Swarming The Gods

Chapter 24 - 24 new unit, tempting source of essence

Previously on Swarming the Gods

The dragon finished his snack before he dropped the last task.

"Take me there."

The tone he had an underline meaning that "say no, and I'll kill you now."

It was forcing the girl to make a choice that will affect the lives of those on this plane.

The hive was deep underground however that didn't hide the ŀustrous beauty it held thanks to the changes that were made.

The glowing purple rocks around them added more to its charm as the drones busied themselves with collected necessary materials for the plans their queen had in mind,

Speaking of which, The castle where Alissa resides looked more like a living treasure than a monument as the zerg were attempting to create a floating 'fortress.'

However, as always, the usual problem was that they just lacked a few strains and materials.

Alissa could already imagine that Carbot scene of 'not enough minerals,' Lol~.

This new creation of hers held the highest defense and was integrated into a large swarm host as an alternative for an offensive zerg that would kill most enemies by flattening them with its sheer weight.

While this was a work in progress, It was quite the sight to see a castle walking underground with each step creating a small quake from the sheer weight it has wings however it is unable to fly for long periods of time.

It was a step to her dream of trying to imitate a certain character.

She was even having her drones make some dresses based on that person just to stave her boredom.

What Alissa loved about this the most was it only used one unit!

So if she had the time and materials she'd be able to create more to swarm her foes with them~.

Alissa decided to name these units Acropolis borrowing the idea from a certain citadel since they are a prototype of her real goal, she hoped to make a version similar if not greater than a certain garden but she lacks the materials so this girl can only sit that plump buŧŧ down on her throne and cultivate.

this was her current stats

Primal weapons(8)(2/1720)

Well, the early stages at least.

There have been some funky messages from Alissa's first skill, it won't provide her with any other information.

Things have been peaceful here and it looked like Alissa might get a good foothold here sooner than she had planned.

She shared her senses with the closest zergs seeing and feeling what they do.

This was one of her ways of passing time all while cultivating.

It was an interesting sight and experience to have the legendary zerg do her bidding and use the ideas of past life.

Since they could adapt, grow, and integrate 'things' into their bodies, this tickled her curiosity.

She wanted to see how far can they go...

How much can they integrate into the hive from the movies, animes, games, stories that she remembered?

Now she wants to see the others, martial arts, magic, technology, and so much more.

Thanks to what Alissa remembered about the zerg there had been a few cerebrates that had been made, this would help her back up all of the memories of her christened zergs.

Looking at the current condition of Blivet, the loyal zerg lost all of his previous memories, it was like his mind was a blank sheet once again, but at least all of his previous abilities remained now all that was needed was for her devil's spear to be ready for any trouble.

Almost upon thinking that, the temperature in the cavern had increased more than a few degrees.

Alissa immediately ordered her troops to scour for the source of the problem!

Sure the diligent zerg quickly found the problem, however, the source was a large red spot that emerged from the ceiling not far from the sealed-up entrance that was being guarded by tens of zerglings.

They were unfortunate enough to within the area had suddenly combusted into flames as the screeching death throes came from them for a second before they fell to the ground.

Then the red ceiling gave out as a large flame burst forth burning everything it touched.

The molten rock dripped down onto some of the fearless zerglings that acted as scouts despite the dangers as all that they had seen passed unto the others of the swarm!

She managed to hold her ground as the flames that seemed unending splashed upwards, to the side and trickling near her feet.

Thane tightened her grip on her large shield then with a stoic look she humphed making the shield expand more than ten times its original size.

The christened zerg acted according to her namesake, Thane was the shield of the queen no one shall harm her while the THANE STILL STANDS!!

but the flames only grew stronger as her shield shined red, her arm slowly roasting away, she grits her teeth enduring the foreign pain that persisted with these flames it was as if it didn't just hurt her body but something else too but thane wasn't sure what it was!

Lunar managed to arrive before using her ability called transfusion that allowed Thane to heal a bit faster physically however the other damage still lingered.

The remade Blivet watched from above while clinging to the ceiling waiting for the perfect time to strike.

The zerg might not know very much due to his recent rebirth, but his instincts were still there!

He felt fury as the culprit that brought this bastard here was one of the damned humans that was personally given a second chance by the queen!

Blivet readied his pitchfork as the flames were stopping, he was studying his target a large red reptilian creature from the memories he gathered from the hivemind...

...It was a dragon!

The shared network of knowledge of the hivemind allowed Blivet to quickly understand the difficulty of handling this obstacle to his queen's plans!

Since there was a chance that his weapon will fail to pierce the scales the most optimal choice would be to aim for the eyes or inside the mouth...

...or the least feasible option, the anus.

He wasn't clear on why that last part came to mind, but as long as it works, the zerg was willing to jump into its flame breath to protect his queen!

the last choice may be an unsavory option, hell even downright dishonorable but at least he will deliver some damage against this enemy, again anyone or anything that threatens the livelihood of his queen Blivet will use any of the means available to him!

The dragons head was right below him as it savored the smell of the burnt zergs the temptation of breaking through the next level of his cultivation was too tempting, and from how weak the occupants of this area were...

...He immediately wanted to enjoy this 'all-you-can-eat' buffet.

With TSD distracted, blivet allowed himself to fall silently and naturally to lessen his presence as much as possible.

The descending zerg reigned in his killing intent since he knew that this dragon may only be blinded and possibly infected with the new method they have been trying.

*Swick*

This was music to his ears as he managed to dig his pitchfork deep into the eye of the dragon some of its blood spurts out at blivet allowing him to get a strain of this creature's DNA.

Every zerg connected to him, quickly made full use of the information to increase their strength, All while the pained howls of the dragon were deafening and frightening.

"YOU PUNY ANT!"

The dragon Snarled in anger!

What greeted blivet was a large claw that moved too fast slamming him into the ground then holding him down with the same claw.

TSD's angered roars full of arrogance boomed throughout the area while he began charging his flames.

TSD's neck and ċhėst glowed red while facing the four-armed zerg that harmed him, the dragon wanted to touch his injured area, however, the pitchfork that was still in his eye made him rethink that action.

"I'LL MAKE SURE YOU BURN SLOWLY AND PAINFULLY YOU DAMNED PEST!!"

The silly thing though, Blivet after coughing up some blood began laughing strangely.

He was recently reborn, so the dragon's threats were useless AND pointless against a zerg that not only held unflinching loyal to his queen but thanks to tasting his blood there was one thing that came to the mind of Blivet.

How much stronger can the swarm get if they ate him?

Thus his cackle sounded Deranged and unfettered disturbed the dragon.

as if The zerg was enjoying this situation!?

Blivet used one of his free arms that weren't broken completely to grab the claw as his veins began to protrude pushing forward as hard as he could wanting to resist actually managing to lift it off of him a little.

The hungry look he gave TSD was unsettling for the target of it but his pride made him ignore this CLEAR sign of danger.

The scarlet dragon looked at his feeble actions coldly only to release the stored flames as the shrill screams of agony quickly followed.
