The Alchemist of Harry Potter

Chapter 17 Crossing the Lake

Chapter 17 Crossing the Lake
In fact, children living in the wizarding world are usually bored. The Weasleys' Burrow is in the hills and trees just south of the village of Autry-San Catchpole. However, most Muggles don't even find it. There is a house there.

There were only four wizarding residents nearby, and Diggory's was the closest, but still miles away.

The two sides can only visit by broom, or by other means. In fact, the children of the four families have basically no contact.

The Weasley children hardly ever went to Autry-San Catchpole, much less played with ordinary Muggles.

However, the twins said their brother had a Muggle friend who was a beautiful girl.

"Muggles are generally more difficult to get along with. They always think we are weird and usually don't hang out together, and... my home is far from the town."

Lee Jordan's situation is even worse. He is the only one in his family, so sometimes he doesn't even have a playmate.

Albert is much better than them. He has a sister, a pile of books, and occasionally plays ball with others. However, it's usually not playing with a bunch of little kids either, it's boring after all.

Although he didn't have any real good friends, Albert was well-liked at school. After all, she has excellent grades and is very good in all aspects. She is also the type that speaks better, and she also knows how to manage interpersonal relationships.

Albert asked the three of them that children in the wizarding world didn't actually go to Muggle schools.

Is it really hard to imagine that a family like Malfoy would let their children go to Muggle schools?
Obviously not.

Of course, some wizards are exceptions.

However, the twins had never been there, and their initial knowledge was taught by their family.

"By the way, is there a family called Smith in the wizarding family?" Albert asked, his grandfather's original family was Smith.Later, he followed Muggle relatives and changed his name at will.

It can be seen how much he hated the guy who abandoned him.

"Haven't heard, how about you, George?" Fred looked at his twin brother.

"I haven't heard of it either." Li Jordan shook his head. "Is something wrong?"

"It's nothing, I still don't know where I heard this surname." Albert moved his eyes to the window, the visibility was very low, and the sky was gradually darkening.

In other words, he didn't realize that Li Jordan was a talker, this guy likes to talk non-stop.

The three of them wouldn't feel bored, anyway, it was boring in the cubicle, listening to him nagging things was like hypnosis.

Albert opened his eyes again, and he felt that the train seemed to slow down.

"In 5 minutes, the train will arrive at Hogwarts. Please leave your luggage on the train, and we will send you to school." A voice echoed through the loudspeaker on the train.

"Merlin's beard, it's finally here." Fred stretched lazily, not feeling well after sitting on the train for too long.

George helped pack the snacks on the table and put them in Albert's suitcase.

The train finally stopped, and the four walked out of the compartment, shoving and shoving along the train aisle, and swarmed towards the door.

When I got out of the car, it was really busy. They descended to a dark and small platform, and the cold rain was pouring down, and the chill of the night made Albert shiver.

"I hate rain." Albert muttered, took out his wand and chanted a spell on the pointed hat, "Fire and water are invincible."

"First-year freshmen! First-year freshmen come here!" A loud voice shouted from the platform. He raised the oil lamp above the heads of the crowd and shook it, attracting the attention of the freshmen.

"What are you doing, just follow." Fred reached out and gave him a hand.

"Wait a minute." Albert also chanted the robe on his body, and he didn't know if the spell would work, but it was better than nothing.

"Come on, Albert." Lee Jordan urged.

"Don't worry, it's here. The fluorescent light is flashing." Albert held his wand and walked towards Hagrid, who was really a tall man with a long beard, looking quite scary from a distance.

If you don't know it, you might think it's some kind of dangerous person. It looks really scary.

"Are there any first-year freshmen? We're all here, let's go!" Hagrid took them off the platform, losing the shelter of the platform, and the cold rain hit him, making the freshmen get goosebumps all over.

"Be careful under your feet," Hagrid shouted, but it didn't help at all, because the rain made the path muddy, and many people fell down several times along the way.

Albert pulled the pointed hat and robe on his body and wrapped himself tightly.Fortunately, the Water and Fire Invulnerability Mantra worked, and he didn't turn into a jerk like the others.

Why didn't I learn to use my wand to make an umbrella? No, Albert remembered that he had a folding umbrella in his suitcase.

He was a little annoyed, mad at himself.

Albert decided to take the time to learn that useful magic, so he didn't have to worry about the problem of not bringing an umbrella when it rained.

"Are you okay?" In front of him, another unlucky guy fell.

"Thank you, this journey is really boring." The girl who was helped up said gratefully

"Let's go." Albert let go of the opponent's hand, used his wand to explore the path, and walked forward slowly.

This is definitely the worst freshman class. Many people fell and were covered in mud.

He also heard Lee Jordan, whom he didn't want, whispering abuse, and he had just been taken by the people around him.

Albert suddenly felt that it was a wise decision to stay behind, at least not to be brought down.

"Be careful, it's going downhill," shouted Hagrid ahead. After he got down, he waited to avoid a student slipping on the steep slope.

It turned out to be a wise decision indeed, and three of the hapless ones did almost fall, but Hagrid managed to catch them in time.

"Look out, we'll be at the lake soon."

After everyone went downhill, Hagrid stepped forward to lead the way again. They stumped and turned a corner and finally reached a black lake.

On the hillside on the other side of the lake, stands a castle, which is Hogwarts Castle.

Lights flickered in the windows of the castle, especially in the dark rain.

"No more than four people per boat. Remember, no more than four people!" Hagrid called to the newcomer, pointing to the boat on the shore.

"Albert, this way." One of the twins beckoned to him, and Lee Jordan was also here. They were all covered in mud and looked very embarrassed.

"Are you all right?" Albert couldn't help but get on the boat.

"It's bad, I fell once and got carried twice."

"Get on the boat," Hagrid called, and after he made sure no one was overloaded with the light, he took a boat by himself. "Very well, then... go ahead."

The boat is automatic without paddles, rowing forward across the lake.

Albert raised his head and stared at the castle in front of him, with an inexplicable excitement, Hogwarts, here I come.
