Chapter 328 A time-saving and labor-saving instrument

Generally, he will conduct research and development in a virtual laboratory. The reason is very simple. Who knows that conducting research and development in a virtual laboratory saves time and trouble!

So after he had a new idea, he went to the rest room of the workshop, lay down on the bed in the rest room, and his whole ritual was immersed in the virtual laboratory.

The current virtual laboratory looks like a library. It is surrounded by bookshelves. There are countless books on the bookshelves. If you look carefully at the books on the bookshelves, you will know that these books are all about the brain. Books on radio waves.

These books contain almost all the knowledge about brain waves on the market, which he started to collect very early. What he has to do now is to study all this knowledge thoroughly.

Only after a sufficient understanding of brain waves can we start special research on the characteristics of brain waves.

A large number of reading tasks are waiting for him. This process is actually very boring, but because he is in a virtual laboratory, he is usually very focused when doing things.

With his unremitting efforts, he read through all the brain wave-related knowledge he had collected before. Reading this time gave him a clear understanding of brain waves.

What are brain waves? It is a method that uses electrophysiological indicators to record brain activity. When the brain is active, a large number of synchronized postsynaptic points of neurons are synthesized and formed.

In layman's terms, the changes in bioelectric waves produced when the brain is active are the overall response of the electrophysiological activity of brain nerve cells on the surface of the cerebellar cortex or scalp.

Brain waves have a wide range of uses. Brain waves can be used in the fields of education and entertainment, so brain wave technology can be regarded as a general cutting-edge technology.

As long as the cerebellum is active, brain waves will inevitably be generated. As long as the brain waves generated by the cerebellum are collected completely to form a brain wave database, the only thing left to do is to understand the meaning of those brain waves, and basically the translation of brain waves can be achieved. Purpose.

Of course, the brain waves translated by that model are translated into words, but what the cerebellum thinks is translated into what it is. Of course, that model is the foundation. Only by thoroughly studying the foundation can the previous work be carried out better. .

First of all, the first step is to collect the brain wave band performance and record it to correspond with the meaning. The fewer the correspondences collected, the less beneficial it will be to the current work.

The establishment of that set of databases is a less stressful job. It means that the difficulty is not small, but the work is too tedious, and it is still difficult to regress in the laboratory. Even if it is done in a virtual laboratory, it still takes a long time. Do it in reality.

In that situation, it is better to just do it in reality and it will be done once. Of course, the equipment for collecting brain waves still needs to be designed backwards in the virtual laboratory!

Fortunately, when I studied the robotic arm later, I had already collected a small enough number of neural signals, which also saved me a lot of trouble in the later stage when I was specifically studying brain waves.

The brainwave collection instrument was also developed based on my in-depth research on regression using the neural response system under the robotic arm!

I originally designed the unit that connects neurons under the arm in the form of a patch, and fixed the patch under the helmet. The helmet looks like a 3/4 helmet, but with or without Clear lens at the back.

The instrument was designed by me in the virtual laboratory, and I then entered and exited it.

Before returning to reality, I first asked Liu Xiaodong to contact the county hospital. Then, accompanied by Liu Xiaodong, I walked around the brain department of the county hospital, mainly looking at various medical equipment in the hospital. .

Even though that hospital is just a county-level hospital, the medical equipment outside must be withdrawn first, because the hospital is newly built, and all the equipment outside is also new, and because the Sizhou Divine Beast and County Hospital Subsequent cooperation and sponsorship have made the county hospital's hardware capabilities comparable to those of the top eighth-grade hospitals in the country.

Therefore, when it comes to equipment, the county hospital will definitely be withdrawn first. Then, after walking around, I was shown two pieces of equipment in the county hospital. After some negotiation, Li Zhenhua got the equipment.

Not to mention that Li Zhenhua and I are occupying medical resources. The two pieces of equipment I want to use are covered in dust. It can be seen that the equipment has no use at all on weekdays.

Without the equipment brought back from the county hospital, and without the neuron system that was later obtained when I lowered the mechanical prosthesis, my previous work became much less stressful.

Before the new medical equipment was cleaned, I moved it out of the workshop. Then I dismantled the equipment, removed the useless things from the equipment, and reused them according to my own design.

Then a cabinet as big as a refrigerator was born in my hand. There was a screen integrated under the cabinet, and together with the screen, there were mouse and keyboard input devices and audio and output devices.

The most important thing is a cable extending from the outside of the cabinet, and the other end of the cable is connected to a helmet.

The inside of the helmet is covered with patches. Before the device was built, I knew whether it was useless or not, so I realized it in the virtual lab and then ran some tests in the virtual lab.

The test result is good, the equipment I built can be used! After reaching such a result, the next step is to collect various brain waves outside reality!

Since there is no database for neuron analysis systems, my work of collecting the various meanings represented by brainwaves has become a little more complicated without any basic premise.

That kind of work is very consistent with the theorem that it is difficult to finish the work at the beginning, so without any preparation, my previous work progressed very smoothly.

Annotating the regression of various brain waves, band by band, is an extremely small workload, but when it comes to asking others to come and help me, there are really people who can help, and it often doesn’t matter one word. In my mind I have to keep thinking about that word for half an hour.

Only in this way can the brain wave frequencies I collect be accurate. When things are unfamiliar to me, the work will indeed progress quickly, but as the work becomes more and more varied, I will become more and more comfortable with the work.

As the meaning of brain waves is collected less and less, those newly collected brain waves are also used in previous work, so the follow-up work is getting slower and slower.

In two short months, I devoted my whole body and mind to the work of collecting brain waves. Regardless of how much time was consumed, the results achieved were really great.

The current brainwave database is large enough, and the effect is generally remarkable. The system can display everything in a person's mind in words.

