31. Her Dream Didn’t Come True

Translator: Jackson

So there was a hole in her heart. When she was further away from her dream, what was flowing in the hole was not blood, but lethal poison!

Jiang Yayan widened his eyes. ‘This ugly girl has the guts to retort!’

The students and the teacher were also astounded. Jiang Yayan didn’t allow her to play, so she could only leave obediently. He didn’t need a single reason to make any decisions and whatever he did was all right!

Standing in front of her, he mocked with his eyes wide open said word by word, “Because I also want to play this piano. I don’t want to see it get dirty.”

‘Just because I am dirty?’

Huo Xiu sat there in a daze. ‘Am I deprived of my dream for such an insignificant reason?’ She panted and clenched her hands tightly. She looked down silently. ‘Huo Xiu, you can’t give up like this. You must fight for it!’

Obviously, it was Jiang Yayan’s fault, but all the students and the teacher did not stop him. They were all afraid of him, and also they would like to see what would happen later!

She suddenly looked up and said firmly, “You don’t have the right to do this. I’m also a student here. I have the right to participate!” Huo Xiu retorted bravely. She couldn’t allow others to shatter her dream for such a trivial reason. She shouldn’t surrender!

All the people present looked at her in astonishment. They had thought she would run away. But to their surprise, she said that!

She was challenging Jiang Yayan. Was she crazy or stupid? But there was no doubt that she wanted to die!

Jiang Yayan was stunned. He raised his eyebrows, pulled his hands from his pocket and crossed them on his chest. “Say it again,” he said viciously, his eyes full of anger!

“You have no right!” Huo Xiu said again, trying to defend her dream!

The atmosphere in the music room instantly became tense, like a bomb about to explode. Everyone was anxious. They felt lucky that it wasn’t them who were standing on the stage against Mr. Jiang! Huo Xiu would be doomed. No one dared to offend him in this school. Even if he did wrong, you couldn’t say anything, much less protest.

Jiang Yayan held back his anger and sneered, “Oh? Sir, do you think I have the right?” He still stared at Huo Xiu like an eagle. ‘You are courting death!’

The piano teacher standing beside them, who did not intend to interfere, was stunned!

“Well, Huo Xiu, it seems our class is already at capacity!” He looked at her with embarrassment. “Why don’t you learn something else?”

Hearing this, Huo Xiu was like a shabby doll whose soul was removed. Her body was trembling. ‘The teacher doesn’t help me!’

“But, if I participate, will it really embarrass you? I can be the last one to play, and it won’t make any trouble for you. I really want to learn it… “She looked at him, hoping the teacher could change his mind!

The piano teacher was a little impatient. ‘It isn’t easy to talk her into giving up. As a teacher, I can’t refuse. She’s such a pain.’

“How about asking your classmates to cast votes? If they agree, you can stay. If not, there’s nothing I can do!” He cunningly let the students make the decision!

Huo Xiu felt upset. ‘They dislike me, so they are unlikely to agree. In the end, the dream is still a dream. Even if I am close to the destination, I won’t be able to touch it!’

“We think she is dirty. We don’t want her to stay!”

“If you are disrespectful to Mr. Jiang, you will be disrespectful to our school!”

“Get out of here! Don’t stain our piano!”

These words were like poisonous arrows, each stabbing her bones!

She thought that God would open a door for her when he closed a window. Even a small crack was still a gleam of hope. But what if there was neither a window nor a door?
