Tyr turns to Apolita when she doesn't open the portal as he requested. He looks at her she is trying to make the connection but something is clearly wrong. Apolita shakes her hands trying to relax her nerves. She doesn't understand what is wrong at least she knows Blackbeard is okay as she can see him through the live stream. She tries her normal method shaking her hand harder and finally says, "Something is wrong I can't make a connection." The squad move about all falling into the sea ready to rescue Blackbeard. Even Esame'al tries to make herself by trying to find anything on the stream that can explain what is going on. Everyone scrambles to try to plan how they contribute to 

Tyr says, "Don't worry as soon as I fire, try opening the portal again. The rest of you all slowly take the raft back. I need them to see you leave so we can slip in." Most players would be stumped maybe some like the Infinite Witch or Soulstealer will be able to understand what is going on. When machines this big operate they put out a lot of interference. Similar to radiation magic engines output a large amount of flux. Tyr has two options ask to be let in and probably get denied or create a pathway. His spell needs to fly five kilometres which are pretty easy for most magicians. Magically accuracy depends on vision so as long as you can see it you can hit most of the time. That is why breaking vision when fighting a magical based class is important.

Tyr takes out his spear this time holding it more like a wand by the hilt like how one holds a walking stick. The black spear erupts veins of flames pulsing as Tyr pushes ninety per cent of his magic power reverses into the obsidian. Most people would probably laugh at Tyr he is using one of the tutorial stances. Similar to how people learn to Half-cast one can learn to Over-cast. However, it is extremely dangerous as it tends to have explosive results. The form is to help negate the possibility of explosions but also cover his arse from Overwatch. Since he has never done it before in this life he went to the forums and look at the form and just did everything he saw in the video. Of course, it is not that simple but Overwatch isn't in his head. Plus he's pretty confident he can do with lifestyle hacks too. 

He follows the footwork remembering this is actually part of a legendary magic stance. Like a fighter, mages have stances and such however most players use the merlin school of thought which is sit back and cast, The Horus school makes it much more active. Each school of thought has its own stances of magic and proper casting techniques. So with a simple back and forth three-step, a swoosh and flick of the wrist. A bright red flaming spear shoots towards the Rig. Tyr waits for his spear to fly towards Blackbeard, of course, it won't him because he can't see him but the coordinates help to make him aim at the appropriate place. The flaming spear acts like lighting allowing Apolita's spell to cut through the flux and make a connection. 

Tyr looks back at Apolita as the roaring belch of fog horns go off, hundreds of small vessel fall from the rig into the ocean. Tyr says, " Don't get caught leave the raft if you have to, girls after you." The Small vessels are hunter pods usually having around two to three people on board depending on armaments. They are fast and agile and can dive up to two kilometres down which is nothing compared to the Gorgon subspecies who can all dive at least ten kilometres where most deep ocean settlements are found. Some have been dug this is why whirlpools exist as they are how sail can enter Ocean Settlements assuming of course they are appropriately enchanted for ocean floor sailing which only uses the oceans' currents. 

The Portal appears in front of Blackbeard who can see his team making a dash for it. He says, "I have to help them!" The powerful Esame'el pushes him back not many know how strong she is but her being a dryad rogue is difficult for many reasons but one of the few benefits is the ability to become nature itself. This advantage and her chosen advancement mean that she is one of the few players who are at home in the forest as well as in the city. 

Esame'el says, "No you have a different job to do now." The portal closes behind her shortly after that and with everyone here. They need an action plan and so turn to Tyr. As the leader, Tyr is the one in charge. 

Tyr says, "Blackbeard and Apolita find our people and get them out." He aims at the lower half of the rig they immediately start moving together. It is most likely as the symbol he saw told him something else this Rig is a teaching platform. Most rigs of course have in house training but this means that a significant portion of the lotus ship section is an academy. Tyr wants to steal an Immortal Technique, Or Magic works, he would let Esame'el go alone but he isn't sure she would know that an immortal technique is more important than blueprint hell so is magic works. Players would always pick blueprints over the other two because they are immediate use. Immortal Techniques are basically tech trees that a guild can research they are commonplace and usually focused on a topic. For example, his old with Araia had over a hundred Immortal techniques ranging in topic from fountains to compacted energy dragon scaling armour. Immortal techniques in academies are extremely valuable as it is a collection of their academic research over the years. Of course, there are different levels of Techniques and Works. This will also help them grow in leaps and bounds above normal lifestyle class guilds and catch up to the other bigger guilds. 

They head up towards the main upper lotus area of the rig it is filled with all kinds of people. Here there is a long line of algae in the seems of tile providing gentle natural light. Someplace like the market is covered in a more golden light while others like what seems to be some kind of entertainment district is alive with reds. They walk towards the blue area most of the guards are moving towards their combat stations meaning that they are free to move around unaccosted. They make their way past some other districts where people are huddling towards. Ships like these have a lot of bunkers their is always the possibility of attack. The people still walking about are those that want to take advantage of quiet to carry their business. As the platforms and crossways get less busy the people left all avoid eye contact and try to be as forgettable as possible. Tyr is following the blue lights. If you watch the light they lead to certain areas that is why they don't need signs. 

Esame'el follows behind her head held low her roots and flora have adapted to a much darker hue perfect for sneaking around. They head towards the academy. Esame'el signals to him using simple hand gestures. she is also keeping a close eye on Blackbeard streams it is a simple loophole but can't be used when in combat.  Tyr asked her to do it as he needs her to focus on something else not asking him questions. To her does seem to move randomly she has figured out that the rainbow pattern of lights has patterns. 

They arrive at the building it is a twelve-story building. The style is built using simple brick shells and brim cement in the traditional ocean bed fashion common amongst many sea folk. The entrance is guarded by two guards who are level fifty. This is a good sign but it also means he really has to really on Esame'el the critical of a hidden rogue can one-shot most enemies who are not bosses. Areas like these are more of a technical puzzle than a straight-up fight. Tyr looks forward to raiding the trove. 

Tyr says, "Okay you have to take them out you can kill them if you want but remember we are here to take a look around mostly." 

Esame'el says, "Why here what is that place even?" She doesn't see the value of the building it is plain and functional to her it is probably a government building of some kind. 

Tyr says, "It is the first building with guards we have come across. If it was valueless they would have different stations right." 

Esame'el agrees with his assessment thinking about most of the area is desolate they only came across a few NPC's and some shifty looking players who are probably doing the same thing they are.

Tyr says, "wait let give them a chance. Let's meet aback in-game in four hours I have a few things to do in IRL that can't be pushed back." The two find a nice corner to logoff as it is getting darker they will be back in the middle of the night.
