The Mafia's Queen: Entangled With A Psycho.

Chapter 95 - Ninety Four: Agreed?

" Where are we going this time?" Leo fastened his seatbelt, holding on to the steering wheel as he turned to look at Becca sitting next to him.

Her forehead wrinkled as she tried to think of a suitable place to eat at but the only one that kept popping up in her head was her favorite restaurant.

" Let's go to the place we ate at the first time," Becca answered, and Leo's brows furrowed.

" The place you drove forty-five minutes to?" Leo asked to confirm and Becca bit the inside of her cheek before nodding.

" Okay." Leo didn't ask any further questions about it and started his car. He knew that place was important to her for some reason but didn't question her any further. He had learned his lesson from last time and though they were way closer than before, he still didn't want her going all icy on him. He would let her tell him when she was ready too.

Once they get to the restaurant, Leo got out of the car and helped Becca out as well. The place wasn't so packed compared to the last time they were both here together.

Becca scouted the place for a nice table, and as soon as she found one, without warning, she pulled Leo towards it with a huge smile on her face.

They took their seats, facing each other and Leo noticed how much Becca had been smiling since they got there. She didn't smile this much at the last restaurant he took her to.

Becca smiled with glee as she skimmed through the menu, trying to choose among the food listed, not for herself though— she already knew what she wanted to order— but for Leo. The last time he was here, he didn't do too well in ordering for himself.

Becca signaled the waiter to come over after deciding and placed their orders.

" You really seem to like this place," Leo noted. " You didn't smile this much on our last dinner date," Leo said, leaning back on his chair.

Unlike before, Becca didn't enter defense mode on hearing Leo comment about her attachment to this place. She wasn't pissed, not even a bit. Instead, she smiled at him.

" I do." Came her response and Leo smiled.

" Yeah, I now see why. It's a nice place, lively too." Leo looked around the place and had to admit that it wasn't so bad. Though it was different, nothing like the fancy high call restaurants he was used to but still kinda nice. The sounds of people seated at the other tables, mostly couples, having peaceful happy conversations gave it an extra touch. Plus Becca liked the place so it was okay with him.

Becca didn't know if she could smile any wider but she did once their food arrived. She grinned, watching the waiter deliver and serve the plates full of delightful food on their table, and quickly picked up her cutlery, ready to dig in but paused when she saw Leo wasn't even touching his food.

" What's wrong? Don't you like the food?" Becca asked, noticing Leo was doing nothing but staring at her.

" What you ordered for me isn't what I want to eat." Leo's lips curved up seductively but Becca didn't quite catch the meaning of his words.

" We can order something else, what do you want to eat?" Becca asked innocently, completely unaware of the shameless thoughts that were parading in his head.

" You, my love," Leo said, leaning closer to her. " I want to eat you." He whispered and a blush slithered its way to her cheeks and he smirked.

Why does he have such a dirty mouth? And most especially, why was it so hot? Becca asked herself as she blinked, inhaling and exhaling to calm down from Leo's attack.

" So indulge me," Becca responded to sound bold and Leo's smirk widened.

" Soon." Leo brushed the strands of hair away from her face.

Becca didn't even know what was sexier at this point, the way Leo said he was going to eat her or the fact that he was going to do it but all she knew was she couldn't wait for him to do so.

She decided to let Leo keep staring at her, ignoring him, and started devouring her meal with a smile. She felt like she had everything good the world could offer her. She had a prospering business, a loving family, and a man that adored her from the hair on her head to the tip of her toes. Everything was perfect, just perfect, well except for—.

Becca looked up from her plate and her eyes met Leo's that were fixed on her, remembering the story of his parents that he shared with her yesterday and her smile swayed a bit.

She planned to ask him to tell her more tonight but wondered if he would be as hesitant as he was before.

She stared at him, the smile on his face now as he stared back at her contrasted with the look he had on last night. His experience must have been tough, and she couldn't imagine herself going through the same thing Leo did.

Domestic violence between parents could leave children scarred or even worst. Leo was lucky it didn't influence him negatively.

But what she didn't know was that it did. It fucked him up in more ways than one.

She put down her cutlery, unable to eat anymore. Literally. She was so full that if she tried to eat any more, she would explode. It was one of the reasons why she loved this place, their food portions were king-sized.

Becca leaned back on her chair, her hand on her stomach as she exhaled through her mouth.

Leo saw what she was doing and chuckled.

" What's wrong, can't have anymore?" He teased and Becca shot him one of her famous kitten glares.

" Look who's talking, Mr. Six cups of ice cream." Becca retorted and rolled her eyes at him, only for him to crack up again.

" You are so cute, my love." Leo couldn't take it anymore, Becca was just too adorable for her own good. Even when she acted sassy and angry, she would still end up being cute. "

So what should we do with the rest of the day?"

" I don't know, you were the one who suggested we skip work," Becca responded lazily, still breathing through her mouth.

" Then we better use the time wisely. Tell me more about yourself, something you know I'm not aware of." Leo said and Becca raised a brow.

" Why? Didn't stalking me before give you more than enough information?" Becca joked.

" Don't look at it as stalking. Instead, see it as research. I was simply educating myself on a topic that means the world to me. You." Leo justified his actions and Becca couldn't help feeling amused by it.

" Fine, but on one condition."

" Which is?" Leo grinned, eager that Becca was thinking about telling him more about herself.

" It would be an exchange of knowledge. I will tell you about my past and you tell me about yours. Agreed?" Becca laid down her condition, watching Leo's facial expression carefully to see if she would catch anything but didn't. He just sat there grinning at her. He didn't even look apprehensive, not one bit. Why was he so different all of the sudden? Becca asked herself, her mind full of different questions.

Leo, on the other hand, couldn't be happier than he was now. His Becca was going to let him in on her secret. She was going to tell him, she was finally going to let him in. He was so excited that he might or might not have brushed her condition aside. He stopped listening after he heard her say the word ' fine'. But who could blame him, he was a man who Cupid accidentally shot with an overdosed love arrow. To him, Becca's other words didn't matter. All that mattered was she agreed to tell him.

" Agreed." He answered, not knowing what the fuck he was agreeing to. Not even caring to know. " I'm all ears." Literally.

Becca saw the eager look on his face and smiled. If it was before, hell if it had been anyone else, she wouldn't have even agreed to this. To open up but with this man in front of her, she felt safe, loved. Cared for.

She had already given herself to him and if showing him her deepest scar would get him to show her his then she was willing to do so. She had already opened up the place she closed for years, her heart. She had already let him so sharing her past with him was expected, right?

She took a deep breath and exhaled, her palms growing colder by the second but luckily the loving smile on Leo's face helped come down her nerves.

" You don't have to tell me now if you are not ready," Leo said, seeing how nervous she was becoming, and took her hand in his, staring straight into her eyes.

" No, I want to do this." Becca shook her head lightly.. She had already made up her mind and wanted to stick to her resolve, Leo's sweet words and gestures were just what she needed to motivate her.
