Summoning Mercenaries

Chapter 9: Ghostly past

   "嗷..."

A zombie is wandering aimlessly on the high speed. From his anti-static orange overalls and the reflective warning strips on the overalls, it is not difficult to see that he, or that it was a gas station worker before his death.

"Om...Om~!..." There was a little roar from the south of the road, and it got closer and closer.

The zombie who is impressed with the sound can of course hear the roar. It twisted its stiff neck, looking at a bright light getting closer and closer.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!) He raised his bitten hands and walked quickly towards the light.

   However...

"Boom!" The body was smashed into pieces by the car.

   "Oh!" Someone vomited again.

  ...

The picture turned around. Kent couldn't hold back the pickup truck's cab. After seeing the zombies being run over by his own car, he vomited out the vomit again.

"Hello!" Simon saw this, and quickly tore off his cuff, wiped Kent's mouth, and said with a look of disgust:

"How many times did you vomit this day? When you escaped from Sarsis before, you ran over so many zombies, and I never saw you vomit. Why can't you stand it after hitting one?"

Even though his mouth is not good, Simon still helps Kent clean up carefully.

"Cough!" Kent glanced at Simon the co-pilot and thanked him: "Thanks... Simon."

Although Simon was called out, the implanted memory made Kent feel very intimate with Simon. It seems that this small setting is effective for him and Simon.

However, Kent's memory of Simon was limited to his childhood, and there was a blank space for at least five or six years, which was exactly the time since Simon joined the army.

It seems that this system is not only as simple as summoning, it can generate a real person out of thin air, and implant the timeline of this person into the world, as if Simon had really lived in this world.

"Guru!" After regaining his senses, Kent swallowed the sour bile before saying:

"It was different. When I rushed out of the town, I had too much adrenaline excretion, which made me too excited. I didn't consider the corpses that were run over...it should be said that they were corpses."

"Haha." Simon chuckled and took out a piece of paper from the pocket of the armed belt, but it was a map after it was unfolded.

Simon looked at the map, studied it for a moment, and said in a deep voice: "About three kilometers ahead is a gas station. The car is running out of gas. Fill it up and start again."

"Oh, good." Kent answered, who had returned to normal, and then asked, "How long will it take to get to Phoenix?"

"If the high speed is unobstructed, it will be there in about two hours." Simon replied.

   ‘huh...’

Kent secretly breathed a sigh of relief in his heart. He didn't know where Phoenix City was. If it took two or three days from the small town of Sassis to Phoenix City, he wouldn't have time to go to Boriska.

Knowing that time is no longer pressed and that he will not become an **** for the time being, Kent concentrates on driving.

Fortunately, this pickup is automatically geared, and the on-board computer also helps to correct the driving. In addition, there are no other cars besides Kent and Simon's cars, and Kent quickly adapts to driving.

He glanced at the co-pilot from the corner of his light and saw that Simon was still looking at the map and was studying something, so he couldn't help but said: "Um... Simon, I really trouble you today. First save me, and now I have to save it. My sister."

"Hehe, it should be..." Simon smiled first, but his smile stagnated, and then he said sadly to himself: "I can't lose my loved ones anymore..."

Although the second half of the sentence is very quiet, there is no other sound in the car except the ‘boom’ on the radio. Of course Kent can hear what Simon is saying.

Ever since, he was a little puzzled, and said worriedly: "Simon, you... Since you went to the army, I can't contact you anymore, what happened? And you... until now. Didn't take off that mask, what happened to you?"

"Hey..." Simon sighed first, trying to say something, but shook his head again, he wanted to say nothing.

Even if Simon wears a skull mask to block his expression, Kent knows that the other party must be very entangled. After thinking for a few seconds, he said: "Simon, actually...if you have anything, you can tell me, after all, I am your hair... "

"Okay, I'm okay." Simon interrupted Kent, and then reached out and tore off his mask.

I saw that Simon also had short blond hair, and his appearance was a typical handsome western guy. The color of his pupils was light blue, but his eyes were full of pain and sadness.

"Hehe." Simon gave a wry smile at first, then seemed to be talking to himself, and also as if he was telling Kent about his pains over the years:

"I joined the army five years ago, and due to my outstanding performance, I was selected by the special command of the joint army and transferred to the earth for special training.

Due to the confidentiality policy, I will not tell you the specific name of the unit...but our nature is similar to that of the Special Air Service (SAS) two hundred years ago.

In the third year of joining the army, my team and I were sent to the rainforests of South America on the earth to cooperate with the Delta Special Team. UU Reading www. uukanshu.com encircled and suppressed a drug cartel.

Due to the local traditional festival, ‘Day of the Dead’, each of us wears skull costumes and masks, trying to pretend to be inside the drug dealer group.

   But! "

Speaking of this, Simon almost gritted his teeth and said: "But! We were betrayed by the informant, the whole army was annihilated, the whole army was annihilated!"

After finishing speaking, Simon, a tough guy, silently shed a few tears.

"..." Kent used his peripheral vision to realize that Simon was sobbing secretly, but he didn't know what to say now.

Besides, Kent only knows that Simon (the ghost) is a cool character when playing games, but he never knows his background or why he wears a bone mask.

Even the memories of the two in my mind are happy memories of playing together as a teenager.

Kent had to hold the steering wheel with his left hand, and pat Simon's shoulder with his right hand, signalling Simon not to be too sad.

Immediately afterwards, Simon continued: "Five groups of 20 people, only Paz and I survived, and then were captured by drug dealers.

These drug dealers tried to use brainwashing to control us, but Paznin and I couldn't do it.

After five days of torture and interrogation, the drug dealer really had no choice but to finally decide to bury us alive. "

Simon paused at this time. Although his tone was calm, he could hear a faint trill, saying, "Paz died before being buried alive because of his injuries.

and I?

I... I bit the flesh off Paz's face with my teeth, I picked Paz's jawbone with my hand, and used part of his body to dig out a way to survive!

Actually I should be dead, but Paz resurrected me, so do you know how my mask came from? "
