Swarming The Gods

Chapter 8 - 8 Blivet's Trial 3

Previously on Swarming the gods

While Blivet, on the other hand, emerged from the ground wielding a pitchfork skewering and ripping through anything in his path, thanks to the attacks he had endured and the feast earlier, his foundation had grown more robust, and it can still improve.

Snake from before was the first to notice his reappearance making this beast change towards him in a frantic manner.

He stood upright like a human then brought forth his weapon, bracing himself for the second round, as a battle-hungry grin formed on Devouring one's face.

----------

The giant snake collided with the shaft of the Pitchfork, making the ground blivet was standing on crack and sink a bit from the sheer power of the attack.

Due to his recent changes, the attack was bearable this time!

the snake then tried using its tail to deliver a second attack moving swiftly like a knife to stab the zerg in the side.

Blivet now more familiar with the weapon he held right then twisted his Pitchfork in a manner that so that the other end parried the second attack.

Using this momentum, Blivet spun his weapon, whacking the snake on the side of its head, sending it into a daze before bringing forth a swift stab aiming for the chin.

A colossal figure, however, stopped his attempt.

This was a free for all and due to his physique, the monsters would kill each other just to get a bite out of him!

The snake, however, in a daze and furious from the attack earlier tried to hit Blivet one more time in a more ferocious manner, not noticing the growing darkness.

Since the monster was offering a way out, why wouldn't he use it?

The Zerg blocked the full strike with the center of the spear while jumping, using the blow from the snake to help him retreat.

As soon as the snake saw the strike hit, it was happy, but the growing shadow from above cut that happiness short as its pupils shrunk from this surprise.

*BAAAMMMMM*

It was like an explosion had gone off, causing the ground to shake and the surrounding trees to tilt from the blast of wind, and the Bear covered by the dust cloud slowly stood back up with a bright bloodied spot around the belly area it was apparent the snake either died or was gravely injured by its attack.

But that didn't matter as its quarry managed to escape!

It growled while looking around hungrily before using its paw to get some of the blood on its belly then licked it.

The Bear's eyes frowned as there was something odd about its surroundings, then it came to realize that there was less noise from the other monsters for some reason.

The Bear wanted to block it at first.

However, its instincts kicked in, causing it to have a delayed dodge allowing the weapon to scratch the left side of its face then took half of its left ear.

The Bear released an angry roar attacking towards the direction the Pitchfork came from.

The snake that was injured emerged from the ground looking around before attempting to escape however it didn't even realize that the zerg just laid a trap for it!

A massive paw came out from the dust cloud causing it to think this random thought thanks to the kind of life its grandfather, he was surrounded by numerous female reptiles while winking at his younger self at the time, before the Paw landed!

"I should've made a harem!"

Blivet lured the dumb bear to finish the snake off~.

The surrounding area shook from it, Sending debris flying about with enough power to kill those one realm lower than it.

Tens of the weaker beasts suffered because of this littering the area with their bodies, giving the Zerglings that were hidden more food to grow even stronger.

The Bear then delivered more blows sending more and more rocks flying like stray bullets as the forest surrounding them was destroyed, leaving a large open area.

After ten strikes or so, the Bear finally stopped its arms shivered from the pain and strain.

It brought the smushed meat for it to see only to be disappointed due to the wrong creature being killed it looked around while ŀɨċkɨnġ the reptilian blood and mangled flesh.

It stood in place searching for that delicacy; the smell only grew stronger until it felt a very painful stab strike at the least expected spot...

Blivet stabbed the Pitchfork... into its anus!

What? all is fair in love and war~.

This caused the Bear to jump a few meters into the air from surprise, pain, then finally anger.

It was angry from the shameless attack that it had experienced, causing it to rampage more fiercely than before while bellowing out a bloodthirsty roar!

Even if its claws cracked, then broke off, even if its paws were cut into by the rocks and other debris.

Blivet was hard-pressed as he desperately tried dodging all the attacks as every strike grew more accurate than the previous.

By the time the Bear was done heaving out tired breath with steam, bloodied forelegs, it had suffered from its own attacks.

Blivet was struggling to stand, His carapace was no longer intact.

He was missing a leg while standing upright using the Pitchfork as a cane, bits and pieces of him were missing both from the attacks, and the debris on the left side of its ċhėst caved in slightly from one of the stray rocks.

Blivet, at this moment, was still sporting a battle-hungry as he needed one more push to break that shackle that prevented him from reaching the next level of strength.

Just a little more!

However, a cold voice washed away the joy of battle.

"Kakaka, to think I'd be able to find myself a beast with a rare bloodline! and look brothers; there's even a strange man there too."

It was a man floating in the sky using some kind of sword.

However, that wasn't the only problem. There were hundreds more of them, and the leader had an insignia strapped to his belt, showing a four-letter word.

It was LING.
