Royal Dragon and Phoenix transmigrate to Earth

Chapter 279: Qin Bao (Arriving at the Camp) (2?)

Right after the light, an air cutting sound was heard, and in less than 3 seconds, a bazooka crashed not more than 10 meters away from them.

As soon as the crash happened a big explosion occurred at the place, and the pressure coming from it threw them all in different directions.

But that was just the beginning because soon 3 new lights were seen one after the other, and the following noises of something cutting through the air.

At this moment someone shouted hysterically,

Stranger:" Stay on the ground, and cover your heads, we are under attack."

It was this hysterical scream that woke Qin Bao from her weird trance and started looking around. Everywhere around her was getting in a fire, and it looked like she had fallen into hell.

The kids that were around here were all thrown in different places from the pressure and were trying to cover and protect themselves from the hellfire around them.

The scientists were all crumbled behind the equipment for shelters, and were all saying all the prayers they knew to escape alive from this place.

They knew where they were being sent, it was just that the realization of what kind of place this was, hit them a bit too late.

Right now none of them even had the time to think about anything else besides hoping to leave this place alive.

It truly seemed like a scene from hell, and to make matters worse, after the explosions, different fire weapons were directed towards them and were firing non-stop.

It was like they wouldn't stop firing until everything had turned into dust and ashes.

Right in the middle of this fire though, three shadows jumped from their positions and fearlessly ran towards the direction the bullets were coming from.

And after them, armed people on their camp started to raise shields, or use vehicles as shields, for the people that were still alive.

Even though the bazooka's hit close to them, the kids had enough power and cultivation to survive the explosions happening close to them.

It also helped that the people attacking weren't trying to kill them with the bazooka's but destroy the equipment they had brought.

Qin Bao's group was the most affected since they were close to the equipment, but even they had no casualties, fortunately.

Qin Bao was stunned by this scene, she thought that she had understood the difficulty of her job, but apparently, she had still underestimated it, by a lot.

It was at this time, that their team leader started screaming and shouting at them,

Team Leader:" What the hell are you doing!? Gather yourselves and start doing something.

You won't be able to last long if you just stay there like idiots, so start moving. The easiest target is a non-moving target."

Hearing those words, Qin Bao and the kids in her group immediately got up, and have a look around, thinking what could they do?

They were all the best in their group and were smart enough to analyze the situation and find something they could do to help.

There was something special taught to all of them, in case of emergency don't wait for orders, but try to analyze the situation and move.

Of course in the case of an order, then that was absolute, and their own judgment lost priority, but until then, their own judgment was the order giving authority.

Even though still scared, and still somewhat shivering they all got on their feet and started doing what they could.

The first thing to do, was of course accompanying the scientists towards the caravan, and towards security.

With this thought in mind, they formed groups of two or three and started sending the scientists towards security.

Even the lusty arrogant guy didn't dare to say anything at this moment. He understood that his life was on the line here, and one wrong word could get him killed.

While Qin Bao and her group were doing this, the firings were still heard in the distance but were slowly decreasing in number.

Normal people wouldn't notice this, but they were all cultivators, so their senses were sharper than the people around them.

It was a strange scene though, normally are the men and women trying to protect the children, but right here the opposite was happening.

No one had the time to think about it right now though, they were still under constant fire. Each one of them had its own life to bother with.

After the scientists entered the caravan, the caravan started moving. The kids coming with Qin Bao were divided into two groups.

The bravest kids were placed on the open vehicles at the front, and the least bravest were placed on the open vehicles at the back of the caravan.

Qin Bao right now was as afraid as she was at the start, but she felt bad looking at the kids at the back, they were all kind of scared still, and she wanted to help them.

That was why she went to the back vehicles.

Like this, the caravan started moving, and weirdly it was going towards the direction from which the firings were coming from.

But soon the firings ended, nobody could understand a thing about what was happening. How could so many people with guns, slowly stop firing.

Suddenly the entire place was conquered by a death-like silence. Only the noise of the caravan broke that death-like silence.

It didn't take them long to reach the place where their attackers were supposed to be. But passing through that place everyone was baffled and stunned.

It seemed like a joke that right now the moonlight kind of destroyed the darkness and was throwing light over this place.

The ground there had taken a deep dark red hue, and there were even places where small trickles of blood were created, all of it was seen under the silver light of moonlight.

Whenever they tried to look at though, the people in the caravan weren't able to recognize even one full corpse, all over the place.

There were corpses missing a head, a leg, an arm but none of the corpses was full, each one missed something, and from there a puddle of blood was formed for each one of them.

It was truly a slaughter, a massacre clearly visible under the silver hue of the moonlight. And right in the middle of it, two girls were patting the head of a little boy.

They looked like three siblings having fun, and not at all like the three death reapers that had just turned this place into a massacre.

Looking at the view, the team leader of Qin Bao's team that was there with her, had a weird look on his face and then turning his look towards them once again, a shiver seemed to pass through him.

Meanwhile, the arrogant scientist inside the car had already fallen unconscious, and couldn't see this scene, and understand his earlier mistake.

In the meantime, Qin Bao could recognize the two girls as Tianlong Huo and Tianlong Shui, and if she wasn't mistaken that little boy was called, Tianlong Ying Yan.

According to the instructions from Tianlong Xia, she could make contact with them once she was at the camp, and receive help from them if needed.

But this should be done without anyone else knowing, and taking wind of. To not make the matter too complicated they were notified of her arrival.

Not to mention that wouldn't be difficult for Tianlong Huo and Tianlong Shui to recognize her, since they were there that day that she had joined Tianlong Yun's harem.

While the caravan passed by them, they sensed her presence on the caravan, and were kind of relieved she was okay, but didn't make any sign towards her.

Tianlong Xia's order was crystal clear, no matter what happens as long as she hasn't declared her identity, they shouldn't be seen with each other.

The caravan of cars didn't stop though to wait for them, they continued their way towards their camp, while the trio seemed to follow them, and act as a back shield.

It took a while for the caravan to reach the camp, especially since the road was difficult, but they finally managed to arrive without any other big occurrence.

Entering the camp, Qin Bao and the others were separated to their lodgings and also given some essentials, including maps of the area, a choice of weapons, and a timetable of the camp.

Since they were the new guys, they would have to take care of the chores, after their training. If anyone wanted to escape from doing that, there was an easy option.

They just had to beat in a one-to-one fight one of the seniors in here, and he would take his place. But that was easier said than done, their seniors had not only superior strength but also experience.

There was a clear hierarchy in this place, at the top where the first line of shadows, there were 5 shadows in here at the moment.

The trio, that made the massacre on the way, and two others. According to Qin Bao's information, the other two were Tianlong Wen He and Tianlong Gang.

But she had yet to see those two, most probably they were on a mission or something.

Under the first line shadows, were the Special Forces operatives that had been under Captain Mao. While they didn't have the shadows strength, they had the experience and knowledge.

The ladder than continued with the shadows of different lines, that had been able to survive until now, and at the same time secure their place with their strength.

Of course, there were no more than 10 people per step, and that also decided the allocation of the resources for all of them.

The new arrivals were given one-month survival training, and help in their cultivation with basic resources, and after that were left to fight for their own selves.

It was a clear example of a dog eats dog world, far away from civilization.

The last step of the ladder was occupied by the prisoners of war, that served as workers in the mining and special servants.

As for the scientists, while they had the status of a special guest if they crossed the line…
