Chapter 94: Chapter 94 – Reaching their destination

The twins watched the shoreline getting closer with a stiff expression.

Ethan glanced at his brother. {‘This place.... we are back again..’} His fist clenched tightly, leaving behind small bloody marks in his palm.

Aiden quickly held his hands. {‘I won’t let anything happen to you. I promise. Besides this time.... it’s different. We have people we can depend on.’} He glanced at the cheerful gang. His eyes especially focused on Feng, who was in the old lady’s arms. {‘we can still change our fate...’}

{‘But what if nothing changes.. what if one day they all disappear?....’}

{‘Don’t think too much. Future is ever so changing. All we have to do is create a future that we have happy with. I think we have a great start this lifetime,’} he tugged at Feng’s skirt.

She glanced at him with a wide smirk.

Ethan, who was stiff till now, loosed up. He moved closer to the old lady and leaned against her.

.....

Lady Hiliana gently touched his head.

{‘yes.... in this life we can make a difference...’} Ethan finally whispered with a wide smirk on his face.

Their ship reached the shores. A ton of people waited there to receive the guest. She noticed a lot of carriages waiting in lines.

‘Hmmm interesting. This world had advance, magic yet they still use carriages... very interesting indeed.’

Feng noted every little minute detail as she could. The women and men were all dressed formally, and some even wore huge decorative top hats with feathers, flowers and beads imbedded in them.

‘Interesting fashion choice,’ she looked at her own clothes. They looked plain but much better put together compared to what these women wore. ‘I guess this style well suits me,’
“Do you want a dress like that?” Yubiri curiously whispered from the side. “I will take you to a nearby boutique. They have all the latest fashion...”

“Nope. I much prefer the ones I’m wearing.” Feng firmly refused him. Last time they went shopping, Yubiri brought so many clothes that her entire room was overfilled to the brim. ‘If he buys me even more clothes, I might have to swim in them,’

The young mage looked saddened by her rejection.

Elle hopped closer to him and held his hands, but he swiftly let go, coughing slightly.

‘Suspicious.....’ Feng noticed a weird tension going on between those two. Albeit they had great ages difference between them that might have caused the misunderstanding but....

‘They are just acting super weird. Wonder what’s up?’ Last time they were all chummy chummy, but a month ago something happened. From then on, Yubiri gave Elle the cold shoulder.

“Lady, can you let me down..”

The old lady gently kissed her forehead and let her down. “careful.”

Feng moved close to Ethan. “hey... do you know what happened between them,” she nodded towards the two in the cold war.

“I don’t know, but it must be his fault.” Ethan outright blamed the mage for everything.

???????????????? ???????????????????????????? ???????????????????????? ???????????????????? ???????? ????????????????????-????????????.????????????

Feng frowned slightly. “Let’s not judge without knowing the reason.”

“I will still blame him.” Aiden shrugged with a sweet smile.

She was not getting anywhere with these two.

“Incorrigible...” Feng pulled Elle away from Yubiri. “Let look at the carriages. Is anyone waiting to receive us?”

“Yes~ our aunt is coming to receive us.”

“How can you even find them in this crowd?”

Elle, who was solemn till now regained her cheerful smile. She tightly held her hand and glanced out. “Our aunt is not one to ride a carriage.”

“Really? Intriguing,” Feng curiously whispered. The whole place looked like carriage was the main source of transport, but she might be wrong. They might prefer using horses as their rides.

‘hmm will I be able to handle horse riding...’ she deeply divulged in this though.

“Meimei look aunt is here!!” Elle crazily waved at something.

Feng looked at the general direction, but she was not able to spot the carriage or horse Elle was waving to. “Where?”

“There!!” Elle pulled her chin up towards the shy.

A white crane flew their way. Its beak as red as a tomato, his wings with a slight shade of gold on its tips. “That’s a bird....”

“Look closer,”

The bird flapped its wing and swooped down. The closer it got, the bigger it seemed. ‘Why the heck is it so big.. wait.. What’s that on its back?’

There was a huge box like thing strapped onto his back. “Oh my god, don’t tell me.....”

“Yes!! We are going to fly back to our new home!!!” Elle hopped around cheerfully.

Old lady gently caressed her head and combed back a few of her stray hair strands. “Your great aunt will be so happy to see you guys again,”

“Yes, I believe great uncle owe me some training time,” Alvin mumbled with his chest all puffed up.

Feng nodded slightly. ‘Great aunt? That means the lady who is coming to receive us is lady Hiliana’s sister,’

She tugged at her skirt slightly. “Is she your younger sister, lady?”

The lady raised her brows. “She is our youngest and the brightest of them all. You will like her,”

“Yeah, she used to sneakily gift me chocolates every time we visited her,” Elle secretly whispered into her ears

Feng giggled. ‘She seems like a nice lady.... I guess I might like her a lot.’ she hugged the boys next to her and hummed softly.
