163. A Troublemaker

Translator: Jackson

A quarter of an hour later, Zhang Yang and his subordinates were stunned.

At the young man’s foot lay the members of the Shenma Clan, including Tian Ma, a five-star Exalt God, who was groaning and spitting out a few mouthfuls of blood.

“You’re so weak. I haven’t even tried my best,” complained Feng Xi because he didn’t expect them to be so weak. He knocked them down even without using his weapon and they couldn’t stand up any more.

“Thank you for your help!”

Zhang Yang immediately walked up to Feng Xi in surprise, his face full of joy. He never imagined that this young man, who looked just seventeen or eighteen years old, would be more powerful than Tian Ma. He knew Tian Ma was a five-star Exalt God and enjoyed a high status in his family. So even he was slightly afraid of Tian Ma. But to his surprise, the young man defeated Tian Ma with only one punch. He was sure that the young man was more powerful than a six-star Exalt God.

Therefore, if the Blue Jade Family could make friends with such a strong person with potential, it would benefit a lot.

“Commander Zhang, Miss called you over,” a guard suddenly came over.

Zhang Yang immediately said to Feng Xi, “Sir, please wait a moment. I’ll come back soon.”

“OK!” said Feng Xi. He then ran over to King of the Netherworld immediately. He showed a smile again and hugged the king’s arm to show off his prowess.

“Miss, what’s the matter?” Zhang Yang walked to the window of the carriage and asked in a low voice.

A young yet charming voice came from the window. “Commander Zhang, they saved us, so they are the saviors of our clan. Remember to treat them well. When we return, we must ask my grandfather and father to repay their kindness.”

Her voice was slightly timid as if she had hesitated for a long time before saying it.

Zhang Yang had been protecting her for five years, so he knew her personality. It could have been impossible for her to say it, so he would do everything well without her orders. And she knew it, too. But to his surprise, she took the initiative to give the order this time.

However, Zhang Yang didn’t express his thoughts. He knew she was shy, so he nodded as a sign of knowing what she meant. “Miss, don’t worry, I will treat them well. When we return to the city, I will tell the master everything.”

“OK.” Her voice was filled with joy.

Zhang Yang couldn’t help but frown and look back.

The boy was holding his companion’s arm. Zhang Yang didn’t know what they said. According to the boy’s look, Zhang Yang could tell that he was keen and enthusiastic. Seeing this scene, he couldn’t help but imagine that the young man and his Miss would be a perfect match. Moreover, with great talent, the young man would likely become a Lesser Heaven God and even a Great Heaven God. However, he felt something strange when seeing them stand under the tree.

After dealing with the old enemy of his clan, Zhang Yang and his groups went on their way.

They were afraid that the Shenma Clan would send people over again, so Zhang Yang asked his subordinates to pack up quickly and headed towards the Star City. It took them half an hour to arrive there.

On the way, the young lady wanted to invite the boy and his partner to get into the carriage. Zhang Yang was shocked.

Although they were their saviors, it was still inappropriate. Zhang Yang finally knew her intention, but it was still not proper for them to sit together. Zhang Yang gave them two horses. But they just accepted one and kept staying behind them.

Seeing them riding on one horse, Zhang Yang felt stranger.

Soon, they arrived at the gate of the Star City.

The Star City was the only great city from northern region to central region, so there were many people here. The Skyline City couldn’t compare with it. Many people gathered at the huge city gate. All of them were lined up and could only enter after the guards’ inspection.

Because the Transmission Ritual of the Star City was under the control of the Blue Jade Clan, the guards of the gate were from the Clan.

When the caravan arrived at the city gate, some guards immediately walked up to them. They saw the flag of the Blue Jade Clan from afar and let out a sigh of relief. One of the guards immediately ran back to inform the master of the clan.

The Blue Jade Clan was one of the biggest clans in the Star City. The guards received good training, so they were much more strong-minded than those of ordinary clans. They already assigned their work without the information of their leaders.

“Commander Zhang, are you alright? Did the Shenma Clan harass our Miss halfway?” The leading guard at the gate approached Zhang Yang.

“Half an hour ago, we met the people of the Shenma Clan. Thankfully, someone saved us. Otherwise, our Miss would be taken away,” Zhang Yang nodded.

“I see. Where is he?”

“He is behind us. Let’s go in. We’d better not talk here.”

“I got it.”

Zhang Yang didn’t know that when they were talking, Feng Xi and King of the Netherworld had already entered. When they saw the lively Star City, they followed the crowd into the city and forgot Zhang Yang.

“There are so many people here. I can smell the roasted meat,” Feng Xi exclaimed.

The Star City might not be as big as the Rest Night City, but its traffic definitely outstripped that of the Rest Night City. There were people and shops everywhere, making every corner lively. This was the liveliest city Feng Xi had ever seen.

“We have lived in the wilderness for a month. Let’s find a restaurant to rest for a while,” King of the Netherworld said while holding Feng Xi’s hand.

“Okay,” Feng Xi was either cultivating or walking in a hurry on the way. Although he had some fun, there weren’t many cities in the north. Most places there were desolate. They could only occasionally catch rabbits in the forest, but Feng Xi forgot to bring condiments, so they tasted awful.

King of the Netherworld led Feng Xi into a well-decorated restaurant. It was at the crossroads, so its business was booming.

They walked in and found there were almost no tables downstairs. Luckily, a table of guests by the window paid the bill and left just now. A waiter was cleaning the table. That location boasted a great vision, and it was not too noisy. They were the first to come in. King of the Netherworld took Feng Xi to the table without hesitation.

“Please have a seat!”

The waiter looked up and saw them walking towards him. He immediately wore a natural smile that wouldn’t make people disgusted, but relieved. The waiter considerately pulled out chairs for them.

King of the Netherworld glanced at him and pulled Feng Xi down. Suddenly, there was a loud noise outside the door.

As a young man dressed in a gorgeous purple robe walked in, the noise faded away. Following closely behind him were his guards, each of them being a five- or six-star Exalt God. The aura emitted from them was so oppressive that the crowd in the restaurant felt it hard to breathe.

“I want that table!”

The youth declared in a domineering manner after looking around and fixing his eyes on Feng Xi’s table.

He seemed to be a little famous in the Star City, so no one there dared to talk about him. They were all angry but didn’t dare to stand up to criticize him for his overbearing behavior. Some people even looked down in silence and ate faster, as if they wanted to immediately leave the restaurant.

If the youth dressed in purple said this on other days, other people would hurry to stand up obediently, but unfortunately, he met King of the Netherworld and Feng Xi today. If he did not continue, he might be able to escape. But the arrogant youth was a man who would not change his mind until he suffered a lot.

“How about not eating roasted meat today? I’m tired of it,” the boy looked at the man beside him with sadness.

“Okay, then how about eating a bowl of congee to wash our throat and stomach?” the man looked at the boy. Although there was no expression on his face, his eyes were filled with tenderness.

“Okay!” The boy feebly leaned against the man’s broad shoulders. After a month of travelling, his excitement died away when he sat down. He became a sleepyhead leaning against King of the Netherworld.

With his consent, the man said to the waiter who frowned, “Two bowls of congee first.”

The waiter suddenly felt a little happy. Just as he was about to nod, the violet-clothed youth had already walked over angrily.

“Bastard, didn’t you hear what I said? I want this table. Get out of here if you don’t want to run into any trouble.” Seeing them ignore him and continue to order, the purple-clothed youth felt unprecedented shame and blushed with anger.

King of the Netherworld raised his  eyes with a menacing look. “So what if I heard it?”
