A man, that floated in the sky without using anything, he, alone, released a roar full of anger, and anxiousness.

"damned demon! release my grandchild!!"

all while releasing a pressure similar to what ling wu did, however, the pressure that this man released was maybe 100X stronger maybe more, however, blivet stayed close to his hostage to ensure to stall as much as he could while the zerglings hid waiting for a chance to strike.

Blivet grabbed his victim by the neck in a brutal manner before lifting him up then with a smirk he asked in a teasing tone to rattle the man even more.

"why don't you make me?"

The four groups according to the information that Blivet gathered from the cowering mess of a man that he held hostage, were the people of the four major sects.

They wanted to covet the 'treasure' that appeared in this forest.

for the first three at least, the lone man however he was here for the young man that was beaten and bleeding within the grasp of this demonic-looking creature thanks to the jade token!

thinking about it, this man most likely is the 'strongest' swordsman to the public eye at least.

the swordsman was fuming with anger since the culprit that held his grandchild ignored his demand and had the audacity to taunt him.

even the others were surprised as they were familiar with his might and reputation.

One of the men that had the sky hawk logo attempted to speak with blivet.

"I am called Xiao Bo, one of the elders of the Xiao sect"

All while trying to get a hold of lunar so that he may know how much more time do they need.

the answer he received was encouraging however it wasn't enough as the last part nearly caused him to lose control as he was growling from hearing about it.

"hang in there blivet we are halfway done, and thanks to your actions we managed to Slay a group of humans that had a sky hawk logo at the cost of our queen using a bit more of what she had left."

Blivet's eyes grew menacing as his emotions were filling their connection before Lunar gave him a light mental shock to calm him down before he could possibly fail the task he had!

"calm down you fool! you handle things there! I'll handle things here, capiche?"

Despite her words, anger filled his mind as he turned towards the man from the Xiao sect, struggling so hard not to lunge at the man that HAD a hand at his queen's suffering!

His mandible was clattering in a threatening manner from trying to force the urge of biting the man not too far from him!

Xiao bo was surprised at the monster that held one of Ling Tainni's grandkids, it had a look that was a cross between a Cloud Ant and a Blood Bat, the face had 3 sets of mandibles, that were clattering now possibly from him getting too close, two sets of eyes, with a pair of leather wings folded on its back.

However, the strange pressure it gave off left him uneasy.

the monster's attitude changed towards Xiao bo upon hearing his name as the creature's armor began to shake, and Ling wu upon hearing this began panicking grabbing hold of the arm that held him with his teeth clattering the look of fear was now obvious in the young man's eyes as his legs were flailing about!

Before a strange pillar, made from some strange material, emerged from under the Xiao sect people, then out of the tip of the emerging pillar with seemingly endless amounts of spikes that looked like tree roots came flying towards them stabbing, tearing, impaling all of those in the range that wasn't fast enough which left only a few that watched the deaths of their friends, loved ones and fellow disciples in shock.

As their blood and corpses fell they littered the ground beneath them staining it further exciting blivet and his minions!

then what happened next was even more infuriating those that were hit by the pillars exploded into lumps of torn meat, those that managed to avoid getting hit, the men and women that were earth, profound cultivators, managed to strike back destroying the zerg pillar in retaliation the sacrifice that Blivet had to pay was some of his troops.

which, by the way, was ten for each pillar!

however, compared to the price that the Xiao sect paid it was devastating!

they lost a large number of promising individuals this would take decades to recover from thanks to resources they used and the manpower lost.

Everyone was surprised by the sudden attack.

"how was my present? huh, humans? and don't worry that is just the beginning."

As he made a strange chuckle putting them on edge!

they all looked at the source.

Blivet showed them a compelling yet menacing smile that acted as a taunt towards them

Xiao bo was furious at this he wanted to attack, veins protruded from his face and arms as the man wanted revenge however the hostage prevented him from doing so he will incur the wrath of the greatest swordsman, however, if he did nothing he would incur the wrath of his patriarch since he failed to protect the younger generation that was under his charge.

the other groups quickly flew higher not willing to go through the same suffering, the treasure may be enticing however their lives were worth more than that!

Ling Tianni glared at the demon on the ground then looked towards the xiao sect elder as if to warn him not to make any sudden moves before gritting his teeth then tried asking in a calm manner.

"release him then I will make your death a quick and painless one!"

Blivet chuckled slowly and loudly at this before replying with a mocking sneer.

"old fart, are you kidding me? having him in my hand preserves my life! now, why would I give that up? you damned idiot!"

As he said this, Blivet was wiggling the victim a bit causing his face to change color from the brief lack of oxygen, causing the old man to stand still for obvious reasons~.

He wanted them to focus on him!

he wanted all eyes on him!

Be it the people that were here or the people that were hiding Blivet wanted to take on everything.

As their sanctuary is almost done!

He needed time!

The zerg was desperate for it even if he would have to coax the groups around into bombarding him!

Thus he used the same trick from before having the zerglings under him to act as his armor and weapon as a large alien hand emerged from the ground reaching for the Xiao elder.
