Star Wars VRMMO: Galactic Expedition

(If you are wondering where Darth Maul is, just think about the circumstances. There was a whole ȧss army and battle occurring and Palpatine didn't want to just throw away his apprentice.)

Following the Battle of Naboo, Padme gifted a building near the palace in order for Limitless to use it as an embassy. An embassy is similar to an outpost but there is one key difference.

An outpost is similar to how you purchase a store in a shopping center. You can't just tear down the entire building and rebuild however you want. However, you are able to personalize the inside.

On the other hand, an embassy works very similar to how it does in the real world. The owner of an embassy has complete control over everything on the property. It is kind of like a miniature country.

Tyler decided that he would have it built in the architectural style that aligns with the other buildings. It is quite a nice style anyways. If it is not broken, do not fix it.

In the days following the event, Tyler got some interesting notifications. As expected, he gained enough reputation with Padme for him to become friendly. In turn, his reputation with Palpatine went down to -3000 becoming unfriendly.

He also got a massive amount of reputation with the two Skywalkers. He is at 21000 reputation with Shmi so he is revered. With Anakin, he got 12000 to become honored.

The day after the battle, Obi Wan took the promotion test and was given the rank of Jedi Knight. In addition, the council also met with Anakin. After some intense convincing, they allowed Obi Wan to take him on as a padawan. Tyler also swore that he would help keep Anakin's emotions in check. That was one of the biggest concerns of the council.

In addition to all of this, Tyler managed to have his mom take on the politician class since she was still a civilian. When he was doing this, he also discovered something quite interesting. Civilian NPCs can take on non combat classes from the same class trainers as players. As a result, both Shmi and Julia are now politicians.

It was morning, three days after the Battle of Naboo. The sun rose over Coruscant and bled through the window of Tyler's master bedroom. As of late, three of the guest rooms in his suite are being used. The people staying with him include Kai, his mom, and Shmi.

Tyler woke up with the sun on his eyes. He squinted as he sat up in bed. He had a message. Earlier this morning, the last of the materials were delivered to Kuat. In addition, the two new fleets have garrisoned at their respective locations. Fortunately for the guild members that are participating in the garrisons, there are plenty of quests to complete on Kessel, since it is developing, and Coruscant, since it is the capital of the Galactic Republic. In addition, the third fleet was currently in the process of colonizing Scarif.

The income from Kessel is just bȧrėly enough to keep the guild afloat with its rapid expansion. Thus, they cut off recruitment when they hit 100k members. Once they secure more revenue channels, they would be able to continue expanding.

Tyler got up and clothed himself. There was a very important event occurring today in the senate and he would need to attend. Once he was in his formal wear, he stepped out of his bedroom and found his three flatmates waiting for him. The two moms were getting along very well.

Tyler smiled when he saw this. "Alright guys. Let us go and welcome Padme. She should be here soon."

The four of them walked over to the private hangar on the tenth floor. As they got there, Padme's Nubian starship was approaching the hangar. It landed and the ramp came down. Padme was dressed very differently from how she is usually dressed. Instead of the heavy makeup and extravagant dress, she now only wore a slightly less extravagant dress and had a common makeup job and hairstyle. She looked stunning.

Tyler smiled. "Padme, it is great to see you."

Padme walked up to Tyler and gave him a hug. "It is great to see you too Draco. Today is an exciting day and I'm happy I get to celebrate with my friends. Cynthia, Shmi, how are you two?"

Padme then walked over to the two moms and they started chatting it up. As they were doing this, the new queen of Naboo walked down the ramp. Tyler bowed. "Queen Jamillia, it is a pŀėȧsurė to meet you."

Jamillia nodded. "Lord Draco, I've heard a lot about you. It is great to know that we are allies."

Tyler nodded. "Let us all get some breakfast before we have to stand before the senate."

Everyone agreed and followed Tyler up to the rooftop restaurant. The moment they sat down, they were served an elegant spread of foods. Since the players have joined the game, many have brought cuisines and recipes from the real world. Things like bagels and eggs are now quite popular.

The group was about to start eating when the elevator for the rooftop opened up. Standing inside was Obi Wan and Anakin. The two walked over. "Lord Draco, unfortunately, Master Qui Gon is currently off world so he was unable to come."

Tyler waved his hand. "Don't worry about it. And Obi Wan, please call me Draco. We are friends."

Obi wan smiled. "That is good to know. Just a heads up, the council has requested your presence. It seems they want us to cooperate on an ȧssignment."

Tyler sighed. "Hopefully it isn't too boring."

Everyone laughed. After a hardy meal, everyone boarded an airspeeder and headed to the Senate Building.

