Chapter 399: Wilson in Rage

"Clang!"

"Clang!"

"Clang!"

"Tsk…Damn..." Lear clicked his tongues and cursed as he was forced on to go on defense.

He had already activated his true spell and formed his beastial armor.

Even though he had initially overpowered his opponent and shredded them apart, he couldn't continue it for long. There sheer number had left him exhausted...

There were still four more people left….Lear was specially wary of one who had been giving commands and coordinating the people's moment. He hadn't made any move himself yet...

"This is getting tiring…." Lear said as he bit of another of the guy's head while taking a hit in return.

"Crack!"

A hole opened up in Lear's bestial armor and the opponent didn't miss this opportunity.

Two of the guys immediately rushed in. Lear planned to pull back...but suddenly, he noticed that he had lost the sight of the man giving commands.

'Sh*t!'

''Boom!"

A torrent of ominous aura suddenly rained down on Lear.

The impact immediately made Lear dizzy, he felt like he had been hit by a truck without any defense. The upper covering of his bestial armor immediately broke and Lear felt the broken metal pieces digging into his skin.

Still, he bit his tongue and forced himself to stay conscious, fainting here would only mean death…..

He knew that two guys were still coming towards him. He would most likely be given a run for his life, he didn't do anything.

"Explode!"

Lear screamed as mana busted out of his body and sent the pieces of metal flying out in all directions.

The two men who were already in front of Lear didn't have enough time to react. Before they knew it, their body were already pierced through leaving a couple of holes.

"Thud!"

As their body fell, Lear immediately dodged towards the side.

"Bang!"

As soon as he moved, the man who had attacked Lear landed with a sword in his hand and sunk it half the way into the ground.

It was clearly powerful enough to slice Lear into two.

The man looked at Lear and black vines shot out of his body.

Lear immediately swiped his hand in the air and drew pieces of junk towards him as he tried to leap aside.

"Cink!"

The vines immediately pierced through the metal crap before piercing through Lear's left leg and opening a high hole in his thigh. Still it was better than having a hole in his head or his heart.

Lear gritted his teeth as he pushed his trembling leg against the ground trying to get back onto his feet. But it only led to more blood spilling out of his wound

"Kill him…" the man suddenly said with a smile and Lear knew there was one more person around.

As the man leapt towards Lear from behind, Lear made a quick turn and raised his hand.

"Shnk!"

The short sword pierced through Lear's palm.

"Y-You!"

The man was taken aback but when he tried to pull the blade, he found it stuck in Lear's palm.

The demonic aura immediately surrounded the man's hands turning the into black razor sharp claw.

But Lear wasn't eager to get shredded by his claws. He immediately used his other hand and threw a punch.

"Bang!"

The man caught Lear's fist and let out a chuckle as he dug his claws into Lear's hand. "What now human?"

Lear looked at him with deadly eyes, ones which could strike fear in people's heart. "Why do you laugh? Is this fun to you…"

The man trembled for a second as he felt a chill rising up his spine. But the fact that he was in the dominant position brought him back….

"Of course it is….. Being able to kill you humans and take revenge for everything you have done…nothing could be more fun than this…."

Lear saw the madness in his eyes. There was nothing more to talk about….

He tightened his grasp on the blade while he put more power into his fist.

"You think you can overpower me…." The man said with a smirk as he further dug his claws into Lear's fist.

But at this moment, something strange occurred. Mana busted out of Lear's body and the buttons on Lear's shirt broke out flew towards the man before piercing through his body.

All the vital organs were pierced…..and the man didn't seem to understand what had happened. His face still had that ugly smirk as his body fell with thud.

Lear then turned around to look at the last man standing.

The small buttons still flew around Lear.

They were hidden weapons which Max had made for Lear, well technically buttons weren't weapons as long as we didn't include Lear though….

This was a metal ore after all….and not a normal one. It was a 9★ ore, Abyss Metal.

When Max had gone to the Grandmaster's smith to meet with Mark, he had come across the ore carefully hidden in the storage room with formation protecting it.

Well it was useless to Max. He just had to use his telekinesis ability. Even though the formation could stop him, it couldn't stop spirit energy from pulling the thing out of the formation....

This thing was precious. Even Max wasn't fool enough to take the entire chunk. He was sure that Grandmaster would chase him to the end of the world if he did.

So being the kind person which he was, Max just took one third of the ore and left the rest for the Grandmaster.

Max tried to cast something with the ore but, casting a 9★ equipment was impossible for him. At best he could probably make a high grade 6★ item or an inferior quality 7★ item.

Still Max could do much more to the ore individually. That was how he made the buttons for Lear…

It really came handy….

But...Lear was reaching his limit….with the last attack, he was out of mana....

"Whoosh!"

Lear suddenly made a turn as he shot three of his buttons towards the man and tried to escape.

" Pathetic…." The man spat out those words in disdain as his demonic aura collided with the buttons immediately wiping Lear's mana off of it.

"Are you really that afraid of death?" The man asked as he chased after Lear.

Lear knew that his chances of victory were low. But he couldn't just go ahead and get pulverized and allow this man to follow after Max and the rest…

"Bang!"

Lear suddenly felt an impact on his back and flew out on the busy street before crashing into the lampost.

People were already panicking with the sirens, smoke and the barrier around. When a person suddenly flew out covered in blood, they immediately began to scramble away fearing for their life.

"A pathetic person like you doesn't even deserve my hands…." The man said as he raised his foot above Lear's face.

As foot came down on Lear's face, a sizzling noise accompanied by purple flash ran across the street.

"Grab!"

"Huh?"

The man looked below feeling a strong grip on his legs.

There was a person with red hair kneeling on the ground. He had grabbed the man's feet and while gaze was fixed on Lear.

Wilson looked at Lear, covered in blood. A giant hole in the leg. Punctured back….broken fist….

Even though he had just met with Lear, he felt that he was a good guy. The fact that he saved Anna from death was more than enough for Wilson to be eternally grateful to him and treat him as a brother...

And now…..

Wilson turned his head towards the man, there was a clear rage in his eyes.  Lightning began to crackle around him as he stood up.

"Whoosh!"

The man only saw a purple thread of lightning as he lost sight of Wilson.

"Bang!"

The next instant, it was his chest and Wilson's fist.

"Crack!"

The man's eyes widened as blood flew out of his mouth. Wilson's fist dug deeper into his chest almost causing a bulge on his back. It was accompanied by the sounds of breaking bones....
