Chapter 29 - As a yes
Taehee chuckled.
"Look at your expression! I was just joking. Of course, I will support my little squirrel with whatever decision she takes," Taehee expressed whilst patting Jinhee's head affectionately.
'This Taehee is one hard nut to crack, but for now, I'll just leave the matter alone.'
Her expression of graveness from earlier eased, and her countenance appeared much more light-hearted, almost making Jinhee feel like her earlier expression was an illusion.
"Wait tomorrow to see what will happen to Hyesook and Junghwa. You won't hate it." Taehee winked.
Jinhee shook her head. "You don't need to do anything; I can take care of the matters by myself."
"My silly squirrel, am I a stranger to you? You don't need to be this courteous." Taehee lightly flicked on Jinhee's forehead whilst a playful look sat on her face.
"Aren't you a stranger to me? You're neither my friend or family," Jinhee bluntly spoke out.
To someone helping her out, Jinhee was clearly being rude, but nonetheless, Jinhee did not want to make it a habit by being dependent on Taehee.
If she's competent enough, then she'll succeed with her plans, and if it is the opposite case, then her second life with end up in vain. Even if that happened, Jinhee was not willing to seek help from Taehee and Jaehyun.
"I'm more than that to you, Jinhee-ah. You don't need to be shy or reserved with me."
Jinhee spoke no words and closed her eyes. Nonetheless, involuntarily, her heart felt a touch of warmth at her words.

"Aren't you curious on what they are talking about?" Taehee whispered into her ears— playfulness noticeable in her tone.