An hour later, the Senate is in session.

Valorum called out to the chamber. "Welcome everyone. Today is a day to remember. First, I would like to thank Senator Palpatine for his extensive service to this Galactic Republic. Every day, he works hard for his people and I commend him for that."

There was a round of applause as Palpatine stood up and thanked everyone. "Thank you all for working with me over the years. It has been a pŀėȧsurė to get to know many of you."

Valorum nodded. "In addition to that, we have two more announcements to make. Firstly, Naboo has appointed a new senator. I would like to introduce the former Queen of Naboo, Senator Padme Amidala."

Padme stood up and waved to everyone as the chamber erupted in a round of applause. "Thank you all for the warm welcome. I hope to enjoy a peaceful and cooperative experience with each of you."

Valorum smiled. "Lastly, Kessel has now appointed a senator. Lord Draco was serving as the representative but now we have someone who will be dedicated to the position. I would like to introduce Senator Cynthia."

This time there was applause and cheering. Everyone has loved Kessel since they joined the Republic. The ability to send aid was good for publicity and the resources they traded were of utmost importance.

Julia stood up and waved to everyone. "Thank you, I look forward to working with you all."

Valorum smiled. It would seem that he has gained more allies. "Now, let us move on to today's agenda."

Tyler then said bye to his mom and left the senate building with Obi Wan and their padawans. Their next stop was the Jedi Temple.

It might seem weird that Tyler is rarely doing things with the guild but there is a reason for that. He had appointed another 2 Vice Guild Leaders in John and Kumbis. Those two, along with Xander, are taking care of everything related to the guild. They do this so that Tyler can continue to come across fortuitous opportunities throughout the galaxy.

They all stepped off the elevator outside of the council chambers. The door slid open revealing only half of the seats filled with people who were present. The other half were projections.

Windu smiled upon seeing the two master padawan duos. "Thank you for coming on such short notice."

Tyler nodded. "Of course. We would have been here sooner but I needed to be present for the appointment of Kessel's new senator."

Windu smiled. "It is good news that you are free of that burden. Politics can be a treacherous place for a Jedi."

Tyler chuckled. "Indeed. It is much more fun being out in the field."

Windu got serious. "Speaking of being out in the field, we have a joint ȧssignment for you and Obi Wan here. We have heard rumors of there being a cell of Dark Jedi on Moraband. The planet is formerly known as Korriban, home of the Sith. It is a place that is quite strong with the Dark Side since there are tombs of many powerful Sith Lords. The four of you are to investigate the reports. In addition, bring back any notable artifacts you may find."

*Quest Triggered: Investigate Moraband*

*Description: Formerly known as Korriban, this world is widely known as the home of the Sith Order. Investigate the planet and eliminate any dark forces that reside there.*

Tyler nodded. "We will do our best, Master Windu."

The group of four then left the temple. Tyler turned to Obi Wan. "Obi Wan, would you like to ride in one of my frigates with me? It will be a much more comfortable ride than our fighters."

Obi Wan smiled. "That would be great. Thank you, Draco."

About an hour later, they landed their fighters in one of the pelta class frigates that Limitless kept in high orbit over Coruscant. The four jedi navigated through the ship to the bridge.

"Good morning Guild Leader. My name is Private Johnson. I'm a core member. It is a pŀėȧsurė to meet you."

Tyler smiled. "It is great to meet you too. I really am happy that we are getting so many hilarious names in our guild. Did you know that we have an elder named Wolfgang Bang?"

Johnson laughed. "That is great. Anyways, where are we off to?"

Tyler sighed. "Set a course for Moraband, or Korriban. Whatever it is called in the nav system."

Johnson nodded. "I'll get on it immediately."

Tyler smiled. "Perfect."

He then turned around. "Gentlemen, let us go find somewhere comfortable to ride out the journey."

Several hours later, they arrived in high orbit over Moraband. The moment they came out of hyperspace, the four jedi felt a chill wash over them. "Master, it feels so cold."

Tyler sighed. "Kai, and Anakin too, listen closely. This entire planet is soaked in the Dark Side. Thousands of years ago, the Sith Order had an academy on this planet. It was similar to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. Nowadays, there are various abandoned Sith Temples scattered across the planet. At least they are supposed to be abandoned."

Kai and Anakin gulped. "It sounds dangerous down there." "Yeah, is it really okay for us to be here?"

Obi Wan chuckled. "Everything will be alright padawans. You both are more than capable of handling yourselves. Draco, how should we get down?"

Tyler thought for a moment. "We can either land our fighters on the surface, or we could have a gunship drop us off. I'd recommend the fighters in case we need them."

Obi Wan nodded. "Good thinking. Let's head out then."

