Chapter 76: Ancient Pegasus bloodline

Kritos and Sanju were walking straight to the crowd.

Many of the youth stare at them. They have heard about yesterday's event where Kritos showed shocking results.

Sanju again glanced at Clara who was standing with her father. Her golden hair, green eyes, and white porcelain skin earned her the adoration of many.

Her eyes immediately caught the sight of Sanju. She couldn't wait to walk over to him but she must have to attend her duty first.

While both Kritos and Sanju waited for a good time to congratulate and give her birthday gift.

Not long later, a man wearing golden armor walked into the hall.

This man was captain Mitchell.

"Greetings to Captain Mitchell!"

Captain Mitchell's arrival brought many people out of their chairs as they immediately stood up.

They dare not to disrespect the captain of the Elite Royal Force. Moreover, Captain Mitchell was a Core Realm warrior. All the clan heads of three clans were only at the peak stage of the Foundation realm.

The difference between Foundation and Core Realm is huge. Most of the cultivators never overcome the barrier in their life to reach Core Realm.

As their body starts aging it becomes more difficult to break through to Core Realm.

Kritos also stood up. Captain Mitchell had helped him a lot and he would hence be respectful to him.

" Everyone, at ease! Please sit!" Captain Mitchell glanced at the crowd and smiled.

"Thank you, Captain Mitchell!" The crowd called out in unison before they all took their seats.

Captain Mitchell glanced at Kritos and nodded his head in acknowledgment. Then, he strode forward and stood behind the three seats.

Not only was there a high middle seat in the northern stands, but there were also 3 other special seats there as well.

The highest middle seats were for the main character of the banquet, Star Kingdom Princess.

As though the timings were arranged, the moment Captain Mitchell stood beside the seats, a group of people walked down the jade path in the hall.

Finally, the sound of footsteps echoed through the hall from inside and the place immediately quietened down.

As the crowd whipped their heads around, they found a lady walking gracefully over a small pavement.

This lady wore sea-blue-colored armor and she was tall and pretty.

However, unlike other ladies, this lady was not elegant and delicate but was full of power. Along with the armor she wore, she appeared to be like a pretty boy who exuded a strong aura of dominance.

As she took a few steps forward, she quickly arrived at the grounds.

"Greetings to Princess of the Kingdom!"

The crowd immediately stood up and bowed to the blue-armored lady. Many people wore a fanatical look in their eyes.

This was firstly because she was a princess of the star Kingdom, and secondly because she was pretty. A beauty to many. Thirdly, she was highly talented and strong.

These three points gave testimony to her status as a special lady whom many young men looked up to.

The Princess walked to the highest main seat where Captain Mitchell was standing and looked down on the crowd.

Behind her was a female who hid her face with a black veil. Nobody could see her face but from the body, anyone could imagine she must be beautiful.

"Everyone please sit down,"

As the princess's voice boomed out, she appeared to be like a majestic eagle.

Princess sat in the middle seat and the female behind her sat on the right-side seat.

"The Princess is indeed beautiful and straightforward!" John Augusta said

No one in the banquet dared to talk with the Princess due to the fear. Thinking it may be disrespectful to her.

However, John was familiar with her. So, he doesn't hesitate to speak good words for her.

"Thanks," after saying that she stood from the seat and said

"I am honored to be invited to this gorgeous birthday banquet. No need to be too polite, everyone!"

As they heard Princess's voice, all of them started greeting Princess with beautiful words.

Kritos closely stared at the princess, he felt he had seen her before but can't remember where. He tried to remember but it was meaningless.

"Hey, I know you are enchanted by the beautiful look of the princess but Stop staring at her, it looks rude and disrespectful," Sanju said from behind.

"Huh! Sorry brother," Kritos quickly apologized.

"It's ok, let's greet her first."

"Brother you go, I will come after you."

Sanju nodded his head and stepped forward to greet the Princess. He just wanted to quickly greet the princess and then he could talk with Clara.

Kritos did not step forward and greet the princess. Instead, he remained at his seat and savored his juice. As a boy from the village, he doesn't have the guts to personally greet the princess of the Kingdom.

The reason why he had attended the banquet was not to impress others, but solely because Sanju had said so.

As time passed, More and more people arrived at the grounds, and very quickly, there were over 500 people present.

However, everyone there was invited to the party and the seats were also arranged for the invited guests. Hence, there were enough seats for everyone.

Nonetheless, Kritos was interested in the girl who covers her face with a veil. That was because the girl had a strange quality to her, and she was highly unusual. He can feel with his extraordinary sense that there is something quite unique in that girl.

"Princess, Lady Freya, he is Kritos Rathore, the late one!" Captain Mitchell tilted his chin up and pointed towards Kritos.

"Oh, so that is him?" Sasha and Freya immediately turned towards Kritos and surveyed him.

Unexpectedly both of them stared at him for a bit, and then looked at each other.

"My dear princess, isn't he the boy we saved before arriving in Rewa city?" Freya mumbled

Freya was sitting in the princess chair while the real princess, Sasha, was sitting beside her.

"I think so, but his body changed and also his aura," Sasha replied

"Aya! You remember his body. Hehe! What would people think if they heard your delightful words?"

"You evil-minded, stop your silly thoughts. I was just saying he completely changed from the pitiful boy whom we saw earlier." Sasha explained

"Whatever, it is true you miss him. Haha!"

"Stop your nonsense."

Sasha again glanced at Kritos and said," Who had thought that the boy we saved was a late one."

"Late one! I don't think he could achieve much after rejecting Captain Mitchell's offer. As a late one, he needs resources to overcome his cultivation speed."

"Hmm," Sasha nodded her head in agreement.

While both were talking, Kritos felt the gazes on him. He looked around but couldn't find the source of it.

Only Uproarious voices rose in the hall as many groups of friends drank and talked with each other.

On the other hand, Kritos did not follow the crowd but he sat on his seat and calmly watched the scene.

In his opinion, the banquet was just scenery to him. He didn't even have a single friend except for his elder brother.

Talking about his brother, Kritos couldn't spot him after he greeted the princess.

Maybe he is talking with Clara in someplace.

After some thought, Kritos decided to check the status of the princess of Star Kingdom.
