RWBY: Fireborn

Logan: "Ozpin!" Logan shouted in Ozpin's ear as soon as he picked up. "I'm coming in hot with a Wendigos on top of me! Get all the teachers ready at the landing pads!" As Logan was shouting, a Wendigo appeared in front of the ċȯċkpit glass and smashed through with a single hit. "Not today you piece of shite!" Logan shouted and dropped his scroll and pulled one of his [Crescent Moons] and fired into the Grimm.

Ghost, who was in the back with his daughter, pulled his gun and fired three shots into a Wendigo's head that made a small hole in the side of the Pelican. His aim still true even after nearly ten minutes of constant rolling and flips from Logan's piloting skills. But even with Logan's skills, many Wendigos were still clinging to the sides of the Pelican like a yandere girlfriend.

Ghost: "Got any ideas on how to get rid of these things?!" Ghost shouted to Logan.

Logan: "One, but you're not gonna like it!" Logan shouted back.

Ghost: "Shoot!" Ghost shouted as he fired into another Wendigo making a hole to see through.

Logan: "I climb up on top and drag as many as I can away while you get out of here with your daughter." Logan shouted his plan. "You can fly one of these, right?"

Ghost: "Yea I can!" Ghost shouted. "But are you sure you want to do that?!"

Logan: "Got any better any better ideas?!"

Ghost: "No!"

Logan: "Then get ready to which!"

As soon as Logan said that, Ghost got ready to switch as fast as he could. And on Logan's signal, Ghost rushed into the ċȯċkpit while Logan climbed out the hole the Wendigo made. Once outside, Logan spread as much of his ash as he could and grabbed every Wendigo he could sense. With a massive heave, Logan pulled them over to one side and jumped off with them.

Logan watched as the Pelican took off without him and cursed as two Wendigos managed to hold on despite his best efforts. Though they were missing many pieces of them that were being slowly regenerated as they flew off. His thoughts were redirected when one of the Wendigos he pulled with him smacked his head hard. Logan retaliated by burning the Grimm with his crimson flames as much as he could as they fell. Soon their fall came to an abrupt halt as Logan, with the mass of Grimm that was still bound by his ash, hit the top of a tall, decrepit building hard enough to go through several floors.

Logan fell hard, hard enough for his aura to be depleted after the fall and crack several bones easily. To make matters worse, several chunks of debris fell on top of him, making things already harder than need be. Thankfully there was no Wendigo insight as they were deep under the rubble that fell. Groaning, Logan began to shift the rubble off him.

.

Logan: "Okay... not... my best landing." Logan ġrȯȧnėd as he started shifting some larger pieces of rubble off of his legs. "Still better than the time I landed on an Ursa," Logan said as he sat up. "Two, three,... five floors? How am I only his badly hurt?"

As Logan was talking to himself, he began going over what he had on his person and [Inventory]. Logan took stock of what he had as his aura refilled then took out his [Cresent Moons]. As his senses spread out, he dodged to the left as a Wendigo broke through where he was standing. The Wendigo was heavily damaged and Logan just unloaded into the things face and ċhėst.

As the Wendigo's head exploded, it slumped onto the ground. Logan then dodged again as another one broke through the ground and took a swipe at Logan. This time, however, Logan couldn't attack as more kept popping up and appearing. By the time Logan got away from all the Wendigos, he realized that there was more here than there was on the Pelican.

Logan: 'Since when did Wendigos colonize? That and near dilapidated ruins at that?' Logan thought as he counted nearly thirty of them. 'Not to mention, there is no way a Bull could control this many.' Logan thought as he sweat-dropped.

.

Logan and the Wendigos had a stare-off with each other as they waited for the other to make the first move. Just as Logan was about to attack, the Wendigos backed off and bowed their heads as two Wendigo Bulls walked forward. One appeared to be a male wearing a black suit and tie while the other appeared to be a female wearing a black summer dress. Both of them had an air of royalty around them as they approached Logan. The odd thing to Logan was that they were holding hands

.

