Two days later, While some people still haven't gotten over the fact the 4th imperial prince of the Djage Empire was able to use lightning energy as he pleases, the whole Egul continent exploded with a big news that was churning like boiling water.

The news of a powerful treasure left behind by the legendary Alchemist Henry in the southern region of the Mulan kingdom, more precisely in the Black Mist Forest. Everyone on the continent knew that Henry was a powerful alchemist that walked through the Egul continent approximately three hundred years ago.

It was said that he was able to create magic potions that could transform a regular mortal into a warrior and even enhanced one's innate talent from the yellow grade to even the green grade level of innate talent. Some even said that he was able to increase one lifespan as well back when he was alive.

They also know that he was a man that was both feared and sought by the four great empires of the Egul continent. In conclusion, they all knew the tales of that mysterious and powerful person that said to possess the power of God.

However, today they have heard that he had left behind a powerful artifact or treasure after his death in the southern region of the Mulan kingdom. Even though they did not know what kinda treasure that he had left behind or if the rumor was even true.

Nonetheless, that piece of information was enough to turn the whole continent into a state of turmoil as it quickly spread throughout the continent like a wildfire. All the royal families and some imperial families sent experts to the southern region to check it out.

In less than a day, every single influence throughout the Egul continent, noble families and vagrant mages and warriors rushed here immediately without minding the cost.

It was unknown who had started this rumor, but no one wanted to take the chances of not acting on it. If it wasn't true then they have to see it for themselves.

The treasure left behind by Henry in the southern region of the Mulan kingdom was filled with boundless temptation to any person who knew or heard about his tales. The legendary method to increase one lifespan, increase one's innate talent or spiritual force, transform any mortal into powerful warriors, any of these things would pave the future path of just about anyone.

Many reclusive mages and warriors came out after hearing that news, even some powerful ancient noble families sent some people as well.

While the whole continent was in turmoil following that news, somewhere within the Draco Empire, an emergency meeting was taking place.

Right now, within the main hall of a secret mansion located in the outskirt of the Imperial capital of the Draco empire, there were twelve people sitting around a table. There were an overwhelmingly powerful battle qi and magic power exuded from all their bodies. They all wore black robes and hats that had long curtains to completely hide their faces. In all, they were very mysterious.

" I call upon you, the members of the Magic-knight council regarding the rumor that has been circulating throughout the continent regarding the treasure left behind by Henry in the southern part of the Mulan kingdom." At this moment, the voice of an old man finally rang out from the front seat of the table. It was an ancient and archaic voice, yet it carried along an imposing strength and dignity.

For those who might not know about this, The Magic-knight council was a secret organization that was formed by the most powerful people within the continent. The people within that organization were all 9th rank warrior or mage. Among them were the four guardians or protectors of the four great empires of the Egul continent.

Aside from them, there was also the chairman of the mercenary union and other 9th rank warriors from some powerful ancient noble families or reclusive ones.

However, their main goal from when they were first created more than three hundred years ago was to prevent the Eye from taking over the Egul Continent. Henry was such a powerful foe and had many heaven-defying methods that the four great empires to had let go of their differences and formed a secret pact or an alliance known as the Magic-knight council to resist him in case he wanted to take over the whole Egul continent. Furthermore, even after his death, this organization still had not dissolved as the Eye was still functioning and even becomes more aggressive over the years after the appointment of their new leader.

Today, after more than two centuries, this organization that had been forgotten by the upper echelons of the Egul continent was having their first meeting.

If words were to get out about this meeting, the entire continent would be shocked because each of the people attending that meeting was all pinnacle existence in the continent. One word from them was enough to strip any powerful emperor or king from their throne. They were like gods within the Egul continent.

The ancient voice continued on "Also, we all know that this rumor was most likely started by the Eye. If they dared to share that information with the public is because of one of the four empires had found a way to translate the content of that book left by Henry about the location of his treasure and research."

" My oldest son had been tracking one of the members of the Eye for sometime and about two weeks ago, that member of the eye had found one of a descendant of Henry who was able to translate that language and my son had intercepted him and took that person away from him as well." Hearing the old man words, one of the people seating on the table quickly answered and shared his findings with them.

It wasn't that he was afraid of that person but he knew that old geezer had already known about it and was just playing stupid, not only him but all of them. Each one of them had already broken through the 9th rank mage or warrior. At this stage, not many things can escape their sights.

Furthermore, the old man that was talking just now was the guardian or the old ancestor of the mighty Draco Empire empire, also known as the strongest mage in the Egul continent. He wasn't a person to be trifled with. Even though they had signed a pact not to interfere with the affair of the empire or fighting among themselves, they still used their descendants as a proxy to carried out their order.

Because 9th rank mages were very powerful and can decide the fate of a nation or empire, they refrained themselves from abusing that power and go to war because it would result in massive death if they were to go all out.

" I see, one of my grandsons had been looking for the descendants of that person as well, even though he wasn't able to catch one of them. He was still able to acquire a thick book that listed the some words of that person language and gave their meanings or the equivalent words in our language. I believed with my book and that person found by the son of the Old ghost, we would be able to decipher the book left by Henry."

" From what I can tell, It seemed like the Eye had already find another person that could decipher the books, but because they knew that one of us would know as well, he shared part of the information with the public to divert their attention as well as ours while keeping the most important part for themselves. While we are looking for that treasure in the southern part of the Mulan Kingdom, they would be looking for the real treasure." He continued.

" I agreed with the Sword emperor." Answered another old man.

" Me too."

" This old bone was thinking the same thing."

In less than a second, everyone agreed with the proposal of the Sword Emperor. None of them was able to find a way to translate that book, seeing that one of them was willing to share that information with them, they were more than happy.

Even though hey looked very harmonious at this moment, they were all cooking their own schemes. Because of the presence of the Eye, they were forced to play nice with each other. The Eye itself was stronger than any of the four great empires as they had five 9th rank experts among them. If it wasn't for the fact that they had formed that alliance to resist them, the Eye would have already swallowed them one by one. As such, it was better to share that information among themselves and find a way to get that treasure and research before the Eye did, otherwise even with all them combined, it would only be a matter of time before the Eye crushes them all and take over the whole Egul continent.

" What do you think, Old Ghost." Asked the Guardian of the Draco Empire.

At this point, the gazes of all them felt upon the old man known as the old ghost. The look on their eyes was very frightening as though they were telling him if he refused, they would use force.

Looking at the look on their eyes, the old man known as the old ghost leisurely answered." If this would prevent the Eye from getting stronger and even strengthen out Magic-knight council, then why not.. The stronger we are, the more chances that we have to finally get rid of that damn Eye."
