Kiryu's eyes widened when he heard her say those words. What is she talking about?

"If I have lost my memories, those two would try to take advantage of my weakest moments right?"

What on earth- Kiryu paused midthought when he saw the expression on her face. It seems she is serious about this. But why would she do something that could potentially harm her?

"You shouldn't mess with memories, you never know what will happen."

"I know."

"No you-" Kiryu sentence broke off when Lila took out a small flower globe from her bedside table. It was the first time he got such a closer look at it. But now that he did he sensed a familiar power, isn't this Atsuro-sans -?

"I asked Atsuro-san a few months ago. If there was any way to temporarily erase my memory and this is the answer he gave me. I didn't mean to do this during the time when we first learned about Haruka's death, I acted based on my emotions and used it wrong. But it seems my plan is still working."

Right it is, that was the first time Rosalia has shown herself in a long time. Damn, to think Atsuro-san knew about this. Perhaps maybe even the old man? Kiryu noticed that he didn't get any detailed advice on it despite asking the ȧduŀts. Some most-likely didn't know but he knew they could tell something was amiss about the situation.

So this was the reason why.

"Lila you--"

"I must have worried you."

Kiryu pointed to her arm and the girl panicked. "Eh, a cut? Why?"

He pointed to her other arm, her neck, and her legs. "You keep cutting yourself whenever you think Haruka is dead. You throw up violently and you lose control of your powers too."

Lila laughed sheepishly. "Uh, so this is what I meant by I used it at the wrong time. Atsuro-san did warn me that I shouldn't use this when I am emotional or when something bad happens. But then again, it wouldn't be believable if I didn't use it in a bad situation."

Indeed if she lost her memories randomly it would make no sense. The two people she is trying to lure out would find it suspicious instead.

"Even then, this is too careless of you." Kiryu muttered.

She most likely has no idea how badly he has suffered from this incident.

"I know. I also know that you don't take advantage of the situation." Lila laughed softly. "When I recall those moments after returning to normal I laugh."

"Are you sure about that? I keep kissing you."

"But you never do anything else, even though you could."

Indeed that is true but he still felt weird about all of this. "When the sun rises you will lose your memories again. Before that happens, you have to tell me everything."

"Everything?"

"Tell me all your plans Lila, we have to work together to save Haruka."

Lila blinked puzzled. "Kiryu, I thought you were upset-"

"I am." Kiryu interjected. He is still against the idea of her transferring her life force to Haruka. But, at this rate Haruka will die.

Kiryu never held a grudge against Haruka for taking Lila away from him. He accepted from the beginning that Lila was never his. Each year after the incident when they were kids, Kiryu waited for Haruka to take her away. He remembers the pain and agony of those days clearly.

It was difficult for him to be happy, he did not know when Haruka would take Lila. He waited for so long, but each time Haruka appeared in front of Lila something would happen that would separate them. He was secretly glad. Like this maybe he could be with her for longer. When he confessed her feelings for her, it was on an impulse. He didn't want her to hate him, or misunderstand the situation with Rosalia.

But right after they started dating Haruka came along as a judge from the tournament Lila became interested in. It was an odd twist of fate and yet it was fate nonetheless. Just when he was about to get a glimpse of his happiness and future with her, Haruka appeared.

Lila sighed deeply but nodded. "Then Kiryu listen carefully."

After that serious conversation at night, her transformation during the day surprised him.

"Kiryu, um could we go somewhere soon? We've both been really busy."

"That reminds me, we haven't gone on a date yet."

"Date? We're going on a date?

Pfft, what's with that reaction of hers. Didn't they already go on a date before they started going out? Well, he doesn't mind this reaction either. She's cute.

"Where would you like to go?" It's better to ask her than decide for himself.

"Ah! The planetarium. A much larger one has opened up at the edge of town. It's a bit far away, but can we go Kiryu?"

A planetarium. Although there are going to be lights .. ..due to the star effect, it's still going to be pretty dark.

"Maybe you should pick something else."

Why?

"Because it will be dark there."

"But you said you won't take advantage of me."

Right he said something like that after she lost her memories, and even after he told her the truth. Kiryu reassured her that he would not do anything. But he struggling here.

Honestly, she's really going to make him lose whatever self-control he has. Will she . . . still smile so brightly and call his name cheerfully when she finds out? On some days he's tempted to purposely break his limiter to find out.

If he breaks her, will these feelings shatter? Like those other women. Once he broke them, what little attachment and acknowledgment he had towards them disappeared in a heartbeat. Will it be the same for Lila?

After he's done with her, could he throw her away like all the others?

It's stupid thinking such things, he already knows the answer all too well. He loves Lila. No matter what happens. His heart, body and soul is already hers. It's hers, and hers alone. A person like him that's not capable of loving fell for her. That already answers any random questions that would pop up. His love for her, a feeling that only continues growing more.

His gaze fell on Lila who was now fiddling with her phone. "Do you want to watch more videos? I will connect it for you."

It would be better for her to watch on the large screen right?

"Uh-huh." Lila trailed off. She looked troubled before saying. "Kiryu, there is this section on my phone I can't access. Maybe it is due to my memory loss but I can't remember the password."

Kiryu took one look at the amount of digits required and mumbled. "The middle date from your birthday and Harukas."
