"Good day..."

"It's okay. You just have to be you."

I said that gently to Laurier, who sat next to me with a worried expression. The place is in the carriage... after a month until Laurier's third birthday - today it will be the first meeting of the aristocratic child.

Well, though, since the formal face-to-face is five, is this something like that outpost?

Today, it is Serena's birthday, the second princess of this country... but only a young lady of the same age as Serena takes on a special form of participation with the Lord.

Well, I have the purpose behind finding Serena's friend and the fact that if she had any other children in that house, being able to have an edge would be a great plus... but I told Laurie not to have to explain such adult circumstances to Laurier, so I told her to take it easy.

"It's not a good idea to be polite to the princess... but I remember what Laurier has learned so far, and if she can do as she always does, she'll be fine."

"But... whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.

It's a dialogue I don't think of as a child before I turned 3... but I can tell I'm nervous, so I grabbed Laurier's hand gently and relaxed my powerful fingers and said.

"You don't have to feel it. If you can be close to Master Serena, and if you can't, you can at least just let me finish by saying hi. Of course, the house is important... but before you do, it's important that Laurie can be as Laurie."

"Be me..."

"Yes. I'm more than happy for me to be the usual kind and caring Laurier."

Laurier nodded a little calmly when she said that. Well, as the head of the Duke's house, he might be right to ask his children more greedily about the house... but I don't mind if my family is - the kids are happy.

Sure, getting along with Princess Serena here would be a lot of convenience later - but I don't want Laurier to be able to do it at all. I don't know much about Princess Serena... but if she was a disgusting opponent, because I sincerely think Laurie would be pathetic if it came to diminishing her mind in conjunction with that opponent.

The world, of course, will need patience sometimes - but still, as a child, it's normal to protect parents if they can.

Leaving aside the issue of the house, if Laurier can't get along with Princess Serena, then I don't think that's okay.

Well, I don't know how important it is to go along with how unpleasant someone would be in the common sense of the aristocratic world, where relationships are important - but I don't think it's ever strange that Laurier has the kindness not to force me to do it.

Of course there will be times when that kind of hard experience is needed. I won't deny that, but - the experience of that hand is minimal. At least Laurier has endured loneliness. Then it would be natural for parents to protect their children from here until they find a person who would be the support of - Laurier.

"Laurie... you're a smart, sweet kid, so you're gonna have a lot of patience, but - more, you can count on me or your mother."

"But... it's nice to have you and Mama..."

"It's natural to make time for kids. You're my precious daughter and Sasha's."

Saying that, I gently stroked Laurier's head. - Laurier tickled and then gave her a pleasant look. The adorable look on my face like a kitten is really just like my mother's - I don't have the thought of having a stomachache when I think of putting such a cute child in my daughter-in-law one day - or rather a parent idiot, but I loved my daughter so much that my stubborn father was not willing to give me the daughter of the house unless I was a better man.

"Anyway... because Laurier just needs to be Laurier as usual. You don't have to worry too much."

"Yes, sir."

Did it work a little, Laurier seemed a little out of strength... but, well, I still can't help but get nervous, so I grabbed my hand softly and then said gently.

"I'm definitely holding Laurier's hand until the venue... so don't worry"

"Yeah... your old... shin..."

"Unlike your mother, you don't have beautiful hands."

Laurier said so with her neck covered.

"Oh, that's so sweet of you... and that's so warm of you all..."

"Well... well, anyway - I'll never let Laurier go until the venue, so I'll be fine."

"... yeah!

Laughing like the sun - Again, I was desperate to keep that from appearing on my face because I could confirm once again that my daughter was cute. Sometimes I feel like I got a sinister Osama dele face or something... but I can't deny Laurier had the look of wanting to be a great father.
