Leo Kane sat in the VIP lounge of the club with a Moody and bemused expression on his face that had his associates exchanging worried looks as they prayed he wasn't as displeased as he looked now because when Leo Kane was displeased, things never ended well. Especially for those who made the useless mistake of offending him.

He was currently having a business meeting with some foreign dealers whose names he couldn't even recall, all he knew was whatever they were saying now wasn't worth his attention at all.

Not in the slightest.

He wasn't there for jokes but to confirm a purchase he made from them. He had paid for some special goods to be shipped into the country and because those goods weren't exactly legal but contrabands, he had to pay extra money to have them smuggled into the states. They had already discussed the price and Leo Kane did well to pay it to them instantly as he was in urgent need of the supplies and knowing their agency, he was sure they would deliver.

But the problem was after agreeing to pay the heinous amount they had charged, they still wanted to push their luck and see how much money they could still get out of him. They probably thought that he was just another rich man's son who was given too much money than he could ever manage. Thinking they had stroke gold and wanted to take advantage of the situation, they started demanding more cash from him even when the goods hadn't crossed the border yet.

But they had no idea that their first mistake was thinking they could easily dupe Leo Kane, someone who climbed to the top of the ladder of success not just by his hard work but also by cheating and stepping on people beneath him. He had tricked and lied his way to the place he was now, so he knew their gameplay. A cheater would always know a cheater.

He knew they wanted to extort more money from him but also couldn't blame them. They had seen a living breathing ATM and wanted to withdraw some more. Seeing as the last time they had met Leo Kane, he was able to agree to their price without hesitation, the opportunity to rip him off was too tempting to resist.

It was truly funny how they thought they could put their heads together just to cheat him. Men twice his age who had nothing better to do than to swindle him. They must have thought it would be like taking candy from a child but Leo Kane was no child, at least not with all the things he knew.

Ha! He laughed in his mind but didn't show his amusement because he wanted them to finish making a fool of themselves, it was entertaining to watch.

Soon after that, he sat with an uninterested expression on his face, slowing dying of boredom as he contemplated whether he should just end their miserable lives already and call it a night. As it seemed they didn't like living for them to try to cheat a mafia and a sober one at that. Foolish people! The only thing stopping him from shooting them dead right now wasn't the fact that they were in a public place. No, he would have given them all headshots without batting an eye, but it was because he had forgotten his special gun.

It was truly funny how he had a particular gun he used to deal with morons like them and he had forgotten it at home, of all times!

'Fuck! Why?!' He cussed within himself as he continued to grim at the meatbags in front of him.

He looked at his wristwatch, correction, he glared at his wristwatch and seeing that they still had about one hour to either convince him, even more, to slice their throats or say something that would at least allow them to live to see tomorrow morning. Just then, at that exact moment, something intrigued him or should he say, someone.

Leo found himself a distraction, a really beautiful one at that. Soon he found himself intently staring at her, not even caring about the people he was supposed to be currently having a meeting with or whether they were offended by his lack of attention in them. It didn't matter though, they would soon die in his hands anyway, just as soon as he gets his hands on his gun then he could get into some action but for now, he wanted to keep looking at his beautiful distraction.

'Who is this woman?' He asked himself as he continued to gaze at her and where she sat at the lower lounge, amongst the peasants. Her skin glowing under the dim lights of the club and her hair... Well her hair was a thing for the future generation to admire, dark as night just like his. She was facing another woman who he guessed was her friend so he could only see one side of her face and to him, it was one heck of a side view. As beautiful as her entire face would be and it got him thinking; was she even a real person? Why was she so hot? It probably was the alcohol affecting his system because he didn't seem to be seeing a woman but a goddess.

Leo was now low-key ogling at her, looking like a fat kid staring at a slice of chocolate cake and wanted to facepalm himself but was still hopelessly staring at his newly found 'distraction' like she was the only one in the club, make that the world.

'It's probably the alcohol.' he tried to reason why he was staring at the woman like that as it seemed his eyes had a mind of their own.

He didn't know what but something was pushing him to her.

Still in his little bubble, admiring her exquisite beauty which looked so goddamn alluring in that black dress. Then his gaze swept across her luscious body and started undressing her with his lustful eyes.

'Don't look at her boobs! Don't look at her boobs! Don't!' Was the mantra he kept chanting in his head but his body was weak and his treacherous eyes didn't want to behave themselves tonight. He had never ogled at a woman like that before, talk more of one who he could barely see her whole face.
