The Abandoned Hunter

Chapter 51: The Deadly Path - Part 1

Jay started to meditate and after one whole hour he was completely refreshed.

He slowly opened his eyes and all his tiredness had been vanished.

"Hmm, good! Now I can enter the Tomb with complete concentration."

He immediately stood up and started to march out of the allotted tent.

Then he went towards the elders who were having some discussions about some important matter regarding their safety and other problems related to droughts etc.

They all paused the moment they saw Jay. One of the elders with furious eyes suddenly banged the table at which they were sitting.

"Armandoto Kirowaaaaaa!!!!? Shonki Ro Riouasuuu?"

It was as if the elder was angry on Jay since he had intervened and intruded such an important meeting without giving any prior notice.

It was considered a rude act to do so and it was something even an elder should follow.

Now if a mere brat were to break such rule then that would mibe meant as an act of disrespecting the elders.

Jay wanted to fight and argue for himself since he was never told about this and wasn't aware since he was not an inhabitant of the lang however he couldn't afford to waste any time here.

He immediately bowed his head and returned to the tent then picked out a small bag that was lying there in which he put some food and started moving towards the Tomb.

The elder got even more furious at this act of Jay. He thought that Jay was disregarding the elder's warning and due to this he wanted to punish him immediately.

However other elders opposed it as that wasn't the problem at hand. They had to deal with something far more worse so they also couldn't afford to divert their minds.

They immediately started to discuss the internal matters again but the elder who was furious held a grudge against Jay. He wanted to go by any means to punish and make Jay suffer. Thus, he called out some people and planned something tedious.

Jay had already gone quite far while moving towards the great Tomb according to the map that was given to him latwr by the elders.

But no one knew that the map was actually altered by the elder who held a grudge against him.

As Jay vanished out of sight into the thin mist, the elder smirked.

"Awanda risoto kiwol dunbwa!"

("Let's see you being roasted in the mountains!")

He kept on thinking about Jay being completely burnt since he had sent him over a path that is almost impossible to return from.

'TAP TAP TAP'

Jay was walking slowly and was now climbing the barren mountain.

"Damn, this place is too hot... and it seems like the heat is increasing as I move further upwards..."

He kept on walking without using any mana or other means as he wanted to conserve as much as possible for the Tomb.

"Huff huff... this is too much, it's almost unbearable..."

It was now 68 degree centigrade which was too high. Any normal human's Hormones and proteins would have been destroyed by now but since Jay was an hunter and his body was reformed he was able to withstand this heat.

"Ughhh... any more and I might faint..."

He was cussing this bad heat that was giving him a lot of head ache.

"Should I look for another way? It would be better if I..."

Suddenly a message appeared.