*New Location Discovered: Moraband +100 EXP*

Tyler turned to the group. "Well, here we are. I wonder what kind of goodies we might find inside."

Obi Wan rolled his eyes. "Is everything about profit for you?"

Tyler scoffed. "What do you expect? I gotta fund my guild somehow."

Obi Wan shrugged. "That is a fair point."

Tyler then led the group into the temple. They formed up in a diamond formation. Tyler led in the front, the two padawans were in the middle, and Obi Wan brought up the rear. This was Tyler's idea as the Jedi don't have military training.

The temple was massive. It was made of dark stone and metal. Aside from the many statues and monuments, the design was quite minimalistic.

Tyler led the group over to one of the statues. It appeared that this one displayed Darth Bane. Bane was the Sith Lord who founded the Rule of Two. As he was inspecting the statue, he discovered a faint red glow emanating from behind it.

He walked to the backside of the statue and found a floating triangular prism that was glowing red. He used the force to pick it up.

*Item Obtained: Sith Holocron*

*Description: The Jedi Holocron is one of the many forms of loot boxes that can be found throughout the galaxy. The various tiers of these loot boxes include Common, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Epic, and Legendary.*

Tyler was shocked. He immediately called up Xander. "Yo, I got something that needs to be done immediately."

Xander perked up. "What is it?"

Tyler grinned. "I am currently on a quest for the Jedi Order. They sent me to investigate Moraband. It seems as if this place is home to countless artifacts. I just found an Epic Sith Holocron within 30 seconds of being inside. I want you to gather as many force sėnsɨtɨvė and core members as possible and send them to Moraband. I have a feeling that there is more to this planet than it seems."

Xander nodded. "I'll get it done immediately." He then hung up.

Tyler looked at the holocron with extreme fervor. He couldn't wait so he opened it right away.

*Item Obtained: Han Solo's Lucky Dice*

*Rank: Epic*

*Description: Belonging to Han Solo, this pair of golden dice on a chain was a good luck charm. This item will provide +30 Luck to the holder.*

'Wait, luck is a stat?' It turns out that Luck is a hidden stat. With this item, he would be able to pull much better items from the loot boxes.

Obi Wan turned to Tyler. "We have company."

Metallic footsteps could be heard in the distance, getting closer with each passing second. Suddenly, a large, black droid with red eyes rounded the corner.

*Sith Combat Droid*

The droid reached to his back and unsheathed a red lightsaber. It then jumped at the group. Responding quickly, Obi Wan used the force to throw it against a wall before throwing his saber and beheading it. He then used the force to summon the saber back to him.

Killing enemies that are a lower level rewards lower amounts of experience. The group walked over to what was left of the droid and inspected it. After a few seconds, it disintegrated leaving a torn piece of parchment. Tyler bent down and picked it up.

*Item Obtained: IG-88 Design Fragment*

*Description: This is a fragment of an engineering design. Collect all 12 fragments to complete the design.*

It would seem that this temple could be quite the place to farm for items. Tyler turned to the group. "Let's keep moving. We don't want to get trapped by a swarm of those things."

The group continued forward. Through some meticulous navigation, they managed to cover the entirety of the structure. Tyler had collected 8 design fragments, and 4 holocrons. One of them was epic, one was gold, and the other two were silver. They entered the last unexplored room.

Once they entered, a door slid shut behind them. 10 droids dropped from the ceiling and ignited their crimson blades. Tyler shouted out. "Padawans, take two each. Obi Wan, we will handle the rest."

They nodded and got into position. Tyler and Obi Wan rushed forward and pulled aggro on three of the droids each. The remaining four targeted the two padawans.

Tyler employed a defensive style since he was outnumbered. The three droids in front of him pulled back their sabers to prepare for a strike. The one on the left was using a short swing that maintained the ability to guard a counter. The middle one was jabbing towards him. The right one had its saber lifted over its head.

This was his opening. Tyler rolled to the right and then spun around quickly to send a droid flying in pieces as his saber sliced through it. He then realized that these droids were much weaker than he thought.

With this in mind, he went on the offensive with a flurry of powerful strikes. He continuously swung his saber at the droid and in between swings he would parry their strikes.

Making use of his speed, he sidestepped a downwards strike and then countered with a swing to the neck. He beheaded the droid leaving one left.

For the last one, he jumped away to create some distance and lifted the droid using the force. He then closed his hand into a fist and crushed the final droid like a tin can.

Without hesitation, he looked to his companions. Kai and Anakin had both taken down one of their droids and were on the offensive with the second. On the other hand, Obi Wan was observing his padawan while effortlessly parrying the strikes of his remaining droid. He was not even looking.

