Swarming The Gods

Chapter 2 - 2: a forced fate made by the previous life and a sudden twist

I opened my eyes, and I seem to be inside a room with a bunch of cards in three rows on a marble table the height reaching above my waist and with nothing to tell me what is going on, I mean sure this could be a dream or something like those novels about reincarnation and what not...

As I was starting to lose my calm, a gender-neutral voice began to speak to me...

"choose your destination" (???)

"wha-?!"

I yelped in surprise due to the sudden voice, and it repeated itself but in a more colder tone

"choose-your-destination" (???)

Then the cards on the table began to glow in a bluish hue since nothing could be done; otherwise, I picked one up despite my reluctance showing a man somewhat hunched with his right hand holding a sword on his back and his left straightened out with a light coiling around it.

Upon seeing this I was filled with disgust, as for why well, it was a man that I absolutely loathe a severely rotten man that rȧpės women and slaughters crowds due to his selfishness and other reason that just makes me want to kill him.... sigh while his heart is in the right place sometimes bah I still don't like the guy.

As I resigned to my unfortunate fate, the first row of cards disappeared. The voice released a somewhat unnerving chuckle as if to mock my poor choice, so I reeled in my seething anger and grabbed a card from the next row that had a red hue to it. The thing that it showed me was somewhat baffling; it showed a significant ERROR on it and suċkėd in two other cards, then explain in jumbled words then suċkėd in more cards that also had a red hue on around them as the row disappeared.

Before I could read or even see the changes, it entered my ċhėst.

The voice clicked its tongue out loud, then a card with three different hues flew at me, and one thing I can definitely say pain, unlike anything I have ever felt before enveloped me.

It was Like having gas poured on to you then thrown into a blizzard, then set on fire followed by a running current of thousands upon thousands of volts running through you as you are falling from the sky like a meteor followed by a powerful impact of crashing into the ground.

--A few hours later--

The area where I landed was covered in burnt ground and trees with a few unlucky beasts I let out a groan as I tried to stand up only to feel very.... unbalanced? I stare down at myself, and what I saw was rather scary and embarrassing at first. I had no clothes, maybe? And secondly, I had an exoskeleton armor that only covered the essentials, but still, I certainly do not want to meet that wretched Yun Che, and yes, I was sent into his blasted world...!

No way in hell is I going to be one of his ugh my skin crawls just from thinking about such an outcome okay...

First things first, the information I received as I was being tortured....

Uh, what was it again ah yes "MENU" upon saying that magic word a blue screen appeared in front of me.

While I was curious as to why I had no name and was also curious about my skills the sound of the bushes moving about followed by growls gotten my attention I turned to look, and I got to see one of the biggest wolves I have ever seen staring right at me while snarling I blanked out due to the sudden intruder and the pain that followed it awoke me from my stupor.

There was a large chunk missing from my arm. Hence, i screamed in pain as my eyes went bloodshot as pure rage consumed me as I charged at my enemy while using my skill bone weapons and natural armor my exoskeleton grew a darker shade of black. It now covered my whole body, and my fingers, joints, and head grew blades that were long enough and sharp enough to do some damage, remember keyword "some"...

As I charged while swing my blade cover hand the wolf charges as well as it tries to chomp off my head, I bȧrėly dodged as my blades hit its side with a sound of a *shink* and I felt a sharp pain emerge from my left ear as it felt hot and something dripping to the ground, causing me to roar and swing at my opponent that seemed to be savoring the flesh he got from me this time I dashed forward with both hands together lunging like a spear.

my bone weapon dug through its skin but didn't do much towards the layer under it as it cracked and broke, however, it did send the wolf a few meters I was forced to repeatedly use the weak-ass f*cking skill too many darn times as the floor was covered in my broken pieces of bone, every time I hit it the wolf manages to get a hit in as well the fight went on for a few hours, with my natural armor yeah it bȧrėly held against the blows of my opponent and I began to think that maybe it was meant for the climate rather than for battle that or natural clothes, YAY! f*cking useless skill, against what I am fighting, he was tearing through it after swiping at me twice, forcing me to use it over and over again.

During the battle, I was getting skinnier as my skills apparently used my flesh to fuel it.

Thus I am getting tired and hungry as I was covered in cuts and bruises my current body is way weaker than my old one sh*t this is not funny, not funny at all and I think that the wolf is pretty tired too. However, this guy definitely has more vigor than I do.

Strangely enough, I don't feel fear despite the dire straits as one particular skill has been bugging me.

So I decided to use it as I did my body froze and the bloodied wolf charged upon seeing this I broke free from my daze and tried to dodge sadly though it managed to sink its teeth into my sides causing me to cough up blood however the following since amazed me...

From the blood and bones around us, four creatures emerged half the size of the wolf; however, their blades on the backs that looked like spider legs looked more sinister than my own blades.

They growled and charged at the wolf piercing their blades deep into the wolf's flesh, causing it to let go of me and howl in pain it tries to shake them manages to get one of them off.

Still, as for the other three, they just kept on scratching and digging in, causing a bloody scene as flesh and blood flew about covering the area around them with it.

As for the fourth one is joined in the fight yet again this time towards the head not before using the skill natural armor that looks many times more powerful than mine and sinking its extra appendages into the wolf's skull.

As it was bitten and being flung around until the next scene happens, the blades that my summons had embedded into the wolf expanded into numerous blades tearing through it, causing it to jolt then collapse dead.

As I blacked out, one of the zerglings that I summoned walked towards me with a hungry look.

As I thought to myself, damn looks like these guys aren't my allies after all.
