Confucian self-cultivation: Scholars start from Daqin Author: Cao Xie

The inheritance of Confucianism runs through the Chinese civilization.

People in the world yearn for transcendence, and only seek it in Taoism and Buddhism. They don't know that Confucianism has transcendence skills, but because it is widely spread, no one believes it.

The Confucian method of self-cultivation and mind-strengthening: sincerity, righteousness, knowing and stopping, concentration, tranquility, tranquility, and consideration!

Confucianism is what people need!

With more than 2000 years of Confucian cultural foundation, it is enough to control all academic knowledge.

The core of Confucianism, one word: learning!

Chapter 1 Little Sage Village

There was once a famous question: "The academic achievements of the students trained for so many years have not been compared with the masters trained in the Republic of China. Why can't our schools always produce outstanding talents?"

In fact, the masters of the Republic of China, without exception, had received Chinese education, which is the so-called Confucian education.

And in that time of suffering, in order to save their country, they all had big hearts and great perseverance.

Based on Chinese traditional culture, they mastered Western scientific knowledge and made amazing achievements in their respective theories.

On the other hand, students in the new era have lost the feelings of serving the country and the people of the masters of the Republic of China, and traditional culture is no longer taught in schools, and even the teachers do not understand it.

The most basic self-discipline, self-denial and self-cultivation can't be achieved, and you still want to make great achievements in academics?

It's just a fool's dream!

Confucianism is not as decadent as modern people think, but it has the real essence in it!

……

"finally reached!"...

Gao Jing looked up at the "Little Sage Village" written in the characters of Qi State on the plaque, and there was a trace of bewilderment in his eyes, which finally turned into firmness.

Inexplicably transmigrating to this world, language and writing barriers, wars everywhere, and I became a seven or eight-year-old child again, without the strength to restrain a chicken, I was able to come here alive, to be honest, even Gao Jing himself was afraid Feel incredible.

This is the Warring States, but not the Warring States in history.

History is the bone, art is the wing!

You can tell by looking at the four characters above the head that this is the fantasy world of "Qin..." with osteoporosis and a wingspan too large...

Very dangerous world!

To get here, besides luck, the main thing is to rely on your own golden fingers.

Gao Jing subconsciously touched a thread-bound book that did not belong to this era, which was stuck in his waist. This book is his golden finger, with many functions and mysterious origin.

At present, Gao Jing is only sure that this book records all his thoughts and memories.

To be precise, regardless of past life or present life, what Gao Jing has seen, heard, and felt...whether he remembers it or not, even if it's just a casual glance, is clearly recorded in the book.

Naturally, it also includes methods of survival in the wild, identification of herbs, and some prescriptions...

Otherwise, Gao Jing wouldn't be able to get here, and even if he wasn't killed, he would starve to death sooner or later, or be poisoned to death by eating whatever he wanted...

In addition, this book also has the ability to "mark key points".

As a modern person, Gao Jing is like everyone else. He has learned too many things and knows too many things, but he is very few proficient and cannot form a system...

Countless miscellaneous knowledge can be marked out in this book, and there is only one "University" in its entirety.

The Great Learning, one of the Four Books and Five Classics.

Naturally, Gao Jing couldn't memorize the full text, but this book recorded the full text and "marked" it, but it was a Confucian "method of self-cultivation and righteousness".

The kind that can really cultivate!

That's why Gao Jing took the pains to come to Qi Country, to Xiaoshengxian Village.

In fact, he wants to go to Taoism more, because he has seen more Taoism in his previous life, but it is too fragmentary... There is no way to form a system that can be cultivated.

Helplessly, Taoist Taiyi Mountain is in the territory of Qin State, and without an identity certificate, he can't walk in the territory of Qin State as a child.

Even Shang Yang was caught and cracked after being reported because he didn't have an ID card!

Now that you are here, don't think too much, study first!

Siding, Gao Jing took a deep breath, raised his head and chest, and walked firmly towards the gate.

……

The two Confucian disciples guarding the gate had already seen the child.

At the age of eight or nine, wearing rough linen clothes, not covering his body, showing his calf and forearm, and stepping on straw sandals, he is obviously a commoner.

The only thing better than commoners is probably cleanliness. There is no mud on their bodies, and they don't shrink back like commoners.

But in their eyes, common people are common people!

Walking up to him, Gao Jing imitated the etiquette of Confucian disciples, bowed his hands together, and said, "Both of you, I'll come..."

"Go away, this is not where you came from!" Before Gao Jing could finish speaking, one of the disciples scolded.