Tyler scoffed. "Show off."

Hearing this, Obi Wan parried another strike and stabbed his saber straight through the droid's face. Just a few seconds later, the two padawans had taken care of their droids.

Now that they were out of combat, Tyler went to inspect the drops. From those 10 droids, he got the 3 of the remaining 4 fragments of the design. One other item dropped that he had not seen yet.

*Item Obtained: Sith Temple Keystone*

*Description: This item is used to unlock the dungeon within the Sith Temple it was found in.*

As he picked it up, it started glowing red. Suddenly, flames started igniting in lanterns on the walls. The room was gradually illuminated. When the last two flames ignited, a set of large stone doors was revealed. They had a slot in the middle that was the same size as the keystone.

Tyler walked over to it and placed the keystone into the slot. Once it was close, it was pulled out of his hand and into the slot. He instinctively stepped back as the doors started rumbling.

They slowly opened to reveal a dimly lit hallway. At the beginning of the hallway, there was another path that split off to the right.

*New Epic Dungeon Discovered: Sith Catacombs +100 EXP*

Obi Wan turned to Tyler. "What is that place? I've never seen anything like it."

Tyler thought for a moment. "It seems to be some sort of dungeon. Let's check out the path on the right and see if we can find what we came for."

Tyler then led the group into the side room. When they turned into the path, they saw a large metal door at the end. Tyler ignited his lightsaber and started cutting an opening into the door.

Once he cut out the hole, he used the force and pulled out the section. Inside was a well lit room with various artifacts all over the place. There were several Sith Holocrons, some designs, and many old books. One particular item caught Tyler's eye. There was a black cloak draped over a mannequin. He walked over and picked it up.

*Item Obtained: Darth Revan's Cloak*

*Rank: Legendary*

*Description: This cloak was worn by the legendary Sith Lord, Darth Revan. His spirit and teachings are ingrained in the cloak.*

*Stats:

All Attributes +20%

Passive 1: This cloak is ingrained with the teachings of Darth Revan. Reduces the risk of being consumed by the dark side of the force when making use of it.

Active 1 - Incognito: Hides your information from others.*

This item was perfect for him. It would give him a way to sneak around covertly. Doing so without the cloak would prove to be quite difficult since he is so well known throughout the galaxy.

Next, he walked around the vault and picked up the other items. For the Sith Holocrons, he got 2 legendary, 3 epic, and 4 gold holocrons. He also found the final fragment he needed for the design.

*Item Obtained: IG-88 Assassin Droid Design*

*Rank: Legendary*

*Description: This is the complete design for the IG-88 Assassin Droid. The IG-88 ȧssassin droid, also known as the IG-88 series droid, was the model of a set of five identical ȧssassin droids manufactured by Holowan Laboratories during the final decades of the Galactic Republic. Upon their activation, the droids slaughtered their constructors and escaped their laboratories into the galaxy. One of these droids, IG-88, was an independently programmed IG-88 ȧssassin droid who became a feared bounty hunter during the Galactic Civil War.*

He also got a few other designs and books.

*Item Obtained: 3PO-Series Protocol Droid Design*

*Rank: Bronze*

*Description: The 3PO-series protocol droid was a model of protocol droid produced by Cybot Galactica sometime prior to the Invasion of Naboo. They were equipped with a TranLang III communication module, and as a result were fluent in over 6 million forms of communication. C-3PO was an example of this model, though he was rebuilt out of spare parts.*

*Item Obtained: Medical Stimpak Recipe*

*Rank: Epic*

*Description: This is the recipe for the Medical Stimpak. On use, the product will instantly restore up to 20% max HP and heal up to 5% max HP each second for 10 seconds.*

*Item Obtained: The Dark Side by Darth Revan*

*Rank: Legendary*

*Description: This book was written by the Sith Lord, Darth Revan. He recorded his teachings for future generations to discover.*

These three items on top of the holocrons and other designs were huge. In addition, Tyler found a dungeon! He also got a legendary item. Unfortunately, they did not find any trace of Dark Jedi at this temple.

Suddenly he got a call. "GUILD LEADER! THERE ARE HOSTILE NPCS OVER HERE WITH RED LIGHTSABERS!"

Tyler sighed. "Well that was easy. Send me your coordinates. I'll be there shortly." He then hung up before turning to his group. "We need to get out of here now. My ȧssociates discovered the location of the Dark Jedi."

They all ran out of the temple and boarded their fighters. Fortunately, the location they were headed to was only a short distance away. Once they arrived, Tyler recognized the structure and geography. This was the Sith Temple in the Valley of the Dark Lords! Otherwise known as Darth Bane's final resting place.