In fact, there is no small commercial market at that level, but it is still far from the final effect I envisioned. The effect I envisioned should be to directly convert brain waves into pictures, but now it is text.

Of course, the step of translating into text is the prerequisite for converting it into pictures, and it is also the prerequisite for converting it into speech.

In other words, half of Wuxi's work has been completed. In fact, the later process of collecting brain waves is the most difficult. The previous transformation work is the sublimation of the later things.

The conversion work is all done under programming and decoding algorithms, just like a TV station transmitting an unlimited TV signal, and before the TV receives it, it goes through a common algorithm to convert it into images and sounds that humans can see and hear.

It sounds very complicated to say, but when it’s time to actually do it, it’s not that difficult!

After collecting all the brainwave information data comparison database, I completed my work in reality and returned to the virtual laboratory. The subsequent programming and decoding algorithm still progressed slowly in the virtual laboratory.

And especially now, the brainwave database has been collected and can be converted into text. This means that as long as I finish writing those programs in the laboratory, I can use the current brainwave translator to translate it into reality when I return to reality. Programs and other things are written at the slowest speed.

This saves time and effort, and later on, the problem of programming in reality, which usually gives me a headache, frees me from repetitive and repetitive labor.

Although the brainwave translation technology developed now is not a brain-computer transmission technology, and it has not yet reached this level with technology, it is still very time-saving and labor-saving.

I calculated comprehensively that this technology can save me ten times the time, and it still requires hands-on use, as long as the brain is used. After that, people were fixed behind the computer, but now they take off the transmission helmet and lie down directly. can be done.

It's just that when you use it, it's still not that difficult. This means that you can lose your mind and you have to concentrate to make mistakes. If your mind wanders, the fun will be small. What you imagine in your mind can be directly translated by the machine.

For the next period of time, I have been working on a program that allows the translator to directly form images and speech. Finally, a week ago, I finished all the brainwave stuff. After I actually tested it, everything was different. Runs poorly.

The fault tolerance rate is very low. Although it avoids some errors, it is completely sufficient for the present.

When that thing was built, I moved it back to my R\u0026D workshop and connected it to the main control computer room in the workshop to make the program run more slowly.

Now that the tools are ready, it's easy to follow up with the drawings of the aerospace fighter. You can take off the helmet and use the brainwave translator to directly shape the drawings.

The drawings of fighter planes were transferred from my brain to the computer one by one through the brainwave translator, and finally formed into electronic drawings and electronic files.

The development of the brainwave translator took me a total of seven months. During that time, the raw materials for the fighter planes that I and Wang Yuesheng requested later also arrived one after another during that time.

But that was seven months, was it wasted by me? No matter what, the brainwave translator that I spent all that time on was worth it, because even if I was building the machine, I would have devoted myself to drawing the drawings during that time.

There is a huge contrast between the speed of manually drawing drawings and using a translator to translate.

All the drawings of the fighter plane were ready, and even the operating programs that the machining center could recognize were all programmed by me using the brainwave translator. The development of that thing saved me a little time.

Once the drawings and materials were in place, I officially started the production of the Super Raptor modification.

The first thing to do is still the solar star energy core. Like the later energy core, all parts have been retrograde and changed.

Even the fuel tank containing helium-8 has changed, because I designed the fuel tank to be very small. Even if it can accommodate one pound of helium-8, there will be no problem.

The raw materials used for each part in the energy core are also the same. The same materials are fed into the processing center and the processing center is allowed to operate on its own while I just watch.

During the production of the Super Raptor, I never thought about grinding it again by hand before taking it out of the machining center. I planned it to be what it looks like when it comes out of the machine.

Because the fighter I built is going to be put into mass production, but is just a laboratory product. In order to produce it on a small scale now, we must start thinking about parts manufacturing and assembly of the previous fighter from now on.

As long as we consider this now, we will be in a hurry when we need to produce small quantities later.

All considerations must be taken in the long term, but there will definitely be problems ahead.

The processing accuracy of the fighter I chose is the accuracy that can be achieved by the giant machining center I built later. That processing accuracy is enough for that fighter.

There are not many parts that are used with that kind of precision. The accuracy of a small number of parts for fighter aircraft is controlled by me to be below the accuracy of a sub-level machining center.

There are also barriers to accuracy. At the current stage, there is still a four-state machining industry that has completed accuracy changes. Of course, it is not easy, but as long as sub-first-level machining centers are popularized in the early stage, such small-scale production will be a problem.

In my opinion, if the fighter jet really has to wait until small-scale production, it is estimated that the accuracy of Sizhou machining has already been iterated.

The time may be just right, just in time.

It can be said that that kind of processing accuracy was achieved after comprehensively considering the current situation of the four states.

All the parts of the energy core came from the machining center. They were not ground at all, so they were directly assembled by me. Although the accuracy was not as high as that of my manual processing, all the parts were within the usable range.

Just like that, I made ten sets of the solar star nuclear fusion energy core as soon as it was installed.

The machining center I built is also awesome. There are no problems with any of the parts in the middle. Even if there are thousands of parts for each energy core, there is no problem with any of them.

The probability of that situation happening is really too high, but it actually happened.

A total of 500 grams of helium-8 are used outside the energy cores of the ten solar stars, and the required helium-8 fuel has already been sent by the refining laboratory.

On the entire earth, the countries with the least helium-8 content are the four states. Our four states all use kilograms for the measurement unit of helium-8, while other countries still use grams, milligrams or even micrograms.

Load every 50 grams of helium-8 into the Sun Star fuel bin, and all ten fuel bins are installed. At this point, all preparations for the Sun Star Energy Core are complete.

Looking at the energy cores lined up in front of me in the workshop, a dark smile appeared on my face.

Before smiling, he took out his cell phone from his pocket and made a call with a smile on his face.
