Naruto - A Cursed System

Months flew by since the Zenin Party. Thenceforth, Yukio concentrated on training and learning more about jujutsu sorcery. He also didn't neglect his dėsɨrė to obtain and advance skills. Unfortunately, the '-jutsu' skills couldn't be advanced since there were no ninjas. Although he tried to get others to cosplay as them, none of them advanced.

One of the most important things that Yukio was taught was a type of cursed restriction; binding vows. They are pacts made with jujutsu that creates conditions on yourself or agreements with others. They were essentially contracts.

The reason why Yukio thought they were so important was that they could also be beneficial. The act of abiding by the rules and conditions agreed upon in the vows can result in a greater power or the achievement of a goal. Though, he was confused about what that meant. His teacher never really explained further.

However, breaking a vow is dangerous and will possess repercussions. If Yukio made a vow with himself and broke it, he would lose whatever was gained through the contract. If Yukio were to do the same thing but with someone else, the penalty will be much greater than a self-vow.

Now that he knew how to make vows, Yukio now had a plan in mind back in the Naruto World. But there was a problem, Yukio didn't know if he could make a vow with non-sorcerers.

Asides from binding vows, he also learned about the other cursed restrictions; Revealing One's Hand and Heavenly Restriction.

The former allowed one to become stronger as long as they divulge the secrets of their technique. Such a risk allowed one's cursed energy to grow more abundant or become more effective.

The latter was just powerful bindings that were placed onto someone when they were born. They would lose something in exchange for improved features in a different capacity.

Yukio also learned about talismans and how to create them. Also known as Fulu, talismans are paper tags with sutras written on them.

They are primarily used to seal cursed objects to prevent them from causing harm. To a certain extent, they could also be used to restrain gradeless cursed spirits. However, their effectiveness decreased over time which causes their form to change (doing the opposite of what it was supposed to do).

Asides from sealing, talismans can also be used for other purposes. Such as an intermediary to conjure shikigami or they can be placed on curses to identify their status and location.

With that knowledge, Yukio could now complete his dream; to build a cursed zoo! And maybe a cursed garden. He got the idea when he first saw the cursed dungeon's Fly Heads and the cursed seed reward from exorcising the boss cursed spirit. He didn't think much about it when he got the Cursed Seed as a mission reward or when he saw it in the cursed shop.

There were also other things that he learned but it wasn't much. His teacher didn't want Yukio to get sidetracked by them and would only teach him when he grew older. Unfortunately, the system didn't have plans for that. He learned some bits about barrier techniques and shikigami.

Moving on from education, Yukio increased his stats and his control over cursed energy. He also trained his chakra control but not much. He wanted to spend most of his time training anything related to JJK.

His total cursed energy also increased. Since he started the trial, every day brought him two cursed energy points. He also formed and defeated several cursed dungeons. However, they only allowed him to take 10% of cursed energy.

[Advanced Climbing]

Description: Substantially boosts your proficiency at climbing. Your stamina depletion speed is slowed when you are climbing. It is easier to perform lots of actions without a risk of falling. Once a day, you can climb the air for a few seconds.

He found that the skill also affected basic ninja tree climbing. So, he spent a couple of days just 'climbing' all over the trees within the Gojo Family's territory.

[Advanced Searching]

Description: Substantially boosts your proficiency at searching. Each of your five senses can separately identify important clues when searching for something. All clues that might lead to you have become less noticeable. Once a month, you will come across an important clue.

He already had the third part of the advancement method completed. All he had left was the avian and time object. During his climbing trip, he was able to track down an avian.

As for an object lost to time, Yukio thought that he knew of such an item; Sukuna's fingers. After all, it's a cursed object created from the Heian Era. He somehow convinced Kenzo Gojo, the Family Head, to let him see it. Only after he had Satoru request to see it was he allowed. Instantly, the skill advanced.

[Intermediate Gardening]

Description: Moderately boosts your proficiency at gardening. The plants you grow welcome all sorts of creatures, any harmful creature is helpful in a way. The plants you take care of have become more resistant to the elements of nature.

It took a long time for Yukio to complete it. When he saw the advancement method, he almost passed out. He had no idea how he could do the latter requirement, even the former one was difficult! He could only give up on getting the advanced version for now.

[Intermediate Taming]

Description: Moderately increases your proficiency in taming. The creatures you tamed are more intelligent compared to their wild brethren. You can keep track of the tamed creatures you have via the system.

To advance the skill, tame a large number of creatures of different species and successfully create a new species.

When he was out looking for avians, he managed to advanced the taming skill by befriending several critters. However, like the gardening skill, this skill was asking too much. Especially since he was in the JJK World.. He felt sad that he was going to leave his tames behind in JJK since he had no idea how to bring them with him.
