Chapter 74: Clara's Birthday Banquet

The box which Lakhan took out was closed by an odd cap. By just watching, anyone could conclude that this container is made for storing pills.

"Kritos, Captain Mitchell wanted me to give this to you. Don't worry, it's not related to joining the Elite Royal Force."

It was not the first time Kritos saw a container like this. Over the two years, several times, Lakhan gifted him some health pills which were stored in this type of container.

"Pill! What type of pill is stored in there, Grandpa," Kritos asked

"Qi condensing Pill! Captain Mitchell gifted it to you after noticing your courage yesterday. It will help you in nourishing your cultivation and increase the absorption rate of qi for a short time."

Kritos was grateful after hearing the use of this pill. He didn't expect Captain Mitchell would gift him such a valuable item.

Nonetheless, Kritos was not a fool who didn't understand the intention behind this gift. But could he reject such a valuable pill?

After some chatting with Lakhan, Kritos accepted the container. There was ten qi condensing pill stored in the container.

The alchemist was one of the noble professions in the Sincromas world. Even Kings have to bow down to an Alchemist for their help. Only 1 out of 1000 cultivators could have a talent for Alchemy. Their rare existence made them a group of people who were respected and admired everywhere.

Although the Alchemist Cultivator didn't have a high battle power. They can easily massacre a city in a single night.

After returning home, Kritos mother told him about the Birthday Banquet of Clara Augusta.

"Kritos, Tomorrow is Clara's birthday. One of the clan members of the Augusta clan specially invited you to the Banquet. Are you free?"

Kritos thought for a second and came to conclusions that it must be due to the fame of a Late one. Even though Kritos stayed in Rewa city for almost two years, they never personally invited him.

"Should be fine for me," Kritos said after some thought.

He could take the opportunity to be acquainted with his brother's lover and learn about this year's Challenger League.. It could prevent him from being utterly clueless.

"It looks like you'll have to think of a birthday present for Miss Clara," Radha said

Kritos glanced at his mother and said, "This should be left to the Elder brother, Sanju. He knows Miss Clara better than us. Besides, what I need to do is what a gentleman ought to do—Stand with him."

Kritos returned with a smile.

In the evening, Kritos wore his cheap formal robe and visited the Augusta Clan.

The Augusta clan was in the centre of the city, so it didn't take much time to arrive there.

In the center of the August clan, there was a big hall where Clara's birthday banquet was to be held here. It was surrounded by a huge beautiful garden.

Ten guards stood before the garden and they all had strong auras bursting from them. A few of them were even not from the Augusta clan.

At that point, a stream of peoples was presenting their invitation cards to the guards as they headed into the garden

Kritos did not hesitate and he handed his invitation to the guard before the garden.

"Kritos Rathore from the Dwivedi clan?" The guard who took the invitation confirmed.

"Mm!" Kritos nodded his head.

A surprised and respectful look appeared on guard.

Of course, due to his fame or because he did not really make an effort to conceal himself, many people recognized his name. However, Kritos didn't bother about that.

In his current circumstances, there was not much need to hide his identity.

Please enter!" The guard gestured inwards, indicating for Kritos to enter the garden.

Kritos walked into the Garden and saw a large pavement lined by jade stones that led from the front gates into the palace.

Wondrous flowers bloomed beside the pavement, competing among each other to find the most pretty flower.

"It is a nice decoration!" Kritos praised.

At that point, many normal guests were sitting on the seats. With a quick scan, Kritos realized that there were no less than 300 people.

This garden had a length of a few dozen meters and a width of around. In the center, Augusta hall is wonderfully decorated.

Although the hall was in the central, one would see flowers and bamboo upon entering. These plants were treasures, and between the plants, there was emerald-green water that quietly flowed around as if it was a jade belt.

Beyond the area where flowers are placed, there were exquisite little tables. The tables were about one foot tall and they only allowed people to sit kneeling on the ground. Kritos never thought that Augusta is much richer than the Dwivedi Clan. Moreover, this time they don't leave a shortage in celebrating Clara's Birthday.

Kritos was about to put some food on his plate when his shoulder was heavily tapped twice.

"Kritos, I thought you didn't come!" Sanju cheerfully said.

"Huh!"

"Elder brother, where were you today? I asked Aunty and Uncle even they didn't know."

"Just wondering," Before Kritos asked anything, Sanju continued, "Well, I heard about yesterday's event. Did you have a good night's sleep?" Sanju asked with concern, but then he started laughing.

Kritos answered honestly, "Better than I expected.

"Very good. I feel assured hearing that," Kritos said while laughing.

Kritos ignore him and chew a piece of food.

" Hey, did you come here just for eating?"

"Probably…" Kritos said while finishing a piece of food.

"Hahaha,"

"You are different from everyone. While the boys of your age are waiting to see the princess of the Star Kingdom. You are eating food alone."

"Princess…"
