The Mafia's Queen: Entangled With A Psycho.

Chapter 57 - Fifty Six: Obsession

Leo stood by his window, staring at Becca through it with a cup of coffee in his hand, dressed just sweatpants and no form of garment covering his upper body.

His chest left naked and exposed for the world to marvel upon as he just stood there looking like a mortal soul in the body of a god.

A big fond smile playing on his lips as he watched Becca sitting on her bed with her laptop on her laps, typing only God knows what on it.

He took a sip from his cup, the smile on his face looking both radiating and devilish as the same time as he kept enjoying the beautiful sight in front of him.

Though Leo now lived extremely close to her, he still had his men follow her around, keeping tabs on her. He wanted to know everything that happened to her, he needed to know.

These past weeks he had spent abstinening from being with Becca only made him want her even, so much that it almost drove him completely insane. Almost though.

He had thought of nothing but her, literally single second of the day was invested into thinking about her. Images of her smiling up at him invaded his mind, fucking breaking his focus every time.

Not that he was against it, his focus was hers to break anyway.

Still staring out the window, Leo's mind drifted back to what happened two hours ago, her calls and it made his smiled faltered.

He heard his phone ring, seen her name pop up on it but didn't answer. He forced himself not to.

It had been extremely hard to do it, so difficult that he had to get up and leave the room to prevent himself from falling into the temptation. To resist the burning urge inside him, the urge that was pushing him to answer it in the first place.

' But it wasn't the time yet.'

Leo kept chanting in his head and indeed wasn't. It wasn't the right time yet to approach her, he shouldn't have even approached her at the wedding but he couldn't help himself. He couldn't resist.

There was still a little more work to be done, still a little more chipping he had to do before everything was perfect. But it wouldn't take long though, from the progress he had made on his plans concerning Becca, he was sure he wouldn't have to wait anymore soon.

Then the memory of what Becca did last night flashed through his mind, and along with it a smile.

He had no idea his little kitten had become so naughty, but part of him loved it. He loved this more womanly side of her. He liked that he was the one who made her feel that way, he liked how his presence affected her.

It was satisfying but not as satisfying as the results he had been getting, the results Becca had been giving him.

It was exhilarating, the feeling of one's plans falling into place.

That was exactly what Leo felt at the moment, a sense of accomplishment now he knew his efforts haven't gone to waste, that he was succeeding.

Leo had taken time to study Becca, the way her mind worked and processed things. He knew her.

Even when they were still kids, Leo had noticed the pattern her brain followed. Repetitive. Opposite. A little twisted but nowhere as messed up as his.

Becca wasn't like the other women Leo had met. No, she was different. Special. There was this thing about her that attracted him to her, like a moth to flames. There was this connection he felt with her, the undisputable surge of energy that coursed through him when he was around her.

The urge to be around her and hold her, it was so strong that he found himself loving everything about her. From the way she walked, the way she carried herself with pride, to the way she spoke.

Her voice was something he wanted to listen to for the rest of his life and that sweet mouth of hers, well, that was something he wanted to do unspeakable things to.

Everything about her was just so perfect, it was like she was tailored specifically for him.

This made Leo want to be greedy and selfish even, not that he wasn't already, he just wanted her all to himself. He wanted her to be only his, to be as obsessed with him as he was with her because let's face it, one sided love isn't fun for anyone.

It was annoying and frustrating and Leo didn't want that to become of his beautifully blooming relationship with Becca. He wanted the feelings to be mutual, obsessive but mutual.

And for that to happen, he needed Becca to crave him with every fiber of her body, to lust for him and his presence. To want his touch on her and Leo, being the devious cunning man he was, decided to make it happen.

The space he was giving her, the gifts, they all had a purpose. The gifts were to tell her he was there, waiting. Making her realize that she mattered to him and letting her know that he was still out there watching over her. That he didn't leave her, he still loved her.

They were just to get her attention, to remind her he was still there so she would never forget.

The space was make her realize what she felt for him, to make her accept it and stop trying to run away from it. To make her realize how much she truly desired him.

Giving her space was first and biggest step he took in his plan. The hardest one as well. Same one that almost deprived him of his complete sanity.

Becca had deep affection towards Leo, she loved him but was still denying herself of that ecstatic feeling of being in love, of being loved but that was where Leo part came in.

His job was to teach her all about the feelings that bubbled inside her for him and to guide deeper into it. To make her even more obsessed, as much as he already was.

To make her explore the side of her that she didn't dare tread before until he opened the door for her. To do it while she thought of only him. Her obsession.

