knock.

“Your Majesty, it’s time for the meeting.”

Evelina was relieved by the voice of an aide speaking outside the door. She thought she would forget everything if she stayed with him more like this way.

“I don’t want to go.”

As soon as he took off his lips, Evelina said, calming her nervous and throbbing chest.

“But you have to go.”

“Can’t you tell me not to go?”

“I want to see you in the evening.”

When she looked into her eyes as if he meant it, she avoided her eyes.

“Can I finish it after I get back?”

“…Yes.”

At her words he said while caressing through Evelina’s wet lips.

“I’ll be back.”

“Yes…”

When he left, Evelina realized that he had been in her office for half an hour, not ten minutes.

“Hans?”

Evelina said in surprise when she saw the doctor who came to her room for a check up in the afternoon.

“Lady Evelina!”

As much as she was surprised, a doctor named Hans was looking at her as if he were surprised.

“Why are you here…”

“This time, His Majesty sent me to be in charge of Your Majesty the Queen!”

At those words, Evelina was a quite relieved. Hans is a man with a deep connection with her. They had been together since she became the daughter of a marquis and started living as a real Evelina.

Hans Revive was the second son of the Revive baronet, and the Revive baronet was the doctor of the family of the Marquis of Logias. They had doctors for generations.

Therefore, he had seen Evelina since her childhood, and he often played with her in her mansion.

“I heard that Ianathas can’t sleep well these days.”

When Hans realized that there was no one around him, he whispered to her ear.

“You can talk comfortably because the door is closed. The sound doesn’t go out unless you shout.”

“Oh, really?”

“Yes.”

Then he said with a big smile.

“What about sleeping? Heart medicine?”

“You must have gotten a prescription before you came here.”

“I have it, but I have to check with you, too. Do I trust the people of the palace?”

At Hans’s words, Evelina nodded.

“Ianathas is worried every time.”

“I’m right there in front of you. Call me if you want to talk.”

“It’ll be annoying. I’ll nag just by looking at you being exhausted.”

Evelina thought Ianathas and Hans were closer than her. Originally, Hans was a great doctor and often went out to the battlefield. This time, when Ianathas returned, they came back together.

“The heart medicine you took has changed a little.”

“How has it changed?”

Evelina recalled the suspicious red pill that she took every day. It was almost like what she used to take at the main mansion, but it was clearly different. Rather, she doubted that taking the medicine would gradually kill her.

“It’s almost the same. But it took a lot of iron.”

“What’s the difference?”

“There’s not much difference. You had a lot of anemia, but it turned out well.”

Evelina didn’t seem to know much about the medicine she was taking. She walked to the bed and opened the desk drawer next to it. Then he took out two red pills from the box and took them to him.

“Please look into this medicine.”

“Is this the heart medicine you take?”

“Yes.”

Then he held the pill with his thumb and index finger, turned it around, and lit it in the chandelier light.

“It’s the same on the outside.”

“Please analyze the ingredients. Because it’s weird.”

“Yes, I will.”

“And prescribe a lot of sleeping pills too. I can’t sleep.”

Evelina thought that the reason for disturbing her sleep was because of Kaiden. Although there were psychological problems. The sound of his heart was loud that she thought the problem was her body, which willingly moved even though there was no love at all. Yet she craved every time he touched her. How do you sleep in such a threatening situation?

“Sleep pills wouldn’t be good.”

“I couldn’t sleep. Almost every day since I’ve come to the palace.”

She sighed and said, and Hans answered after contemplating.

“If you decide, take only one pill a day,”

“Yes, I will.”

As soon as his words fell, Evelina spoke as if she swore. It seemed that if she fell asleep rather deeply, she wouldn’t have a strange hope that if she slept with Kaiden. Her sleeplessness would be a little less.

“Ah, do you want me to prescribe folic acid, too?”

“Why?”

“It’s easy to get pregnant.”

She laughed bitterly at Hans’s words. Then he answered.

“Yes.”

So she was diagnosed by Hans.

“I think the schedule for the tournament and the hunting competition will overlap.”

“Oh, really?”

Evelina spoke with a bright smile at Kaiden’s words. She thought it would be annoying if the two of them opened separately. The designated time was ambiguous.

“Yes. Do you have any furs you would like to have?”

She had changed into a negligee in advance. Fearing that he would offer to wash it again, she did it beforehand and left it to dry.

“I want a wolf-hair cape.”

She actually hated hunting itself, but she said so to be seemed as a normal aristocrat.

“What color do you like?”

“Gray.”

Then he said, stroking Evelina’s cheek.

“White would be better for Lina than gray.”

“White, then.”

“I see.”

Evelina knew why he was asking this. Kaiden would win the hunting contest anyway. He is an excellent swordsman, gunman, and an excellent hunter. He is a psychopath, so hunting humans was a problem because it was like hunting animals.

“I’ll hurry and wash up. Please wait a moment.”

“Yes.”

Evelina went to bed first, feeling fortunate that he was late today. Then less than half an hour later, he washed up and came out. After wiping off almost all the water.

“Shall we go to bed now?”

Evelina was bothered by the open bathrobe he wore, showing his chest. But She looked at him with a smile as if she didn’t care.

“Sure.”

After wiping off the water, Kaiden came near her. Evelina was sitting in bed reading a book when he closed it and sat next to her, placing it on the table.

Evelina unwittingly strained her back. Because he stretched out his arms and hugged her waist.

“Lina.”

“What?”

Evelina opened her eyes softly, wondering if he was going to kiss her, which he hadn’t been able to do during the day.

“Do you really want to get along with grandmother and Elsius?”

When she was asked by him, Evelina almost vented her heart. Who wants to get along with such humans? But she hid it quickly and responded rationally.

“Yes, of course. Our children will need a family.”

Then he sighed softly and said,

“I see. Then I will release Elsius from custody and collect the punishment of my grandmother. Will that do?”

“Yes, I love it.”

She said so and laughed. Then he did.

– jjok

She kissed her on the cheek.

“Have a good dream, Lina.”

Then she kissed her eyes, too.

Evelina knew that he would come by her side. But the bed didn’t feel like it was moving, so she tried to come to her senses.

“Kaiden?”

Kaiden was heading to the sofa, not the bed.

“Are you going to sleep there?”

When she said so in embarrassment, Kaiden was moving the cushion as if she were sitting on a sofa.

“I’d better do this if I don’t want to feel threatened.”

He said that and smiled at Evelina.