Gao Jing's movements froze, and he couldn't help frowning slightly.

He has been able to come here all the way, and he has seen many arrogant people on the way, and he has experienced a lot of contempt and ridicule, so it is not impossible for him to accept it.

If you really still hold the modern concept of "equality of status", you will be dead long ago!

It's just that I didn't expect that such a thing would happen at the gate of Xiaoshengxianzhuang, the holy place in the hearts of Confucians all over the world, the place where etiquette is the most important.

After thinking about it, Gao Jing still said politely: "I don't dare to offend the Holy Land of Confucianism. I just want to study here. I wonder if I have any requirements?"

"Study?"

The two disciples looked at each other, and immediately burst out laughing.

One of them smiled and said, "You are still studying?"

Gao Jing stood up, spread his hands and turned around, and said, "Why can't I study?"

Another person said cheerfully: "Since you want to learn, let me tell you your surname first."

Gao Jing was about to say his surname was "Gao", but stopped when he was about to exit.

In this era, having a surname represents an identity, at least the ancestors were nobles.

For example, Li Si, who claims to be a commoner, has a surname and was an official once. Although he is only a small official in charge of a warehouse, it at least shows that he was born in a noble family and is just down and out.

It’s also like Shang Yang, who was called “Wei Yang” because he was a native of the state of Wei, and also called “Gongsun Yang” because he was a descendant of the Gong clan, his clan’s grandson.

And because of the enfeoffment of Shang Yu later, he was titled "Shang Jun", also known as "Shang Yang".

In fact, his surname is Ji, his surname is Gongsun, and his name is Yang... a proper nobleman, the "Ji" of Zhou Tianzi!

Real commoners have no surnames!

Gao Jing can only be called "Jing", unless he can give "Gao" a surname and make up a history!

Can you make it up? ..

Chapter 2 "Punch" in

The conclusion is that it cannot be edited!

There is no "Hundred Surnames" in this era, and each surname has a specific origin, and relying on compilation will only create a lot of loopholes.

What's more, Confucian self-cultivation requires "sincerity and righteousness of mind". Lying can only make one's mind insincere and heart not righteous!

Gao Jing touched the book on his waist, pursed his lips after a while, and said, "I am a commoner, famous, come to study!"

"Common people, study?"

The two of them seemed to have heard a big joke, and they even leaned forward and backward laughing, overjoyed.

One of them smiled and waved away, saying: "Confucians don't accept commoners, let's go!"

Gao Jing: "..."

Straightening up, Gao Jing's eyes sharpened a little. Holding the book at his waist, he said loudly, "Confucianism doesn't accept commoners? Most of the disciples of the sage Confucius started from humble beginnings. How long has it been since?"

As if intimidated by Gao Jing's tone, the two stopped laughing and looked at Gao Jing in surprise.

One said: "Confucius' disciples have at least surnames."

"So what if you have a surname?"

Gao Jing's eyes became sharper and his voice became louder: "Confucius said: There is no discrimination in education!"

If it were in other places, Gao Jing would not dare to work so hard, because "a scholar meets a soldier, and he can't tell how polite he is."

But here is Xiaoshengxianzhuang, a place to "talk about etiquette".

The farce just now has attracted the attention of many people, especially Gao Jing deliberately amplified his voice to attract more people.

At the gate, many Confucian disciples were already watching.

Since "worship" can't go in, then "fight" to go in!

Gao Jing's words made the two of them, including the Confucian disciples who were watching, look at each other in blank dismay.

Being able to say this at least proves that the person in front of him has read or heard of it.

The knowledge of this era is extremely precious, and it is only passed on among the nobles. The fact that a commoner can say this already shows that he is not an ordinary commoner.

After a while, someone in the crowd said: "There is a saying in the "Book of Changes": Heaven is respected and earth is humble, and the universe is determined. When the humble is high, the high and the low are the ones."

These words surface the Confucian concept of superiority and inferiority.

The sky is high above, the earth is lowly below, and the positions of honor and humbleness have been determined.

Gao Jing didn't change his face, and said loudly: "The "Book of Changes" also said: "Heaven's movement is vigorous, and the gentleman strives constantly for self-improvement. The terrain is Kun, and the gentleman carries things with virtue!"

Someone else said angrily: "You are a commoner, how dare you compare yourself to a gentleman?"

Gao Jing asked back: "I heard that a gentleman is beautiful when he is an adult, but evil when he is not an adult, but what is wrong with a villain?"

I came to apprentice myself, but my good deed was blocked by others, who is a gentleman?Who is the villain again?
