Chapter 38: A Different Breakfast

Daybreak the next day.

Mike gets up.

Skye carried a dinner plate with a sandwich and orange juice on it.

“thanks.”

I almost forgot when was the last time I ate breakfast seriously.

Snapped!

“what are you doing!”

Skye slapped Mike’s hand and glared at him, “This is Bobby’s.”

Mike: “…”

Bobby sniffed the orange juice, holding the cup awkwardly with both paws, all of a sudden…

“Ha~”

Bobby gave a satisfied expression.

Skye took the sandwich and put it to the little fire dragon’s mouth.

“Carney.” Bobby shook his head and patted his belly.

Mike only noticed that Bobby had a round belly.

“What did you eat for him in the morning?” Mike asked.

“Just two fried steaks.” Skye looked innocent and put the sandwich to Mike’s mouth, “Here, your…”

Yesterday, I paid you back and my lips were brushed. Now I can only eat what is left of the “people”?

“I’m going to brush my teeth.”

Mike ran to the bathroom. He felt something abnormal on his chest, and gently tore off a thick layer of hardened black dirt.

“Smelly!”

Mike pinched his nose and threw the hardened dirt into the toilet and flushed it away. By the way, I took a bath to make up for yesterday’s.

When Mike came out of the bathroom with a bath towel, Skye re-fried two steaks, a cup of coffee, and a cup of juice.

Mike bit off most of the sandwich in one bite, chewed it, “I’m starving to death.”

Skye squinted at Mike: “Usually you don’t eat breakfast, right.”

“Haha.” Mike played dumb.

He and other female sports enthusiasts exercise until dawn, sleep until the afternoon, and eat breakfast!

Taking another bite to eat the remaining sandwich, Mike said: “Energy conservation…Healing the injury consumes too much body energy, and it needs to be replenished.”

I didn’t feel it when I just woke up. The more I ate, the more hungry Mike felt. He felt a little bit like a starving ghost. Regardless of using a knife and fork, he grabbed the steak and stuffed it into his mouth.

“Really, like a child.” Skye quickly wiped off the gravy with a tissue. “I’ll give you this one too. I’ll just have a cup of coffee.”

Skye cut his steak into pieces and pushed it in front of Mike. At the moment Mike couldn’t be polite and grabbed it and ate it.

After two steaks, Mike felt better and drank the juice.

“Enough? There is also a Tomahawk steak in the refrigerator. It has been marinated and cooked in the oven?”

“Okay.” Mike kissed Skye. “You are so kind.”

“Hey!” Sky wiped his mouth disgustedly, “It’s all gravy.”

Mike grinned and smiled triumphantly.

Skye went downstairs, and Bobby followed her, like a little follower.

Mike changed his clothes and turned on the news.

The news first reported the explosion in the Hell’s Kitchen. According to firefighters’ speculation, it was most likely caused by a natural gas leak. The specific reasons have to be investigated by experts.

Then there was a bizarre break in the bearing column of the top floor of a tall building, and the entire roof fell from the roof. Fortunately, there were no other buildings around the building and no casualties were caused.

“Both news are related to me, shouldn’t I become Edogawa Conan Marvel branch south?”

Mike complained about himself.

After watching the news, on the one hand, the congressmen brag about themselves, advocating the United States, screaming at other people’s fist, and on the other hand, there is a street melee.

The news continued, Mike turned on the computer, Fat Jerry and Phil Coulson each sent an email.

Fat Jerry’s email is a list of recent bull-peppers in New York.

Phil Coulson posted a few video screenshots and photos. One of them is familiar.

“Sikes?”

“A gunman hired by the Vampire Kingdom?”

“No, if the Vampire Kingdom, the location of the ambush is better at the headquarters of the Vampire Kingdom.”

“Is Sikes a triple spy?”

Then, looking down, Mike saw a picture of Sikes being shot headshot.

“Quiet… I’m not surprised at all.”

“Behind the scenes, the black hand is careful and cruel, and I don’t expect other clues to find out. But… as long as I meet the gunman again, I can definitely recognize it at a glance, even if he is wearing a helmet.”

Skye brought the baking tray up, and Mike quickly closed the laptop.

“Is there anything I can’t see, talk about sao with other girls?” Skye emptied his eyes.

Mike frankly turned on the computer, “No, I’m looking into the gunman who ambushed me yesterday. The picture is a bit bloody.”

Skye couldn’t bear to see the headshot of Sikes.

After a moment of silence, Mike said, “Sky, I don’t want to lie. If this person falls into my hands, he will definitely not die so comfortably.”

“This man and the gunman know where I live… the gunman is very powerful, probably very confident. If they are not so confident and take you, Old Earle and Chloe hostage, what should I do? If any of you are harmed , What should I do?”

“Therefore, I must let my enemies understand that they secretly attack me and the people around me, no matter who he is, how much wealth, and what rights and status he has, he will receive the fiercest counterattack. Only in this way, they will Before you do it, consider whether you can withstand the consequences of doing it.”

“Leave aside the above reasons, this person is called Sikes, he is a Hagui tribe. Hagui tribe is human beings who do things for vampires. They help vampires capture humans and do things that vampires cannot do during the day.”

Skye’s eyes widened, “Hagui tribe, why are they doing this?”

She cannot understand this behavior.

“I don’t know, it may be because of fear of death, it may be worshiping the so-called higher creatures, or it may really have a lasting suffering. Hagui clan…From the perspective of humans, this is absolutely unforgivable behavior.”

Mike hugged Skye gently, “Sorry, let you go through this. Sorry, you have added a lot of danger to your future.”

Skye leaned on Mike’s chest and whispered: “This is my own choice, isn’t it… And, Bobby, you will protect me well.”

Bobby saw Mike and Skye hugged, and wanted to participate, but he was too short to circle around them. Hearing Skye’s words, the little fire dragon stood up straight, paws his chest: “Carney! Carney!”

“I’m not that fragile, I said before.” Skye rubbed his nose. “Let’s eat.”

The tomahawk steak weighs three or four catties with bones and meat. Skye ate a bit and cut a bit to give Bobby a taste. Most of it went into Mike’s five internal organs.

There was noise from downstairs.

Skye panicked, “Oops, Old Earle came to open the door.”

Mike smiled but didn’t smile: “What are you panicking?”

Skye bit his lip. “I’m wearing yesterday’s clothes, and Old Earle must have thought we…Oh, Chloe is here today Saturday. What to do, what to do? Blame you!”

“Why don’t you hide upstairs until Old Earle gets off work?” Mike made a suggestion.

“I’m not hiding, and it’s not a shameful thing.” Skye akimbo.

Mike pressed Skye’s shoulders and looked straight into her eyes.

“Yeah, you said it’s not a shameful thing. Why are you panic? Still think about how to explain Bobby’s affairs, unless you want to keep hiding Bobby’s existence from them…”
