Chapter 29 Strange Elf

The villagers are not only anxious to rescue people, but also afraid of the sharks in the shallow sea area.

Charlie directly threw an arcane spell of ice, which froze the water around the victim before the villagers dared to enter the water.

They stood where the sea water was below their feet, threw out the iron hook tied with the rope, and pulled the big ice lump ashore.

The miracle is that there are no other marine life in the big ice mass except for the frozen half-human body.

Not to mention those small sharks, not even a shrimp can be seen.

Charlie was very puzzled by this.

Even if Bella Village now eats the flooded small sharks as its main meal, it is impossible to 'clear' this shallow water area in such a short time.

Now everyone is still afraid to go down to the sea water and waist level, which proves that the scourge of the little shark is far from being solved.

While Charlie was thinking, the villagers had rescued the victims from the sea ice.

That’s how it was, allowing Charlie to look carefully at the shipwreck mentioned in this vague mission.

Bending down, Charlie flicked away the shipwreck's brown-red hair that was sticking wetly to his fair cheeks.

As a result, he saw a pair of sharp ears that were very different from ordinary people.

   "Spirit, elf?!" Charlie exclaimed.

Dazed for three seconds, Charlie regained his composure. He didn't know if it was because of his rough nerves, or because she had developed a strong heart after "going through the wind and rain".

There is no one in the village who can practice medicine.

Moreover, for those pointed ears, the villagers were obviously unable to calm down by chattering.

Not everyone who sees a legendary race can have a 'big heart'.

Charlie yelled again, and the villagers had the courage to come up and help her carry the unconscious elf on the beach to the castle.

  …

Back to the castle, Charlie told Anne to take care of the sleeping elf in a guest room.

And she got into the study, moved the low ladder, and began to look for books related to elves among the books provided by the two arcane instructors.

It has to be said that the title of the learned man of the arcane instructor is not a bragging rights, Charlie searched and found several books that recorded elves.

One of them is a book similar to a history book.

  That book is very thick.

The thickness of a book alone is at least 40 centimeters. It took a lot of effort for Charlie to move it off the shelf.

Blowing off the dust on the book cover, Charlie carefully turned to the book catalog.

This book records countless glorious eras in this world.

Each era is named after one of the iconic historical events.

Among them, the era called the end of the elves is the name of the previous era 231 years ago.

As the name suggests, after that era, the elves withdrew from the stage of history.

Of course, they did not exterminate their clan, but sailed far away, fleeing to the unknown island where they escaped from the world, and no longer appear on the mainland that is the center of the historical stage.

As a result, it also left the vision of many intelligent creatures.

  231 years ago, what happened?

So much so that the elves, who had previously fought against the dragons, ended up sadly?

Flipping through the heavy books, each with thick kraft paper.

The unique smell of the cowhide roll was entering the nose as the pages were turned. Charlie turned his head to the side and couldn't help closing his eyes and sneezing.

When I turned my head, I just saw that the thick book had turned to the last page of the "End of the Elves" chapter.

Only a poem written by a bard is recorded above.

   O elves with harps,

They put down their golden harps.

  O elf-kings upon thrones,

   They took off their crowns,

   stepped down from the throne.

  Eastern sky,

  The rising sun is blocked.

  What is blinding the light?

That is the army of dragons,

  Is this a doomsday crisis?

The coalition of good and evil attacked the beautiful elves.

  This is not a campaign,

   This is Death's Carnival.

  Blood soaked the earth,

  The dragons are falling,

Tens of thousands of elves returned to Corellon's kingdom of God.

Oh! Gods, who can stop this doomsday killing?

It's him? !

  Legends of legends!

  Monarch of black gold!

   He stopped the war!

He saved the last trace of the elf's blood.

  Praise Black Gold!

   Praise the Immortal Prince!

He is the only real prince of the Dragon Clan,

he is,

  …

The last line of text was deleted, and Charlie was so curious.

It’s as if the story has reached the most critical point. As a result, the storyteller came to say, if you want to know what happened next, please listen to the next chapter to break it down.

   This is simply a trap!