With a snap of the male Bull's fingers, two Wendigos bright a table and chairs for the Bulls. The two Bulls sat down without taking their glowing ethereal, blue eyes off of Logan. Soon, the female Bull raised her hand. Logan tensed as he felt a heavy weight descend upon him. Then the female Bull lowered her hand towards Logan, causing all the Wendigos to charge.

Logan began by dodging left and right to get away from the horde while trying to get out of the building he was in. However, for each swipe, jab, claw, and punch that was thrown his way, several more came flying at Logan. Soon, Logan was thrown hard against a wall that broke apart from the hit. Logan grunted as he quickly stood back up and faced the Wendigos.

Taking a deep breath, Logan launched himself at the horde. Shooting, slicing, stabbing and burning his way through the wall of Grimm before him. But, due to the Wendigo's natural resistance, almost everything he did was for not. Almost every bullet wound, cut, stab, and slice healed almost as soon as it happened. it was only thanks to Logan's crimson flames that he could put a dent into the horde.

Logan: "Three down, only 27 more to go." Logan said grimly. "This is gonna be one hell of a party, might as well get to it," Logan said to himself grimly as he pulled his pistols out and ash started to form a heavy and dense cloud around him.

{At Beacon with Glynda}

Glynda sighed as she forcefully calmed herself down and waited for the last of her handpicked team to arrive. She had picked a total of ten people that were mainly Faunus due to their enhanced senses along with Team Ruby as they were the most familiar with Logan's fighting style. She knew that alone, she would be useless.

Ruby: "Everyone's here Professor!" Ruby declared to Glynda.

Glynda: "Thank you, Ms. Rose." Glynda said as she stood in front of the group. "Everyone load up! You'll be briefed on the way!"

.

In less than a minute, the ten-man team was loaded onto the pelican and took off towards Mountain Glenn. On their way, Glynda explained to them that it was a rescue mission. She also informed them that they may face one or more Wendigos that may have been weakened by Logan. Some were worried that it would be a suicide mission but Glynda expressed that it would be a search, retrieve, and run type of mission. Their priority was the recovery of Logan Scarlett and the possible elimination of any Wendigo within reason.

They sighed in relief when they realized they didn't have to fight something out of their league should they come a crossed one. But then one of them asked what happened for this to happen. Glynda told them the lie Ozpin made, saying that Logan was tasked to bring in two VIPs due to information one of them had. However, upon retrieval of the two of them, Logan was beset by a Wendigo Bull and its group.

.

All of them paled when they heard about the Wendigo Bull. They understood that even a weak Bull could easily wipe them out in an instant should they falter for a second. Ruby and her team all closed their eyes, each understanding that they needed their head in the game. As soon as the pilot stated they were above Mountain Glenn, Ruby got up and headed into the ċȯċkpit with Glynda following behind her. After talking to the pilot for a few minutes as they hovered, she and Glynda came back out and Ruby headed to her team.

Ruby: "RWBY! We're dropping here!" Ruby shouted to her team. "A nearby building shows signs of recent combat, we'll start our search there. Remember, we're here just to grab Logan and retreat. Don't worry about fighting all the Grimm you see, just find Logan."

Glynda: "The rest of us will search the surrounding area in the meantime." Glynda followed up. "While they search the building, we'll keep a lookout for any other signs of battle. Keep your eyes open and don't drop your guard for a second. This is an actual mission, everyone!"

.

As soon as the two women finished talking, the pilot opened the back of the Pelican up. Ruby and her team were the first ones to jump out and dive straight to the ground. As they descended, several Ursas and an Ursa Major came crawling out from a nearby shop. Team RWBY shared a glance before acting.

