The Journey of the Overlord

The Overlord's Journey Chapter 229.

"When will I be able to buy one of these, I really want one."

"Liantaro, go back and buy me one too."

Yenzu demanded to Rentachiro.

"No way, we don't have the spare money to buy something like that."

Lientaro directly rejected Yeonju's request.

"How stingy of Liantaro!"

"It's not a question of being petty, it's a question of being totally unnecessary!"

Liantaro retorted with his hands cupping his waist.

"We can't even afford to eat meat on a regular basis, so how can we have the money to buy such things for fun!"

"Che~~"

Yeonjoo could only cut a cry of displeasure and then remain silent.

But the silent Yeon Joo did notice a roar approaching.

Everyone else heard the roar as well.

Turning to look, they found a tank and an armored vehicle approaching at the end of the road, and the roar was coming from the tank.

"Liantaro, isn't that the armored car that was just there? And there are tanks?"

Yenzu walked up to Rentachi's side and tugged on Rentachi's arm to ask questions.

"Yes, the armored car that was just there, but that tank... Is it meant to be?"

Liantaro unconsciously looked over to Az-Dakha and noticed that the pair was still looking at Orpheus instead of the armored car and the tank behind it.

"Does that mean they're going to use the tanks against here?"

Liantaro cried out in surprise.

"What! Tanks against here!"

Matsuzaki followed with a surprised cry.

"Quick! Kids! Get in there! Hurry up and get in there! Or you'll get hit by a shell!"

Matsuzaki, who is related to the children, immediately urges the loli to enter the sewers.

But there were too many of them, so they had to come in one by one, and it would take quite a while for them all to enter.

However, the tank didn't seem to be waiting for all the Lori to go down, and from a distance, it stopped and moved its gun barrel to aim at the center of Az-Dakha's back.

"He's firing! Everyone, get out of the way!"

Liantaro shouted, but it was too late to dodge.

Flames erupted from the muzzle of a tank in the distance, a shell flew out, and then voices were heard.

"It's too late!"

Liantaro shouted and at the same time threw Yanju down on the ground.

But the shell hitting Aziz Dakaha didn't happen.

Az Dakaha turned around with great speed and raised his right hand.

The long shell hit Az Dakaha directly in the palm of his hand, then compressed together into a grinning discus, then fell from his hand to the ground.

Clang-.

"Open .... Just kidding!"

Liantaro saw the discus falling to the ground and stared at it.

Then he saw a black line stretching out from the ground, cutting up in an instant, and the tank in the distance flew up into the sky before being cut in half.

Chapter 7: Disaster is Coming

A tank, an armored car, was cut open right in front of Rintaro's gaze, along with the soldiers in the middle of it.

It was far away, but Rintaro could faintly see parts of the bodies falling out of the vehicle.

The loli who panicked and dodged into the sewers didn't see this, as they were still afraid that the tank would attack again.

Rintaro slowly stood up and watched as the black shadows on the ground quickly retracted all the way back to Az-Dakha's feet.

"Is this what killed those two cops, Shadow? ...."

Rintaro's expression looked terrified as he looked at the retrieved Shadow of the Dragon, for this was the thing that had sliced those two cops in half, and had just even sliced open a tank.

After retrieving the Dragon's Remnant, Az-Dakha moved to slowly approach the wreckage of the tank without even looking at Liantaro like that.

"Wait! What are you going to do!"

Liantaro couldn't help but voice his question.

Az-Dakaha didn't answer him, still walking forward, and Orpheus took two steps on the ground, jumping up and doing a straight butt to Az-Dakaha's shoulder.

"What are you going to do!"

Liantaro pursued again, but Az-Dakha still didn't answer him, but quietly walked away.

Rintaro didn't dare to chase after it, because he was afraid of that shadow, that speed was too fast for him to react, and an existence that even a tank could cut through was not something he could resist.

"Nah, Liantaro, just now..."

Bluebara Yanju took Rentachi's arm and asked Rentachi about what had just happened.

"Yanju, I think I have a very difficult decision to make right now."

"Huh?"

"I think I'm going to arrest him, just like the military asked me to."

Liantaro spoke his mind.

"What? Arrests? Why the arrest? He's a good man."

"It's not a matter of being a nice guy or a bad guy, he killed someone, and more than one!"
