In short, would you rather be close to a sincere person or a cunning one?

……

As I said before, the relationship between Xunzi and other Confucian schools is not very good.

People from other Confucian schools would not go to the bamboo forest in other courtyards to seek scolding unless they had something to do, especially Fu Nian.

So Gao Jing hadn't been to the front yard for a long time, and he didn't know any of the disciples he met.

Confucius’ surname is Zi, and his family name is Kong, so the disciples of Xiaoshengxianzhuang all have characters beginning with “Zi”, such as Zimu, Ziyu, Ziming...

Although they didn't know each other, Gao Jing still faced everyone with a smile. His steps were steady, neither slow nor hasty, his back was straight, his intentions were sincere, and his heart was upright, so he felt very sincere. Very positive.

Most of the disciples in the front yard didn't know Gao Jing, but when they met Gao Jing, they would stop and return respectfully, subconsciously choosing to ignore that the other party was only an eleven or twelve-year-old child.

This is "sincerity into energy"!

It was completely different from the scene when Gao Jing first came to Xiaoshengxianzhuang.

If Gao Jing had been able to be sincere back then, no matter how tattered his clothes were, he would not have been stopped at the door, but would have been respectfully invited in.

"Please tell the head of Fu Nian, Gao Jing came to visit."

At the door, Gao Jing said to the disciples at the door in a gentle tone.

The disciple froze for a moment. He didn't know the person in front of him, but he could feel the sincerity of the other person. He also ignored the other person's age and saluted: "Please wait a moment."

A moment later, Fu Nian came out of the house in person, and when he saw Gao Jing, his eyes lit up, and he saluted, "Fu Nian has met my little uncle."

Gao Jing also replied, "Gao Jing has met the head."

Fu Nian has always regarded himself as majestic, but this time he showed a rare smile and said: "Master uncle has already said about the purpose of my visit, and the itinerary is already prepared..."

Speaking of this, Fu Nian paused for a moment, and continued: "But it's too early for my little uncle to travel now?"

Although the factions are different, Fu Nian is the head of Confucianism and manages the entire Confucianism.

From the first sight of Gao Jing, Fu Nian could feel the purity of the other party's heart, obviously in a trance.

A Confucian disciple who entered meditation at the age of 11 is too important to Confucianism!

If there is any accident on the road, it will be the loss of the entire Confucianism.

What's more, in his memory, Gao Jing didn't practice the six Confucian arts, that is to say, he didn't know martial arts...

I can't help but not worry.

Fu Nian naturally also fell into samadhi. Although he acted very majestic, Gao Jing could still feel the sincerity of the other party, and said with a smile: "Don't worry, Sect Leader, since Senior Brother let me travel, I'm sure of it."

After finishing speaking, Gao Jing raised his head and chest with one hand behind his back, and shouted softly: "A little bit of arrogance, a thousand miles of blissful wind!"

A gust of wind drifted past without knowing where it came from.

It was obviously a breeze, but it carried an upright and powerful will, pressing down on everyone's hearts like a mountain, and like a scorching sun, making people unable to hide.

"Pfft!"

The disciple who had just gone in to report suddenly fell to the ground, his face covered in cold sweat and his face turned pale.

He was frightened, which shows that his heart is not righteous enough...or simply put, there is a ghost in his heart!

Many people who are not right-minded will feel restrained and even afraid in front of Confucian disciples, because Confucian disciples have a righteous heart!

Fu Nian turned his head to look at the disciple dissatisfied, and then exclaimed: "Awe-inspiring righteousness, I didn't expect my little uncle to cultivate a great sense of righteousness... In this way, Fu Nian is relieved."

……

It is not to say that all Confucian disciples can develop righteousness!

In fact, since Mencius, there has been no one in Confucianism who has been able to cultivate righteousness.

Confucianism in this era can only talk about "benevolence, righteousness, propriety, wisdom and faith", without a complete concept of right and wrong, good and evil. Yasheng" is not an exaggeration.

Because a real saint has no sorrow or joy, no good and no evil, a saint is not benevolent, and treats the people as a humble dog!

This is why many people in later generations like Mencius but not Confucius.

Mencius has loyalty, but it is not the loyalty of ordinary people, nor the spirit of book business, but the integrity and selflessness that comes from sticking to the integrity and justice in his heart from the "conscience" in his heart!

Everyone's positioning of "justice" is different, because everything has two sides, and justice is not absolute.

Mencius's "integrity" is the "righteousness" and "Tao" recognized on the basis of conscience!

In other words, on the premise that there is no selfish desire in the heart, the "integrity" recognized by conscience!

It is also the "no good and no disgusting body" in Wang Yangming's philosophy of mind, "knowing good and knowing evil is conscience"!

In the state of no good and no evil in the original mind, stick to your own conscience.

Even Xunzi didn't develop awe-inspiring qi before, but gradually turned into awe-inspiring qi after accepting Gao Jing's "heart learning".

It is not an exaggeration to say that Mencius is a "chivalrous Confucian".

