Purple Lightning Emperor

Under the leads of Marcus, the thousands of bandits formed a circle as they pounced towards Shad, and conversely, every single one of them executed their fiercest and strongest attack that covered the heavens and earth as it enveloped Shad like an inescapable net.

High-grade battle skill, sword attacks, spear attacks, fireball, fire arrow...A variety of attacks swept through the heavens and earth with a vast and terrifying might that shook the surroundings. It was like a volcano had erupted on top of the mountain as the earth quaked, caused it to be extremely terrifying.

Under these terrifying attacks, Shad held the red lightning scythe in his right hand with a calm expression that didn't contain the slightest fear. Not only he was very calm and composed, but there was also a slight smile on his face as though he was enjoying it.

At this moment, the world seemed to have slowed down many times as his right crimson eye shone brightly. The movement of the thousands of bandits appeared to be in slow motion in his right eye.

However, the speed of the world didn't slow down but Shad's own reaction and senses due to the eye of the red lightning dragon emperor. Because of his right eye, his reaction and senses had far surpassed that of even a 9th rank warrior or mage.

With his right crimson eye that was able to see through anything, Shad saw the trajectory of each and every single attack as well their weak spots. He even saw what courses of action to follow if he wanted to avoid all these attacks. Due to his right eye, Shad was a like student taking an exam with an answer sheet.

Swishhh!

Without dodging or retreating, Shad swung out the red lightning scythe in an arc that slashed towards the incoming bandits. This scythe move actually did not contain any type of profundity yet it emitted an overbearing, murderous, and slaughtering intent.

With this light swipe of his blood red lightning scythe, a shocking scene appeared, it was like the spirit of the night had unfolded its sharp claws, and dozens of bandits that were very close to Shad were like pieces of paper that were instantly sliced into two halves causing their scarlet blood to splatter onto the ground.

Swishh! Swish! Swish!

Even after killing dozens of bandits with a single slash of his red lightning scythe, Shad did not stop there nor gave them any chance to react. By channeling the red lightning energy within every cell in his body, Shad transformed into an almost a red translucent figure that was like a wisp of glowing red lightning that flickered repeatedly in the middle of the night.

This sudden change, not mentioning Marcus who was observing the battle in a distance, everyone was in a daze. This sudden reversal was too frightening.

The mind of everyone went blank from seeing this sight, in less than ten minutes, more than eight hundred bandits have already fallen.

" This fellow....is too terrifying!" Marcus was shocked to the point that his jaw almost dropped to the ground as he watched the 4th imperial prince slaughtered his way within the thousands of bandits leisurely with a slight smile on his face.

The 4th imperial prince was like a fish that had returned to the sea, and an eagle that had returned to the sky as he was brutally and mercilessly slaughtering the thousand of bandits hat surrounded him.

The scariest thing was, despite the combined attacks of more than a thousand of bandits, the 4th imperial prince was still unscathed. Not even one of the attacks had reached him.

At this moment, in this small village on top of the highest mountain of the black mist forest, battle cries shook the heavens as the smell of blood and charred corpses ȧssaulted the nose, and numerous tragic and shrill cries sounded out frequently.

Shad's figure that was like a flowing red streak of light moved through the small village, and with a single step, he appeared before his enemies as if he'd teleported. With a swing of the red lightning scythe, he would reap dozens of lives, and it was swift, ruthless, and without mercy.

Meanwhile, his cold, emotionless, and indifferent feelings weren't shaken in the slightest, and he was like the grim reaper that had come from the depth of hell with the mission of reaping lives.

Because all these people had either wanted to kill him or did some vile things that were unforgivable, Shad didn't show them any mercy. He slaughtered all along the way while executing his strongest and powerful attacks as he crushed everything before him without meeting the slightest resistance.

" What's going on?." Muttered Marcus who was already far away. Ever since the battle has started, Marcus did not attack but used his void shadow spirit to take over some bandits' bodies and used them to fight in his stead.

Just like most void mages, Marcus did not have any attack power despite being a 6th class mage. However, he could summon multiple void shadow spirit to possess others to do his biddings.

The void shadow spirit was very dangerous. Not only he could use them to possess others, but he could also use them to kill people as well. By making one of them penetrated into the body of others, he could take complete control of that body. As such, he could stop a person from breathing while inside of them, forcing them to suffocate without being able to defend themselves.

So one could imagine how scary his void shadow spirit was. Once it was inside your body, how could you attack it without causing harm to yourself?

Because of this void shadow spirit, he had caused fear to even a high-level warrior and mage and became the 5th commander of the Red Storm Legion. Not even the other commanders ranked above him dare to offend him because of his void shadow spirit.

Looking at how Shad was easily massacring the thousand of bandits he had gathered throughout the southern region, Marcus had an ugly look on his face.

" It seemed like I am gonna have to take care of that bastard myself," Marcus said with a cold glint in his eyes as he dashed toward Shad with six black shadows behind him.
