"Is it the egg of the demonic crow?"

Kritos wondered about the origin of the egg. Perhaps, inside in it, there is a high purity bloodline demonic crow. It may be the reason why they were protecting me.

Still, why do they wish that someone would pick this egg? and the light illuminating the path was also pointing to the egg.

Kritos gazes at the dozen fleeing demonic crows from afar. A confused and bewildered countenance appears on his face.

He didn't understand what just happened. He was simply following the light because all around him was deep darkness.

Above the sky, there was an extreme red sun. The sun was very strange from the ordinary sun.

Kritos felt it was constantly looking at him as if it was really alive.

"Lord, it is done. Someone with a compatible soul beast that describes in the ancient text has taken the ancestor egg," A fairly big crow transmitted a voice.

Quickly a response transmitted into his brain," Good! Good! Finally, I can leave this cursed place."

The voice has an exhilarating emotion with a mix of loneliness.

"Approx 200,000 years, damned 200,000 years!"

The owner of the voice cried out in sorrow.

The thing that happened in the extreme past was constant grief in his entire life.

Suddenly, Kritos tumbles in a rather similar place. 

"Cave!"

It was the same small cave where Kritos found the bead which teleported him to a strange place.

Kritos immediately searches for the bead around him. Soon, he found a similar bead but with an absurd dim light. Its light was on the verge of vanishing.

Kritos stare at it for a few seconds before the light completely disappears from the bead.

Upon complete disappearance of the glow from the bead, the bead now looks normal.

Its color was violet with a speck of white color. 

This time, Kritos first throws a small insect on it, upon seeing nothing happens to it. Kritos has a sigh of relief.

After a split second, Kritos walked towards the bead and again bent his body to pick up the bead.

[Ding…]

[Heavenly Bead detected…]

[Heavenly Bead: Used to strengthen the core of the cultivator into the Heavenly Core. It can only be used just before the breakthrough to Core Realm.]

"Heavenly Bead!"

Kritos glanced at the relatively normal bead and a delighted expression materialized on his face.

The core of cultivators is divided into many divisions, based on the purity of the core. Starting from the low grade, mid-grade, high grade, highest grade, and then the last legendary grade.

Most of the cultivators at the Core Realm have only low-grade cores, whereas people like Captain Mitchell have mid-grade cores. 

The system also assigns a mission to him that is related to the purity of the core. In the mission, he has to somehow help Sanju to form high-grade core purity.

Kritos knows that with time, his elder brother would definitely form a high-grade core purity with his improved talent and divine soul beast.

If only Sanju's divine soul beast was pure, not mutant, he can easily form the highest grade core purity.

About Legendary grade, Kritos never heard anyone forming it. For people like him, it was already an impossible feat.

'Virtual world? Is this related to the Time chamber?' Kritos thought to himself.

After storing the unknown egg in his system storage function, Kritos decided to leave the cave. 

Bakiya city was just a few hours away from here, but due to the mountain range, it will take some time to arrive there. 

After wearing the clothes, Kritos departed from the peak of the mountain.

Inside Kritos consciousness, a being surrounded by the black smoke opens his dark eyes.

The being was in a formless shape, it can take the shape of any being. Currently, it was in the shape of a beautiful male elf.

The wind was blowing at high speed, it swept past through Kritos.

The sudden gust of wind ruffled the leaves of the trees, creating a sound much like the surf.

The taste of the fruit was somehow sweet with a mixture of sourness.

"Why did I never find this fruit in Rewa City? What a pure taste!" Kritos compliment upon biting a fruit.

He had already stored many foods in the System storage function. The tree was almost empty because of him.
