Star Wars VRMMO: Galactic Expedition

(I just realized that I'm on part six of this arc. Damn. Sorry for the delay. I was sick and then was traveling. I'm at the ski condo right now drinking lol. Enjoy!)

Anakin, Obi Wan, and Tyler ran down the ramp. Their current goal was to save Padme who was being attacked by droids.

At the bottom of the ramp, the three Jedi launched into the air with the force as their propellant. They landed gracefully on top of a speeding maglev train.

Suddenly, two blaster bolts came flying at them from a group of three droids. Anakin and Obi Wan casually reflected the bolts, taking down two of the droids. The third droid visible shook its head and sighed. It was apparent that this battle droid must be one of the few that had survived an encounter with a Jedi.

As they finished with that, they looked back to see Padme shoving 3PO onto one of the trains. The golden droid bounced and then landed on another train heading in the opposite direction.

Tyler just shook his head. "Anakin, she really doesn't take care of that droid you gave her. I remember finding you when it was still half built."

Anakin sighed. "I'm not sure if she understands how much that droid means to me."

Tyler laughed. "Women, am I right?"

Anakin nodded. "You could say that again, master."

They then watched as Padme jumped onto the train that she intended for 3PO to land on.

Anakin panicked as he saw her jump. "Padme!"

Tyler shook his head. "She is fine. In fact, she has survived much worse. Did you forget Geonosis?"

Anakin sighed as he jumped off the train. Tyler and Obi Wan only watched. Getting C-3PO was also important as that droid undoubtedly had information in its memory banks that couldn't be seen by the enemy.

From the train above, Obi Wan and Tyler watched as Anakin flew through the air, floating to the train traveling adjacent to the one that Padme was on. The fall was at least 10 stories. This would kill any normal individual. However, the force essentially negates fall damage when used properly. It can be used to strengthen the body as well as slowing down the falling person. The combination of these two abilities effectively negates fall damage.

As all four of them were moving forwards on their respective trains, some droids emerged in a hall overlooking them. There was a B1 droid and two B2 droids. The B1 droid pointed at the track that Padme was on and the B2 aimed towards it. A rocket launched out of its arm, demolishing the track. A huge gap was now in the path of her train.

Padme started to panic. "The bridge is out!"

Anakin extended his arms to her and yelled. "Jump to me! I'll use the force, you have to trust me!"

Padme hesitated for a moment, turning her head to look at the gap in the track. If she didn't trust her husband, her death was imminent. The grind of the maglev train flying down the track, the arcs of electrical current snapping between the conducting plates, the air gushing past her. Each of these things contributed to the urgency she was being pressured by.

This is where Anakin stepped in. Reaching out with the force through his hands, he caught the senator that doubled as his wife. Her fall slowed to a halt as she began to ascend through the air under the gentle guidance of the force. He pulled her straight to him, engaging into a passionate embrace as they were reunited.

Their embrace was not only the result of her being saved from certain death. They had also not seen each other for weeks. With the Clone Wars raging, no military official, not even Tyler, had time to spare for their other half. The deprivation of romantic attention will cause even the most motivated person to take a hit.

Obi Wan smirked upon seeing this. "Nice catch. We'll fetch the droid!"

The fact that the protocol droid had top secret intel on it wasn't the only reason that he went to save C-3PO. The other reason was that he was one of the few individuals that knows that Anakin built that droid himself throughout his childhood. It was his masterpiece, his piece de resistance, his pride as an engineer. Nothing could compare to a creator's first or greatest creation.

Through their embrace, the couple shared a few words. They were presumably flirting with each other considering their relationship. It didn't take long before Anakin and Padme locked lips, engaging in a kiss that was worthy of their reunion.

Obi Wan and Tyler quickly descended through the air to another train. They needed to collect Anakin's prized creation.