Charlie did not give up, and carefully looked through the era of the end of the elves, but still did not find any clues about the disappearing name.

  ‘Knock knock—’

A light knock on the door interrupted Charlie's "forget about eating and sleeping".

She exhaled lightly, and closed the heavy book with a bang.

"Come in." Charlie pinched the corner of his eyes and said.

Annie pushed the door open, and the first sentence she said was, "Master! That, that Mr. Elf is awake!"

Charlie followed Annie to the room where the elves were arranged to live.

When I pushed the door and went in, I happened to see the elf who was able to get out of bed and walk, curiously 'studying' a small cluster of white wild flowers that Anne put in a vase in the room.

The dotted wildflowers are very much like the stars in Charlie's memory.

This is the only wildflower that can be found nearby.

Anne is quite persistent about such trivial matters in the "aristocratic style".

When Charlie came in, he happened to meet the wide amber eyes of the elf who suddenly turned his head.

The pupils of the elves are exceptionally clear, just like the legendary elves' beautiful character and noble soul.

Of course, if you can ignore the handful of white wild flowers that the elf is holding in his mouth before he can swallow it, then this is a 'shower', heh, the elf is very attractive.

It's a pity that Charlie is not young, but he is very curious about legendary creatures like elves.

The silent stare at each other was broken by a loud stomach grunt.

   '咕—'

Charlie's eyes moved from Elf Zhengtai's face to his abdomen a little bit.

"Annie, it's almost time, shouldn't you go prepare lunch?"

Anne is not easy, she has to take care of the comatose elf, build a strong castle, and cook three meals a day.

She is almost turning into a spinning top.

Also suddenly thought of Annie's busyness. Looking at this young girl silently doing ten maid jobs, Charlie's eyes softened.

"I'll go to Bella Village in a while and find two hardworking girls to help you share a part of the work."

Anne was flattered, and during this time, she became more and more in awe of the young earl.

Speaking is no longer as perfunctory and contemptuous as before. It can be said that the influence of the old countess has been completely erased.

  Lunch will be ready soon.

Fried golden marinated shark meat is a dish that will never be absent on the castle table.

The devil wolf meat reserve is enough for about a year. Although some are traded with the merchant group this time, they will faithfully accompany the shark meat for every meal.

Fortunately, the staple food has changed from the toothless stone scones to soft and fragrant toast.

The merchant group did not sell enough fruits and vegetables, because it is difficult to keep these things fresh unless they are pickled.

Charlie has ordered a batch of plant seeds with Hedson. Next month, when the business group visits again, she will be able to bring everyone in Bella Village to try soilless cultivation.

Annie's cooking skills are so-so. I don't know if the elves, who seem to be very difficult to feed, can adapt.

The castle really has no fruits and vegetables to provide to the rumored vegetarian elf, but seeing this hungry guest who ate all the flower arrangements in the vase, he probably wouldn't mind eating bread.

The two arcane instructors finally squandered the 'passion' they ignited, and ran to catch up on sleep when they were tired.

Only the seven members of the Knights appeared on the dining table, as well as the elf Zhengtai who was brought down by Charlie.

This elf is like a curious baby. He refuses to talk to Charlie, but looks around the castle curiously.

Like a curious kitten breaking into an unfamiliar environment, keeping vigilant but unable to restrain curiosity.

Sitting at the dining table, Charlie just wanted to introduce the elf victim who had just been 'salvaged' to the Knights.

Just look, a certain elf sitting on the guest seat is making a sound that doesn't seem like a humanoid creature will make a sound.

It was a high-pitched and somewhat sharp brisk cry.

It is similar to the sound that flying creatures make when they are excited.

Everyone looked at the elf guest with slight astonishment.

I saw him climb up the long banquet table of the castle regardless of etiquette, and went straight to the plate of unpopular Yanjin shark meat placed in the middle...

The handsome elf stretched his hands and five fingers to grab the shark meat as much as possible. He just squatted in front of the huge dinner plate and ate it side to side, like a wolf dog protecting food.

  Charlie: "…"

  Seven people: "..."

This, is it really an elf? !

   Thank you for your votes!