In Leo's head, this was the best thing he could have ever done for Becca. It was the little nudge, the light push she needed to unlock her deepest innermost desires. It was an opportunity for her to let go of the hurt and guilt from the past and embrace love. His love.

You might ask what happened to conventional wooing? Well, Leo called bullshit. It would never work on Becca, a person didn't even allow herself to let go of the hurt she felt from the past. It would just be a waste of time.

A step forward then three steps back. That was how their relationship moved in the past and would have still remained the same if Leo hadn't switched things up. He would have died of frustration by now with the way her conflicted feelings were standing in the way the growth and progress of the visible affection they obviously had for each other. But despite that, Leo didn't want to give up on her.

There were different ways of approaching different people. Becca was different in a special way, that was why Leo took extra care when it came to her and chose this approach instead. It was more effective.

One only realized the true value of what they have when they lose it.

That was exactly what Becca was experiencing now, or at least what Leo made her think she was experiencing.

To him, he was doing her a favor, he was was helping her realize what she badly wanted, what she needed. Becoming her little dark fantasy, his absence made her needy for him and though what happened last night wasn't planned, it still worked out to his advantage.

The things he was doing might look simple and seemed like a harmless little nudge but in reality it was much darker than that. It was much more twisted as well.

In reality, Leo was toying with Becca's rationality, messing up her mind. He was mindfucking her into accepting that she desired him as well. And last night wasn't just about him missing her, it was another psychological battle that he, again, won.

It worked.

He made sure of it.

He messed up her mind so when the time came, when they meet again as his dark promise said, she would be ready for him, wanting him.

And Becca had fallen into his trap like moth to flames. The results she gave him were just the ones he needed.

Now consciously and even unconsciously, Becca would always associate him with desire. She would always crave him even if he was the last person she wanted.

Leo sipped the remaining coffee in his cup and glanced at Becca again through the window, the smile on his face still as bright as ever. His plans were so close to becoming a reality, his Becca was coming out of the protective barriers of walls she built around herself and was now waiting for him to return to her.

And soon the little stunt she pulled off last night, her little attempt to pleasure herself would be nothing compared to what he was going to give her when he had her in his clutches.

Leo then walked back into his bedroom, took a shower, a cold one. The wicked thoughts he was having of Becca earlier made a certain part of him come alive and now he needed to cool himself off before heading out.

His little kitten wasn't just naughty but also after his soul, as though torturing him last night with her tears and masturbating wasn't enough, now even the mere thought of her made his cock twitch.

And with the way she was always on his mind, Leo had already gotten used to having extremely cold shower but wasn't bothered, he wouldn't need those soon enough. It was just a matter of time.

Monday evening...

Becca sat in her car, driving back home after spending long hours at the office. Her back hurt from exhaustion as she fought hard to keep her eyes open. She was driving, closing her eyes or falling asleep would be the death of her.

Knowing how the roads of New York were, Becca chose to follow another route home. One with less traffic jams and sounds of frustrated drivers honking.

Though the new route she found had a farther distance from her house, Becca felt a stray kitten that just got run over by a truck and knew that waiting in a traffic jammed road would definitely take much longer so she stuck with her choice. She was in desperate need of her bed and wasn't in the mood to wait for people to move their stupid cars.

Right now she was more than capable of biting whoever tried to stop her from getting home on time.

While driving on the new route she had chosen, Becca noticed how lonely the road had become. She barely saw any vehicles, making her car the only one in the entire deserted road.

The street felt eerie with not a single soul on it but Becca, who felt a little creeped out by the loneliness of the place but still kept driving. She had to, she was too tired and badly needed to get home.

Then after driving the same road for a few more minutes, Becca sighted a vehicle up ahead and heaved a sigh of relief and felt a little less tensed about driving on a deserted road at night.

Still minding her own business, Becca kept driving until she saw the vehicle in front hers stop and a man came out of it, stood in the middle of the road while waving his hands in the air, signalling her to stop as well.

She noticed what the man was doing and frowned, the thought of just running him over and going on her own merry way crossed her mind but she quickly pushed it aside. She reached where the man stood and stopped her car, ignoring the little argument the angel and demon on her shoulders were having about whether she should just smash the guy and go or not.

Her grip on her steering wheel tightened in frustration, wondering what the man on the road could possibly want from her at such late hour and missed what the man did next.

How the man stopped waving his hands and reached into his back pocket as though he wanted to pull something out of it, keeping his hand in that position as he walked closer to Becca's driver's seat window.
