Shut-in Magician

017 Life in Wangdu

Siu's every day since coming to Wang capital is a regular common life without doing a single adventurous thing.

Wake up early in the morning, gymnastics, cleaning and preparing breakfast. Make bread or cook rice. Now it's still time for trial and error, and I'm tenacious that it makes sense to make it every day.

Then I prepare and feed Ferres rice, and I eat breakfast myself while I let him play.

Grandpa Stan wakes up when I've cleaned up and even cleaned the garden.

Speak up to the main house and cut bread and other hems as a taste, and you'll be ready to stick Ferres in your chest and go to the market.

Often we just look around in the market.

Because of the momentum of buying and trading at first, I still don't have what I need.

Not only did I buy it here, but I also sold it a lot.

When I casually said there was rock pig meat in a conversation with Anna, the merchant, he called me to sell it from all over the place.

Rock hog meat is said to be popular and sold for a pretty high price.

However, since the space vault is a secret, you can't possibly wholesale a lot of it.

I had no choice, so when I gave Lupus fur, this one was surprisingly expensive to buy. They say it's more expensive than having them buy it in the guild. I guess the difference is for the commission.

Other releases of demonic nuclei and excess demonic stones.

I want to use these for grant magic myself, so I leave some of them behind.

Thanks to this, more people in the market greeted me as face-to-face.

Next, hang around the city and burn the actual map to the back of your brain.

I understand the view because I use not only omnidirectional exploration but also overlooking, but it is better to see it with my own eyes.

That's how I enjoy the view while I take a walk and go back to the Belius Toolstore once.

So go with Grandpa Stan and Emina to the Vurst dining room for lunch, or go into the dining room you see on the way for a walk. I was also looking forward to finding a bakery.

I often go to the library in the afternoon.

I've already recorded all the books, so I don't have to go, but sometimes the atmosphere is good and when I study there, I progress.

I was just deciding to leave the library when he got tired of taking Ferres.

Yes, even the library can take you in if you're a rare beast child.

However, if it is noisy or dirty, it is a reduction.

When you don't go to the library, you show your face to the guild.

I used to say that courses sponsored by the guild looked interesting because they were free.

Workshops are sometimes paid, but I don't feel that they fit and I haven't applied.

And in the afternoon the guild was idle and suitable for children like Sioux to relax and explore.

I'm full of adventurers coming in the morning looking for a job request, so sometimes I'm killing myself and I can't keep up.

Occasionally I also go to a beast rider I know via Anna.

There are horses there too so I take care of them and play and ride with the beast.

Playing with the other kids, Ferres didn't seem to like it a bit, so it was funny that he would slap me with his tail.

Grow up fast and get Siu on board, he said he's strained.

That was taught to me by the Tutor.

It's just a kid going out of the way to play, but it didn't get me in the way because it means introducing Anna, taking Ferres or taking good care of the horses.

Rather, these days, it feels like thanks for taking care of me for free.

Siu is also glad to see the Tutorial Magic up close.

And I also learned the reality that a significant number of riders are being bought and sold.

That's how the sun starts to set as we play, so we head back to the Belius Tool Store.

When you enter the store from behind, Emina and Akiera wait and start studying.

Akiera was very reluctant at first after school to help the store and because she was studying.

Still, it seems to interest me to hear that my good friend Emina has made it easy to use magic.

Now Emina has learned the magic of simple fire and water, and is in the next phase, that is, studying calculations.

Anyway, I'm also teaching Akiera, so Akiera still only remembers ignition.

"You're not surprisingly hard to teach like this!

Emina is just excited to have a simple four-rule calculation.

I'm a little curious about the way you teach at school, Siu.

Even though Akiera is the same age as Siu, it's so much so that she was calculating with her hands.

Even the temple teaches me a little more properly. And I don't put it in my mouth, but I think.

I just didn't know Siu, but even the temple where Siu was doesn't really teach that much. It's just that the study was progressing because the clergyman was so uptight about this that he swallowed it fast.

Normally, I have the help of my parents, and I can't remember that easily.

Not to mention that when magic is available, there are other means and choices of living, and unless you're aiming for an official or something, you're not supposed to seriously study arithmetic (not math).

Even so, if you're involved in management, you need a minimum computational capability.

"Well, I'll give you an example next time"

Emina looked fed up when Siu put out a handmade set of problems.

"Well, there's more."

"Emina, at least I need to be able to make a change in the reckoning"

I put it softly and modestly, Emina was disappointed and depressed.

"... I just know..."

You can ask someone who specializes in books, and that's how personal stores are mostly abused.

There's just nothing I can't do because Grandpa Stan is all alone right now. Or as for Siu, I would recommend that to Emina. 'Cause it costs money for that if you ask a specialist. There's nothing you can do to save money.

So I was recommending this from close quarters and calculations in the spirit of

"This store has deals from other countries, right? The adventurers are coming."

"... yeah"

"It's not just Rocca, it's Adolu Delita Roccal, and they're all available now, right? If you decide to use Rocca currency because you don't like it, your customers will get away with it. It's a hassle to buy it on purpose until you exchange it."

"Yeah, hey."

"I'm sorry to keep you waiting."

"Well, that's right."

"So hang in there?

"Mia!

Emina, who was depressed, also laughed bitterly at Ferres' exquisite companionship.

"Right. It's about me, isn't it? I'll do my best!"

Next to it, Akiera was just solving even a set of additionality and deduction problems.

This doesn't mean the answer is right or wrong, it's hurrying it up fast.

I could already add up and deduct, so all I had to do was compete for speed and make it like a game.

If possible in time, pass the cookies made by Siu as snacks.

None if you can't.

Crispy cookies made with germinated flour were popular and I was looking forward to not only Akiera, but Emina as well.

Finally, it's on with bait.

"Done!

"Yes, then show me"

Sarasa did her gaze from top to bottom, and she passed because it fit except for one mistake.

"You're in the wrong place here. If you're in a hurry, you're gonna make a big mistake, but when you get used to it, you're gonna lose it."

Hi, and give me a sachet with cookies.

"Thank you. I'll do my best."

"Yeah."

"Will you make another set of questions?

Fine, answer and look at Emina at hand. This one was going well.

Dinner may be eaten at the Belius family or with Ferres at a house away from home.

There are many vegetable shops in the Wang capital, and they are very helpful to working housewives and Emina often uses them when she is tired of studying.

Siu often made his own except for lunch because he likes to cook and is used to it.

I eat alone at home, especially when cooking with rice.

When I ate with Grandpa Stan, I cooked and brought Steyburn-style dishes.

I don't know if I would recommend it to someone I'm not used to, but Siu wasn't convinced by the flavor anymore.

At the finished dawn, he said he must taste it, and Grandpa Stan said he's more interested in other country dishes than Siu, and I look forward to that time.

I used to go around the countries when I was younger, Grandpa Stan, so I guess I miss cooking from other countries.

He calmed down because he was old and Emina's parents, or Grandpa Stan's son and his wife, were successively ill and dead.

The evening conversation with Grandpa Stan was also calmly spelled out about such a past.
