The days passed. With no other thought in mind, Gray continued his Daily quest. It reset exactly at midnight every day.

This would mean he could only get two stat points a day at most.

It was fine, though. He kept it going. The pain, the nausea, the weakness. As each passing day passed, his skin paled more and more.

Nevertheless, he preserved.

Gray, who had dark circles under his eyes, staggered toward the door as he dragged his long blade across the floor.

His stats had changed as a result of a recent discovery.

.

. Two days ago.

"Ninety-eight... Ninety-nine... One... Hundred..." He mumbled before flopping to the ground. He had just completed 100 push-ups.

At that moment.

[By reaching and exceeding limitations, +1 Strength has been gained]

Gray could not believe what he had discovered. The incident occurred the fifth day, just as he was about to collapse from exhaustion, but it still happened. After completing each of the other sets, it happened again.

[By reaching and exceeding limitations, +1 Stamina has been gained]

From the 10 KM run.

[By reaching and exceeding limitations, +1 Agility has been gained]

By squatting.

Shortly after receiving the notification, Gray collapsed, becoming unconscious

- Present.

As he reached the door, the sound of the blade scraping against the floor stopped.

Gray's mind was in no position to think due to how weak his spirit and body had become. His stomach hurt from the hunger.

His throat was dry. His infected wounds were swollen and itchy, and they had an unusual color. It had become unbearable.

Additionally, the fact that he was confined there with only himself for such a long period of time. He was clearly beginning to feel it mentally.

Without the fact that it wasn't his first time dealing with such a confinement, he wouldn't have coped as well.

He pushed open the door as his gray hair covered his expression.

As a result, he saw it. Once again.

On the floor, there were cracks leading to the end of the room where the piece of Armour still lay.

Gray stepped inside unfazed.

Taking the first step in, however, he felt a chill run down his spine.

A sword swing drew closer to him as he glanced to the right.

Gray was taken by surprise, so he instinctively tilted his body to avoid it, but was too slow.

[pause]

Just barely, the sword stopped beside his ears. But that was only the beginning.

**WHAM***

A kick slammed into Gray's back, sending him sliding forward.

Getting up slowly, Gray muttered, "That fucking hurt.".

*Clunk*

He noticed as he turned back toward the armor and entrance that it had closed the doors. It stood in Gray's path, blocking his escape.

Gray realized now that it was all part of their plan. The armor towards the end of the room was not real.

It was a surprise for him. He had not expected for it to be this intelligent. The whole thing was so unexpected that he couldn't help but snort.

"I guess there's no turning back this time..." He said, lifting the blade he hadn't let go of.

A tight grip was taken over the sword as the Armour walked towards Gray without pause.

Gray's eyes were focused on his status screen at that moment. In order to distribute his status points, his finger was pressing the [+] button next to his stats.

[HP: 6/8]

[Allocating 14 stat points, Confirm?]

"Yeah, confirm."

[Stat points allocated]

Gray felt a surge of energy pass through him. It felt as if his senses had been sharpened, taking away the drowsiness and fatigue. Suddenly, his body seemed to have gotten lighter.

Gray hopped with a surprised expression on his face, he sent a jab forward and watched as it expanded and retracted in speeds he had never before achieved.

It was such an abrupt increase that his body was not yet accustomed to it. While Gray was just starting to get the hang of things, the piece of Armour plunged at him.

*Crack!*

Armour suddenly appeared before Gray with a swing, leaving behind a crack in the ground.

*Swoosh*

Gray dodged its swing by a hair's breath by ducking at the last second. Armour, however, quickly capitalized on the momentum from its missed first swing with its second swing that came vertically down on Gray.

[Pause]

Above Gray's head, the swing came to a stop. However, as if anticipating this, the golden armor launched another kick at gray from the side. Similar to before.

Gray jumped up and dodged the kick with a horizontal swing in motion.

*Swoosh*

Armor swayed back, barely avoiding the swing as it did so. Immediately, however, another attack came.

*WHAM!*

Gray had landed a clean kick to the side of its head. He had paused the air beneath his left leg, allowing him to use it as footing in order to land a clean kick in Armour's head with his right leg.

[Pause]

When he paused the armor, the air under his leg was unpaused, causing him to fall. As a result, but it didn't matter as he had gained an opportunity.

The entire Golden Armour was frozen in place.

Since it didn't have a core, Gray didn't waste a moment, swinging the blade at its head with all his might.

*Clang*

The sound of a loud clang widened his eyes. His all-out effort only left a dent on the Armour.

Taking a few steps back, Gray pulled the large blade along with him, then swung the sword again at the same spot. While rotating his upper body, he was this time putting all his power into it.

*CLANG!*

It connected.

[Unpaused]

But-

*WHAM!*

Gray's eyes widened as the golden knee sunk deep into his chest, blasting him away.
