Pendor Empire In Other Worlds

Chapter 8: Old Fisher House

"This is my house," Old Fisher said, leading outside a yard on the west side of the middle section of Lothar Village, pointing to this yard.

Different from other farmers in the village, Old Feishe’s house is a yard enclosed by low earthen walls, and there is even a small two-story building, which is much more luxurious than other houses.

Old Fisher reached out and pushed open the concealed wooden door, led Lothar into the courtyard, and shouted: "Maharu, Mahalu, come out."

Following the shout of Old Fisher, two women emerged from a small house on the far left of the courtyard.

"Mr. Lothar," Old Fisher pointed to the two women and said to Lothar: "This is my wife Mahalu and my daughter-in-law Lifa."

was talking, the two women had already arrived.

"Good evening, two ladies," Lothar bowed slightly with his right hand touching his chest, following a standard general etiquette.

This kind of etiquette knowledge comes with the charm and persuasive skills.

Seeing this, the two women hurriedly replied. Among them, the older woman asked in a confused and disturbed tone:

   "Fisher, what's the matter?"

"Dear Mahalu, this is Mr. Lothar, a traveler. I will rest in our house for a few days later," Old Fisher briefly introduced Lothar, and he will ask again when he sees his wife, no Interrupted her patiently:

"Alright Mahalu, don't worry about it too much. You just need to prepare dinner for Mr. Lothar first. I will take him to the empty house on the second floor. He has lived there these days."

After finishing speaking, Old Fisher again told his daughter-in-law: "Lifa, you can find a set of bedding for Mr. Lothar and take it to his room."

The two women glanced at each other, and in line with their trust in the head of the family, they did not ask any more, and replied: "Okay."

After giving orders to his wife and daughter-in-law, Old Fisher turned his head and said to Lothar: "Come with me, Mr. Lothar, let's go this way." In his tone, there was obvious relaxation and joy.

"Just call me Lothar, Village Chief Fisher." Lothar nodded to the two women and said after following in the footsteps of old Fisher.

"Then you can also call me Old Fisher, no need to add the village chief." Old Fisher laughed, while walking up the stairs, to the innermost floor, and opened a door of the room.

This is a room with rural characteristics, about 20 square meters.

is the top beam in the middle. There is a small window opposite the door. A square table and two benches are placed beside the bed. A wooden bed is supported by the wall on the far right, and a cabinet is placed against the wall on the left.

   There is nothing else.

Although the room is relatively simple, it is very clean and there is no trace of dust. Obviously it is cleaned frequently.

Old Fisher took Lothar into the house and explained with a smile: "This house is specially used to entertain relatives and friends, so it is often cleaned and it is still clean. You will just take a look next, what about living here? kind?"

Lothar said gratefully: "You are too polite, this room couldn't be more comfortable, thank you so much. By the way..."

said, untied the fur that had been put away and stuffed it into the hands of Old Fisher.

"I said I would use this fur as a reward, now please accept it by all means."

Old Fisher laughed and said, "You are so polite. To tell the truth, brown bear fur is a rare thing, and you stay in my house for a few days can't match its value."

"Furthermore, our Leiden village is remote. Few people come except familiar relatives and friends. It is a rare fate that you can come to our village as a guest, so you don't need to be paid."

While talking, Old Fisher walked around Lothar, put the fur on the table, turned his head and walked outside the door.

"Okay, don't refuse, just live with peace of mind, I will find you some change of clothes and utensils."

Seeing that Old Fisher refused so simply, Lothar could only shook his head and temporarily gave up the idea of paying compensation, and hurriedly said to Old Fisher who walked out of the room: "You don't need to prepare clothes, I have spares here."

"Okay, then you take a rest here, I'll look for other supplies."

After speaking, Old Fisher left the room.

"Whhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh this is the favor," Lothar looked around the room and shook his head with a wry smile.

"Forget it, I'll pay it back if I have a chance."

sighed, Lothar took off his equipment and put the baggage he prepared before coming to the village together on the table, and then lay down on the wooden bed without unfastening his armor.

"Sure enough, the bed is more comfortable than the stump." Lothar cheered softly, just lying on the bed without thinking of anything.

was in a daze for about four or five minutes, and a sound of "boom boom boom" called Lothar's consciousness back.

It turned out that Old Fisher’s daughter-in-law Lifa brought a set of bedding.

Lothar quickly turned over and jumped off the bed, scratching his scalp and smilingly said: "I'm sorry, I haven't been in bed for too long, so I can't help but lie down."

Lifa smiled kindly: "It was I who disturbed you. Your journey must be very hard." Then he lifted the utensils he was holding. "Father asked me to bring you some bedding and daily necessities. I Put it there for you."

"Ah, don't bother, I can do it myself." Seeing this, Lothar hurriedly stepped forward to take the equipment from Lifa.

"Hehe, you're too polite, I'm better at UU reading www.uukanshu.com, I'm more familiar with it."

Lifa turned gently to avoid Lothar's hand, put the bedding on the bed, took out the washbasin and towels and other items on the ground, and then got up to make the bed.

Lothar stepped forward to help, and smiled bitterly and said, "Just call me Lothar, you and Old Fisher call me very uncomfortable with respectful names."

"Well Lothar, I heard Old Fisher say that you can hunt a brown bear, that's really a very powerful warrior....Yes, straighten that end..."

Lifa didn't refuse Lothar's help and made the bed with him.

"Ah, just so-so." Lothar didn't have an accurate judgment on his own strength, but inferred that it was probably much better than ordinary people.

"Uh, uh", Lifa shook his head to express his disbelief in Lothar's words, "You carry such heavy equipment and luggage, and you are so relaxed. You are definitely a very powerful fighter."

said it was a bedding. In fact, it was a straw mat, a linen bed sheet, and a coarse blanket as a quilt, plus a pillow filled with cereal shells and the like. Even a few chattering efforts are over.

"Old Fisher said that you have spare clothes, so I didn't have any more clothes to change."

Lifa then placed the supplies that had been placed on the floor in place, pointed to the washbasin and towel, and said:

"You can change your clothes first, and I will bring you a bucket of water later, and it will be time for you to wash your face before eating."

After speaking, Lifa turned to leave.

"Ah, by the way, you can just pour the used up water directly from the window. There is a vegetable garden outside. We all do it like this, hehe."

"I'll go and fetch water by myself." Lothar saw Lifa was about to leave, and followed up and said.

"It's okay, anyway, if you are strong, it's easy to lift it up."