Modern people are influenced by martial arts, who doesn't have a bit of "chivalry" or "injustice" in their hearts?

Coupled with the fact that Gao Jing specialized in studying the mind after entering the "settling" state, and had a different kind of comprehension, it's not surprising that he developed awe-inspiring spirit.

……

Originally, Gao Jing thought that Fu Nian would at most prepare a horse for himself, and a little money would be enough.

Unexpectedly, Fu Nian prepared a carriage for Gao Jing!

Although it is not luxurious, it is enough for one person to lie in it... So, there is a caravan for this trip.

Food and water, about a hundred gold, and a bronze sword were also prepared in the car.

It wasn't a famous sword, but it was better than the sword used by ordinary disciples.

It's more like traveling than traveling.

Or the convenience brought by identity.

Chapter 13 Words

After leaving Xiaoshengxian Village, you must first pass through the territory of Qi State.

The Qi State at this time is very strange. In modern terms, it is already "lying flat".

Since the country was destroyed by Yan State, Qi State, which was restored with the Fire Bull Formation, had a broken backbone. From kings to nobles, they all gave up their military equipment, focused on accumulating their own wealth, and lived their lives behind closed doors. Days, ignore the fighting outside.

This has also led to the fact that Qi has not experienced war for decades.

Although ordinary people are not rich, at least they have no worries about food and clothing, and the whole country of Qi has a strong commercial atmosphere, with merchants gathering here...

If there were no foreign enemies, such a state of Qi would naturally be considered a rare paradise.

It's a pity that it's the Warring States period now, and Qi like this is a piece of fat. If it wasn't for the threat of Qin, the other five nations would have already gnawed on it.

Of course, it is also related to Qi's style of "grass on the wall".

The other five countries joined forces to attack Qin, Qi did not send troops, but sent food, Qin attacked other countries, and Qi also sold food to support... At the same time, they did a lot of business with Qin, selling food, grass, salt mines, and everything.

It can only be said that Qi Guo's method of "getting both ways" is a slippery one.

Yanzhao, Weichu, these four countries bordering Qi, need to buy food from Qi to resist Qin.

And Qin also needs to appease Qi to deal with the other five countries.

Of course, it is also related to the prevalence of Confucianism in Qi State... Except for Xunzi's "mandate of heaven", other Confucian schools all talk about "following the destiny of heaven".

Follow the destiny and muddle along.

……

Gao Jing leaned on the shaft of the chariot, and didn't control the reins, letting the horses pull the chariot forward, just focusing on the book in his hand.

As Han Fei said, as long as he has this book, Gao Jing can keep learning no matter where he is.

What he is reading now is The Book of Songs.

Chapter 310 of the "Book of Songs" is roughly divided into "farming", "conscripts", and "marriage and love" between men and women.

Confucius summed it up in three words: "Thinking without evil".

There is nothing in my heart that cannot be said to others, and my heart is open and aboveboard.

When Gao Jing was reading, the carriage stopped listening.

When I looked up, I saw a woman holding a little girl and stopping in front of the carriage.

The woman is very beautiful, with a perfect oval face, slender eyebrows, a beautiful posture, and a graceful and graceful figure. It is hard to believe that the girl she is holding in her hand could have been born by her.

Gao Jingzheng was reading the Book of Songs vigorously, and blurted out: "The moon is shining, and the people are scorching. Shu Yao is showing, and the work is miserable..."

The woman's face was cold, and her eyes became sharper upon hearing this.

It's just that Gao Jing was just a small child with clear eyes, which made people feel that his mind was pure and free from evil thoughts, so he relaxed and said, "I want to borrow your carriage!"

Gao Jing jumped out of the carriage, raised the curtain, and said, "There is a woman accompanying me, Yan Rushunying... Madam, please get in the carriage."

The woman did not get into the carriage, but emphasized: "I mean, I want this carriage!"

Gao Jing smiled and said, "I can't give you the carriage, but I can take you for a ride."

The woman stared at Gao Jing for a while, then suddenly turned and left.

Gao Jing smiled, jumped into the carriage, let the carriage catch up with him, looked sideways, and said, "Madam can bear the pain of traveling, but this little sister can't bear it, why don't you get in the carriage?"

Gao Jing feels very sincere, and coupled with his young age, it is easier for people to relax their vigilance.

After hesitating for a while, the woman finally got into the carriage with the girl in her arms.

"There is water and food in the car, Madam can take it by herself."

Gao Jing was driving the car, and said casually, but felt a pang of regret in his heart, he was still too young, facing such a stunning woman, his heart was moved, but he couldn't act...

Si Wuxie...

She's so lustful...it's called self-effacing!

Sure enough, tests are everywhere, and I almost lost my mind!

Gao Jing sighed, collected his thoughts, straightened his heart, and could clearly feel that his "settling" skills had deepened a little.

After walking for a while, a corner of the car curtain suddenly opened, and the girl poked her head out, looking at Gao Jing curiously with her big black eyes.
