Li Huailin and the rest of the party members retreated outside of the dungeon safely.

“How difficult is it? How are our chances?” Red Moon asked Li Huailin.

“Now that I’ve checked, I’m certain that we can pass it.” After fighting the monsters, Li Huailin was so much more confident now. “Let’s reset the dungeon and we’ll go in one more time. Everybody follow me, make sure the enemies see me first.”

“I understand.” Red Moon nodded.

Just as she was about to reset the dungeon, an annoying voice resounded behind them.

“Wow! Look! Isn’t this the young lady who said they’d complete Abyss Mode earlier? Did the first group of monsters kick you guys out?”

After seeing Li Huailin and the rest of the party members come out so quickly, the warrior player who teased Red Face Drinks Water laughed at them.

“Seeing as they’re not dead, they’re really lucky. You should look at their equipment first,” another player chimed in.

In Li Huailin’s party, only Red Moon had a piece of blue equipment, the rest of them were wearing two to three pieces of green equipment. However, Li Huailin was the worst of the bunch. He was still wearing two pieces of newbie equipment and was holding a Level 10 bronze sword, which was actually unbelievably lucky of him as it had dropped yet despite the fact that Li Huailin had died more than 30 times now.

“You…” Red Face Drinks Water tried to walk up to them again. But someone was faster than her this time.

“Go on, f*cking say that again.” Li Huailin jumped out and yelled at the warrior player.

“Wow! Where did you come from, newbie? You’re making four women carry you…”

The warrior player thought Li Huailin was a newbie who came to level up in the dungeon based on Li Huailin’s equipment alone. And to his surprise, the newbie was quite arrogant too. Before he finished his words, his teammate frantically pulled on his arm.

“Floating Life, I think he’s that Kickass Brother,” a player beside him said in a low voice.

“Kickass Brother?” The warrior player was startled for a second. “Which one? Do you know him?”

“You know… the guy who fiercely slapped an NPC in the pinned forum thread.”

“Kickass Brother? So what? You think everyone’s afraid of you? I, Floating Life Chen, isn’t afraid of you at all! Do you dare…”

Before Floating Life Chen could even finish his words, Li Huailin quickly slashed him. Since he was now a few levels higher than before, his attack damage was incredibly high. With the number having gone over 1,000, Floating Life Chen was unable to say a word as his head directly bashed on the ground. The priest in his party didn’t even have a chance to heal him.

“This f*cking system finally got one thing right. Killing such a thing should reduce Infamy, he’s trash.” Li Huailin swung the bronze sword in his hand and looked around at the rest of the players who were baffled at what just happened. He said to them, “Are there more idiots like him? If there are, step out and I’ll send you to hell. Don’t talk a f*cking load of garbage.”

“A… only a single slash?” The surrounding players couldn’t believe their eyes.

“I saw that attack… the damage was over 1,000.”

“Sh*t! My knowledge has been widened. Kickass brother is indeed kickass!”

In the warrior player’s party, there were still four members left. All of them received the system’s notice that they had 30 minutes to fight back. However, none of them dared do so. Kickass Brother brutally killed their warrior with just a single attack. Considering that the warrior class had the most health points among all of them, there was no point in initiating another fight. They cherished their experience points a lot.

“Listen to me carefully, you dregs.” After seeing that no one dared to challenge him, Li Huailin arrogantly spoke, “I’m completing Abyss Mode today. If you have a problem with it, come and talk to me. Don’t be so full of sh*t, I won’t be able to hold myself back from giving you a slash if you are.”

“Kickass Brother is challenging Abyss Mode?”

The news started immediately spreading about. Some players instantly started contacting their guilds. They would’ve thought it was a joke if it were someone else who made this statement, but Kickass Brother’s title was different. Kickass Brother had never been normal ever since he popped up in the forums. What if he really completed Abyss Mode…?

“Alright. It’s all good now.”

After he walked back to Red Moon and the rest of the team members, Li Huailin said this to them.

“Brother-in-law, you’re so awesome! You look majestic!” There were little stars in Red Face Drinks Water’s eyes.

“We don’t need to complete the dungeon in order to make our guild famous anymore,” Red Moon spoke while a headache began forming on her temples. “You’re such a troublemaker too… You didn’t even check which guild that warrior came from, don’t forget the fact that you belong to a guild now.”

“Hey, leader, you also saw that! That warrior was even better at seeking death than me. His arrogance made me feel that killing him would directly make me reach the highest level,” said Li Huailin seriously.

“Okay! Okay! You already killed him, I can’t say anything to change what happened. This is just me complaining.”

Even though Red Moon also found that player rather annoying, Li Huailin’s direct and simple solution still surprised her. This might bring them some trouble in the future, Red Moon had to admit that this had given her great satisfaction. In fact, she started looking at Li Huailin with new eyes, she didn’t want to tell Li Huailin about this though.

“Let’s do the dungeon again. We can pass it this time, I’m sure,” Li Huailin said with great confidence. “It’ll be quick!”

“Alright, let’s go in,” Red Moon said after choosing the difficulty once more.

While they watched the party enter the dungeon, the players who stood near the entrance were reporting to their own guilds. On the one hand, they told their guilds that Kickass Brother was really hard to push around. On the other hand, they kept updating their guilds on Kickass Brother’s latest progress. After all, Kickass Brother did say that they were going to pass Abyss Mode today.

With the game servers opening less than ten days ago, it was now the period of time when several big guilds were quickly developing. A few leading guilds were trying their best to attract more players. In fact, becoming the first guild to pass Hell Mode could be a very good way to promote themselves. During the recent days, some powerful guilds had already started challenging Hell Mode. Although there was no global announcement after completing this difficulty, they could still take screenshots and post their achievements on the forum, doing so could greatly improve the image of their guild.

However, very few people chose “Viper Cave” for their Hell Mode challenge. It was mainly because this dungeon was too annoying. Instead of the normal physical damage, the biggest threat in the dungeon was the damage caused by the vipers’ venom. This required challengers to wear poison-resistant equipment. At the current stage, collecting this type of equipment was quite difficult, this was why it was better to challenge other dungeons. After all, there were a lot of dungeons for the Level 15 players. The only advantage of “Viper Cave” was that it was closer to the respawn point, which just mainly meant that players could run back faster if the entire party died.

It was known that either random parties or less competitive players in a guild would choose to challenge the Viper Cave dungeon. They were here to gain some experience and collect equipment. To their surprise, they met Li Huailin here. While the leading guilds were trying their best to pass Hell Mode, Li Huailin stated to everyone that he would complete Abyss Mode.

“Night Flyer, what do you think of this?” A middle-aged male warrior asked Spiritual World Night Flyer on the channel of Spiritual World guild.

“It’s hard to say,” Night Flyer pondered for a moment. “Other people can’t, I would certainly say that for sure. If it’s him… then I can’t say.”

“Well…” The male warrior said, “I’m going to lead the first party to challenge ‘Nomads’ Cave’. You should go to the Viper Cave and see what’s going on.”

“Yeah, I was still going to go even if you didn’t tell me to. That guy’s quite annoying,” Night Flyer smiled as he said this.