Ruby rolled over to Yang and grabbed her arm then used her semblance to slingshot Yang down like a rocket onto the Ursa Major. Before Yang could hit the ground, Ruby shot over to Weiss and Blake and grabbed them before following Yang as fast as she could. Yang then slammed into the Ursa Major with enough force to crater the ground and turn the Major into dark particles instantly along with a few Ursas. less than a second later, Ruby, Weiss, and Blake landed and spread out quickly killing the last of the Ursas.

Once the area was secured, the Pelican descended and landed on top of a one-story shop on the other side of the street. After clearing the surrounding block, Team RWBY left to go check the building while Glynda took half of the remaining team to go search and left the other half to guard the Pelican and patrol the area.

.

As RWBY entered the building's bottom floor, it was eerily quiet. No sound was present and even the air seemed dead as there was no wind. Ever so slowly, they cleared the entire bottom floor before moving onto the next. Room after room, floor after floor, they moved as one to eliminate any chance of being surprised as they searched for Logan.

.

Weiss: "I found something!" Weiss then called out once they reached the tenth floor.

Ruby: "What did you find?" Ruby asked as the team grouped up on Weiss.

Weiss: "It's one of his pistols. From the looks of it, one of the Wendigos smashed it out of his hands." Weiss said as she showed them the gun.

Yang: "Damn, it must have got the jump on him." Yang said as she saw the gun.

Ruby: "Blake, can you hear anything?" Ruby asked as she took the gun from Weiss.

Blake: "There's nothing- wait." Blake started saying before catching something. "Four, maybe five floors up I think. I can hear what sounds like Grimm moving around."

Ruby: "Then we have our first real lead." Ruby said as she pocketed the gun. "We continue as we were. Remember, check for blind spots and corners. We don't need any Grimm getting the jump on us."

The rest of the team nodded their heads and headed out. They moved as a team once again up two floors, on the third, the fourth and fifth floor came collapsing down on their heads. Yang reacted the fastest by shooting her gauntlets into the falling rubble, destroying most of it. Weiss then used her semblance in addition to Ice Dust and made a wall of ice to shield them from the rest.

As they were preoccupied with the falling rubble, a Wendigo charged them from the front. Ruby and Blake opened fired while Yang reloaded quicked before joining. While the Wendigo was taking hits, it grabbed a big piece of rubble and throw it at the girls. Weiss then quickly stabbed her rapier into the ground and summoned a Arma Gigas with a shield and sword to block the rubble. Blake disappeared from the group and menuvered around the Grimm as the Arma Gigas blocked the rubble with its shield and unloaded her gun into the Grimm's back. As the Wendigo turned towards her, Yang came rocketing over and slammed a strong right into the Grimm's head. As the Grimm felt the hit, it swatted the girl away and blocked Ruby's scythe from cutting its leg with its claws.

.

The Grimm then kicked Ruby away and punched Weiss that tried to sneak attack when it was distracted. Yang then came from above and smashed both of her gauntlets into the sides of the Grimm's head, letting off two shots at the same time. The Grimm just quickly turned its head and smacked her with its antlers, sending her flying. Ruby came shooting out from a corner and making quick cuts here and there on the Wendigo's legs before taking a kick to the chin when she stopped to turn around. Blake appeared above its head then disappeared as it tried to do what it did to Yang, allowing Blake to stab it in the ċhėst and shoving a activated Burn Dust vial inside of it. However, Blake was too slow in getting away and got swatted by the Grimm.

.

The vial exploded, forcing the Wendigo to its knees as Team RWBY regrouped and launched a corninated attack. Yang shot forward first and slammed several punches into its sternium. Blake followed her by repeatedly stabbing the Grimm in the neck and ċhėst. Weiss had her Arma Gigas come from behind and stab it right through its ċhėst while Ruby cut its head off.

.

As the Wendigo dissipated, an explosion went off right above them. Sending them scattering away by the force of the explosion alone.

A/N: Hey Guys and Girls (If you are one or not, I don't care) just wanted to let you know that I had a very bad storm roll through where I live and this have been hard with the clean up. So if my writing quality drops, I'm sorry about it.
